DDR stands for "Drunken Defenders of the Rock" and it's a PRO on Teras Isle created out of a need to have a millitant force to deal with the attack of the Krolvin on the city of Kharam-Dzu. The name, of course silly as it is, came from an evening of drinking and milling over names. We rejected several names for lack of "class" and the DDR was born. Now that the Krolvin are gone, we spend our time holding community events and er.. getting drunk.
What does the DDR's sigil look like?
A black on blue shield-shaped crest emblazoned with the images of the Glasen Star and a mug of ale engraved with the initials DDR. Erupting from the top of the crest is the image of a volcano belching smoke from the eye of V'tull
What is the DDR's statement of purpose?
To defend the citizens of Teras Isle from any and all threat. To bring a greater sense of community to Kharam-Dzu and it's citizens. To improve the town of Kharam-Dzu and welcome visitors.
Anyone that cares about the community and feels a desire to defend Teras Isle against any and all threat. Members must be willing to agree to the Statement of Purpose. Members are expected to do their best to uphold the community and the laws of Teras Isle and be an example of good rollplay for everyone else.
Our officers are Gothique, Scheree, Clintmire, Sente, Jayleena, Reggy, Murp and Dzib. The officers each play their own part in the organization of the DDR and allow members (Defenders) to play whatever roll they choose so long as it promotes the DDR and shows us in a good light.
