The residents of Teras Isle have long had their own customs and expectations of visitors. In the past there have been times when the eldest governed over those of their profession. This led to very strict rules and even death to those that stepped out of line.

The residents of Teras Isle do NOT wish to revert back to those days, we have come a long way since then and that's because everyone has a place and knows what it is, and nobody is above anyone else.

If you please, when you come to visit the city of Kharam-Dzu, follow these customs. You will be readilly accepted as a visitor and possible resident without question.

· No buying, selling, raffling, or even acronym use (‘TTM’) on the public amunet.

· No falling asleep (leaving your character unattended) in a public place. Please find an out of the way place for your character to rest peacefully. This is not just to avoid vagrancy but also if there is an invasion you could die. The healing spot known as "the statue" is an example of one such place NOT to leave your character unattended at.

· No dropping junk, especially empty chests, in a public place. Lava tubes have been installed for this purpose.

· Rescues of corpses must be announced on the amunet if at all possible. If it is not possible, at least announce when the corpse is safe in town.

· If you are a young empath or cleric, follow the advice of those already established on the isle.

· DO NOT ring the gong unless there is an invasion or other crisis that the townspeople should know about! You can go to jail for it, and I hope you do.

Teras Isle is a close community and we all have to look out for each other. We hope that on your visit here you will honor us by respecting the customs set forth by the residents.
