Newborn Disease Screening
There are only two disorders that all states require newborns be screened for: phenylketonuria (PKU), and congenital hypothyroidism. Many more diseases can be screened for, at a cost of $25-$50. The table below provides some links to sites that give information on newborn screening or organizations that will actually do additional testing.
