Class.of.1964

On the 2009 Memorial Day weekend, the Class of 1964 had their 45th reunion celebration. About 100 people attended the festivities which included tours of the two high schools, a reception at the Berea Historical Society Museum, the dinner/dance, and a Sunday afternoon picnic. We had a great time greeting old friends and meeting some new ones. Many distant memories were recalled as we toured the two high schools, which have seen several additions and modifications. For many of us, as we looked at the historical artifacts in the basement of the museum, it brought back memories of our youth - especially the foot x-ray machine from the Neubrand Shoe store. On Saturday night at the Berea American Legion Hall, those in attendance heard some "tall" tales from our high schools days, were able to dance to the 60's oldies by DJ Mark Way and everyone received at least one item to remember the occasion. We enjoyed a delicious meal provided by caterer Marianna Paris and had a great time of fellowship with our classmates. On Sunday, many of us met at the pavilion at Coe Lake to further our conversations and enjoy some picnic food.
