2008 Budget
and Changes
1)
Since we have
increased the league to 48 golfers, and based on responses to the survey
20 golfers
will now qualify for the League Championship Tournament (LCT).
2)
The winner of the
Match Play Tournament will get an automatic entry to the LCT.
Last
years winner will also be grandfathered in. (Executive Decision)
3)
The winner of each
Regular Season Tournament (RST) will get an automatic entry to LCT,
with the stipulation that this persons handicap for
the LCT can be no higher than when he
qualified, unless he also qualifies with points. In
that case he will use his year ending
handicap.
4)
Almost everyone
liked the 3 flight payout and kicking in a little extra at the LCT. We may
have
to adjust the flights since 20 people are now making the LCT.
5)
Most people
wanted to see larger RST payouts. This will not effect the payouts much
for the
LCT since we had a surplus last year due to a
rain-out.
Payouts will now be as follows:
a)
RST winner remains $75
- Runner-up will now receive $25
b)
Weekly Low net
will now receive $20 instead of $10.
c)
Weekly Long
Putt remains $5.
d)
Pin Shots go from $5 to $10 with a $5 bonus for being within
Flagstick.
e)
We will now pay
top 5 Point Totalers and top 4 Match Play.
6)
We now have 48
golfers for the league meaning our first tee time is
