Charles Asvestas(BHS) - Medina, OH, married(Linda), 3 children, 4 grandchildren,  He retired from Ford in 1997 then moved to Texas in 1999 and then came back to Medina in 2005.

Susan Barchard(BHS) - Brecksville, OH, Single/committed (significant other Mark Butler), spent 15 years with Northwest Airlines, 7 years as a Desktop Publisher, had a number of other short term jobs and several layoffs later am now working for the Ohio Turnpike, Interests: Artwork - I am a Fairy Artist, which absorbs me and keeps me busy hours on end, I enjoy writing (am working on two books, one a book of Fairy Art and Poetry, the other a UFO Novel), am an avid reader, love nature, animals, birds (especially Parrots), and enjoy walking in the woods behind my house and feeding the animals,  have over 100 houseplants, especially love Tropicals, enjoy gardening on my deck in the summer, I am an Astrologer and Metaphysician.

Bob Bardwell/Mary Benedict(BHS) - Downingtown, PA, married 39 yrs., 3 sons, Mary is a first grade teacher, Bob retired after 24 yrs at Siemens Medical Solutions(principal consultant) and is now looking for full-time employment. Interesting fact: Bob won 3-wall National Handball championships in Toledo, OH in his age division.

William Barrett(BHS) - Reynoldsburg, OH, married(Iris), 3 children, works for 29 yrs at Diamond Innovations Inc which makes industrial diamons. Likes hiking, woodworking, and travel. His oldest son is in Afganistan with the Army.

Marilyn Beers Atchison(BHS) - Columbus, OH, married(John), 5 children, 9 grandchildren, retired State of Ohio in their Employee Health Services(30 yrs), enjoys the grandchildren, fishing, gardening, reading and traveling.

Susan Berger Hall(BHS) - Medina, OH, married(Bruce-36 yrs), 2 children, 1 grandchild due in Aug, almost retired from picture framing business, enjoys all kinds of sewing - quilt making, hand emroidery, gardening and spending time at their summer cottage at Lakeside, OH.

Raebeth Blazek Costolo(BHS) - Little Rock, AR, married(Mark-43 yrs), 1 son, 2 grandchildren, she retired as executive assistant working for CEOs and V.P.s. They have moved 15 times because of her husband's career, so they lived from coast to coast(20 yrs. in Denver.) Raebeth says, "I love to spend time with my grandchildren!  I enjoy traveling and taking cruises (Hawaii and Caribbean)  I also enjoy time with my social clubs and church friends; home decorating; and crafts."

Margie Bobo Broderick(BHS) - Reno, NV, divorced, 3 children, 4 grandchildren, works as a school librarian, and enjoys desert camping and hiking. Margie's youngest is getting married on May 23, so she'll be a little busy that day. She sends her regards to all her classmates.

Bryan Bonds(BHS) - Nashville, TN, divorced, Professor of Electrical Engineering at Vanderbilt.  I still enjoy fiddling with my antique cars and I still play trombone, in the Nashville Community Concert Band.  Travel is a passion, the picture (taken July 2008) is of me and my friend Laraine visiting with Morani at the Sweetwater Game Preserve in Kenya.

Roman Borszcz(BHS) - Granger, IL, married(Lesia), 2 children, retired from hospital management, part-owner of small accounting firm; working parttime with adolesents going through the juvenile justice syste and volunteer English language instructor at the Ukrainian Catholic University.

Robert Brill(BHS) - Berea, OH, divorced, 3 children, 3 grandchildren, working at Shiloh Industries, had been with Axle Supply company

Dr. Walter Broadbent(BHS) - Lakewood, OH, married(Nancy- 22 yrs), received his Ph.D. in 1992 but has been in the psychotherapy for more than 40 years - mainly working with addicts. Presently he is working on a website as well as distributing a wellness product for those of "our" generation.

Stephen Brummet(BHS) - Jupiter, FL, married(Ruth-10 yrs), 3 children, 3 grandchildren, works as engineer at Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne. Cool things about Steve is that he works on the space shuttle engineer (so I guess he's a "rocket scientist"), and he and Ruth live in an oceanside condo in Jupiter.

Dr. Fritz Brunner(BHS) - Walnut Creek, CA, widowed, 1 child, Sr. Consultant for Kaiser Permanente in Northern CA, Leah Sanders(girl friend of 5 years), I enjoy skiing, which I started five years ago; I am now a good intermediate skier. I like to cook and have gotten good at it, though I also enjoy eating out and trying all types of food and wine. I enjoy traveling. I have done a lot the past ten years while I was a consultant for Aon. I got an opportunity to work in Southeast Asia, China, Europe and the Americas – north and south. Earlier, I went back to school in the mid-‘90s and got a PhD in Psychology.

Deanna Carpenter(BHS) - El Paso, TX, single, 2 children, 3 grandchildren, she owns her own shop, specializing in permanent botanical designs.

Marianne Case Potts(BHS) - Byron Center, MI, married(Larry), 2 children, 5 grandchildren, retired from Firestone(Brook Park) and presently working at the Family Fare Grocery store.

Tennie Chatton(BHS) - Farmington, MI, single, 1 child, 1 grandchild, retired from the US Post Office.

Barbara Christian Ward(BHS) - Strongsville, OH, widow(Earl, 30 yrs), son, Sean, adopted daughter, Lori, and granddaughter Janean(below), graduated from Harvard, worked at Cleveland Trust as the first female programmer in the computer depart., also worked at the Strongsville police dept. for 10 years, has 3 yorkies and 1 poodle mix, enjoying retirement and her family.

Cathy Chrysler Bell(BHS) - Springfield, OH, married(Andy-40 yrs), 4 children, 3 grandchildren, former pre-school teacher, spending time with our grandchildren is my favorite thing to do!    I also do a lot of volunteering and bike riding....  :)

Linda Cole Zemke(BHS) - Mineral, VA, married(Larry),. 2 children, 4 grandchildren, retired (Sales/Marketing for Verizon and special ed. teacher for 13 yrs.), Likes to travel, gardening and raising money for fightiing cancer.

Don Conrad & Kathy Baker Conrad(BHS) - North Wales, PA, married(29 yrs), 1 child, Don- Director of Engineering at Motorola, Don likes race cars, has original 1912 Model T, Kathy makes custom 1912 era Edwardian costumes.

Kathy Couey Holt(BHS) - Salisbury Mills, NY, single, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, has her own hand-painted artisan business called "The Painted Box". She'll be at the reunion, so ask her about her buisiness.

Ron Dietrich(BHS) - Westerville, OH, married(Pat), 3 children, semi-retired from State of Ohi, Economic Development(Loan administrator) - no only working 3 days a week. Him main interest is working 0 days a week. :-)

Tom (Tucker) Doddridge(BHS) - Concord, OH, married (40 yrs), 2 children, 2 grandchildren, retired(35 yrs - 31 as principal), golf everyday, travel, take care of grandchildren

Becky Donahue Demczyk(BHS) - Wally Demczyk(BHS) - Lawrenceburg, IN, married(42 yrs), 3 children, 3 grandchildren, Becky contiinues to work as an Administrator in a middle school(Cinn.) and Wally is retired from Delta Airlines. Wally enjoys golfing, fishing and going to the Cleveland Browns home games. They both enjoy traveling, and spending time with family and spoiling the grandkids.

Dennis Donahue(BHS) - Olmsted Township, OH, married(Mercedes-17 yrs), retired from Ford Motor Co(38 yrs), 3 children, 4 grandchildren, also served 4 yrs. in Marine Corps(wounded twice in Vietnam), associates degree in business from Wooster Business College.

Fred Dupuis(BHS) - North Hills, CA, single, works for American Airlines(AMT), likes hot rods, land speed racing, cooking, Blues music and art.

Don Dziedziak(BHS) - Grafton, OH, married(Michalene), 4 children, 11 grandchildren, works as a correctional officer at the Grafton Correctional, likes to bowl and golf.

Jim Effinger(BHS) - Salisbury, NC, married(Nancy), 2 children, retired from Duke Energy(30 yrs) as a Regulatory compliance Engineer, still working as a consultant to the nuclear industry(quality assurance and licensing), his hobbies are Bonsai and family. They live in a small town 40 miles north of Charlotte and he says that he still has all his teeth and most of his hair!!

Gary and Connie (Moodt) Farnsworth(BHS) - Denver, NC, married to each other, 3 children, 2 grandchildren, Gary is Delta pilot and likes to fly, boating and motorcycles (although I think Connie crossed that off)

Andy (Harv) Fay(BHS) - Berea, OH, married(Donna-38 yrs), 1 child, 3 grandchildren, retired from PPG 3 years ago, he is trying to play golf but spends a lot of time volunteering for groups in Berea - such as the Berea Arts Feast, Berea Community Deev. Corp., Berea city Club, Berea Charter Review Committee and Building and Planning Commission.

Brian Fisher(BHS) - Stevenson Ranch, married(Kathy), 2 children(youngest passed away in 1997 at age 25), President/Founder of Pacific Technical Products(www.ptpcorp.com), hobbies include Corvettes, Guitar

Roger Fletcher(BHS) - Nampstead, NH, widowed, 2 sons, 3 grandchildren, works as marketing VP for L&R Mgt Corp.

Beth Gehring Brill(BHS) - Brook Park, OH, divorced, 3 children, 3 grandchildren, works at MetroHealth hospital in the IT dept., likes to roller skake, cross country ski, and bike.

Jill Gernhard Burkhart(BHS) - North Olmsted, OH, married(Gil-34 yrs), 2 children and waiting patiently for a grandchild, retired orthodontic assistant, but still working homemaker, She enjoys gardening, reading, cooking and music. Volunteer work includes facilitator for a Lupus support group and a feline friend at the Berea Animal Rescue. She is also a member of her church bell choir.

Larry Gibbons(BHS) - Clifton, VA, married(Linda), 2 children, 1 grandchild, Director, Mediation Services, National Mediation Board, avid golfer, ** he recovering from by-pass surgery (March 12) but says he'll be at the reunion in May!!

Deborah Gray Wagner(BHS) - Marstons Mills, MA, married(Gus), 5 children, 2 grandchildren, works as Title I Reading specialist, likes to ski on Saddleback Mt every weekend in Maine, Her husband of 4 years has been a judge and now is a litigation lawyer in Cape Cod.

Shari Greene McCoy(BHS) - Ridgway, CO, widowed(Hugh), 2 boys, worked for 8 yrs. managing yoga suudio in WA, has been an administrator for an educational foundation, likes to hike, bike, swim, tennis, skiing, dancing and singing. Lives in a "Rock your Socks" mountain area. Had built and sailed a boat with husband(6 yrs) and chartered guests in Carribbean.

Barbara Greenwood Perdue(BHS) - Roanoke, VA, married(Jesse-40 yrs), retired programmer/systems analyst(28 years), financial secretary(church - 12 yrs.), enjoy traveling, taking cruises, walking, and working in the yard.

John Greissing(BHS) - Aguila, AZ, married(Barbara-class of '69), 2 children, 2 grandchildren, retired from NASA Cleveland, Wind Tunnel Operations Engineer and Facility Manager. Current activities are the restoration, maintenance and flying of private airplanes and exploring the nearly 1 million acres of Sonoran Desert surrounding our home. Gail Gryzlo Bradish(BHS) - Berea, OH, married(Harvey-29 yrs), 2 children(Andy & Michele Novak-deceased in 2003), 2 grandchildren, works at Southwest General Health Center as a Billing Supervisor for Southwest Urgicare for 24 years and loves the medical field. She enjoys her family, Harvey and son and their 3 Labs. She loves gardening, traveling and spending time with her friends.

Daryl Hatch Podobinski(BHS) - Chicago, IL, married(Mark), 3 children, medical transcriptionist in Anatomic Pathology(she went back to school at 60!), loves to spend time at their place in northern Wisconsin(by U.P.), likes to read about alternative medicine and is a Reiki practitioner and master teacher. John Henry(BHS) - Liberia, married(Melinda), 4 children, 4 grandchildren, retired from Army National Guard Technician, presently missionary serving in Liberia, Africa with Free Methodist World Missions, plans on attending the 50th reunion.

Al Hogan(BHS) - Upper St. Clair, PA, married(Patricia), 2 children, 1 grandchild (and one on the way), retired from MgrSales, BNSF Railway, likes to golf , skiing and sports car racing.

Lana Holtzapple Schneider(BHS) -  Olympia, WA, married(Dennis 42 years), one son.  She has worked as a weaver/spinner/teacher in fiber arts for over 20 years and spend the rest of my time working for Nutro Pet Foods...fiber is a major part of her life!

David Hudimac(BHS) - Strongsville, OH, married(Charlyne), 3 children, 5 grandchildren, retired machinist.

Joel Hutt(BHS) - LeLude, France, married(Annemieke), 3 children, 2 grandchildren(one on the way), retired(GE-Communications), presently restoring a 400 year old farm house which is approx. 2.5 hours from Paris. Joel will be attending the reunion.

Kathie Irwin Heller(BHS) - Pasadena, CA, divorced, 1 son, 1 grandchild, medical technology healthcare consultant, Kathie says, "I love to travel. I’ll miss the reunion because I’ll be on a 17-day tour of south of France, Provence, and Paris. I’m a sometime quilter and an avid fan of choral music, and sing in my church choir. Couldn’t do without my season tickets to Los Angeles Master Chorale. I enjoy city walks around LA and learning how to get around on public transportation. I try to get back to Ohio at least once a year to see family in Oberlin, Columbus area and Marietta, and make frequent trips to northern CA to see my new granddaughter."

Dan Jones(BHS) - Loveland, OH, married(Sharon-43 yrs), 2 children, 2 grandchildren, retired, loves to golf, still have '65 Chevelle, just ordered new Dodge Challenger.

Steve Kempf(BHS), Auburn, AL, married(Rita-40 yrs), 1 son, Associate Professor, Auburn Univ., Steve say, "My and my son’s latest passion is flying gliders (see pictures). Rita and I enjoy hiking, snorkeling, travel, music, and various and sundry other diversions. I’m still addicted to fast cars, currently a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Spyder. I’m not ready to retire yet. I teach Vertebrate Development and Histology courses (for pre-meds) at Auburn University and continue my research in molluscan larval neurodevelopment and coral symbosis. The research, teaching, and particularly my three current graduate students (1 M.S. and 2 Ph.D.) keep life busy, exciting and interesting. There’s never a dull moment (really!). In June I’m going in for some back surgery, but I guess such things are to be expected as one grows older. Overall though, I would have to say life is good and I expect the adventure to continue for quite a few more years. Best wishes to all my classmates from 1964. I’m sorry to say that I’ll miss the reunion this year, but maybe I’ll see you at the next one."

Elaine Keesor Berry(BHS) - Jonesboro, IN, married(Larry), 1 child, 1 grandchild, retired from Anchor Hocking Glass as quality control.

David Kohn(BHS) - Elyria, OH, married(Marjorie), retired from Ford Motor Brookpark, retirement jobs are school crossing guard and usher for plays & concerts at Lorain County Community College. I also teach Sunday school and have church services at the Lorain County Jail rehab.

Bruce Kole(BHS) - The Villages, FL, married(Kathi), 1 child, 2 step-children, retired priincipal (Elyria Schools), enjoys motorcyles, biking, swimming, horseback riding and traveling.

Joe Kopec(BHS) - Burr Ridge, IL, Married(Karen Sauke '65), 2 children, president of public relations firm,

Cindy Kouris Dittoe(BHS) - Mishawaka, IN, married(Richard, 42 yrs), 3 children, 4 grandchildren, she still loves to make art, painting w/oils, pastels and watercolor. Also, likes to golf and travel. She would love to see everyone at the reunion, but they had family responsibilities.

Tom Lamers(BHS) - Berea, OH, married(Janet-38 yrs), 2 children, 4 grand-dogs, worked 24 yrs at Foseco, 4 yrs at Ryder Logistics Whirlpool, and is semi-working for his wife. Tom is involved with various Corvette clubs and loves 80's bands such as Poison & Whitesnake.

Gary Machovina(BHS) - O'Fallon, IL, married(Joan-40 yrs), 2 children, retired from US Air Force, working for Science Applications Inter. Corp., like golfing, hunting, reading and fishing. Gary Machovina works for Science Applications International.  He and his wife first lived in Texas where Gary completed pilot training for the Air Force.  During the next 30 years, they lived in the Philippines, Virginia, Alabama, Washington, California, Rhode Island, Illinois, North Carolina, and New Jersey.  Gary served as a C-130 pilot, first flying in Viet Nam and then in some 45 other countries before retiring as a colonel. During that time, Joan raised two great daughters, Krista and Hilary, while Gary was somewhere else across the globe. Gary reads, plays a little golf, and hunts with his pointer, Heidi. 

Tom Maley(BHS) - Berea, OH, single, will retire shortly from Lutheran Hospital(Cleveland Clinic) after 20 years of doing CC-T Scans. He has spent 41 years in the field of diagnostic radiology. He has a 10-month old Persian cat named Simon and he enjoys reading, going out with friends, shoppiing and "whatever he wants." He plans on traveling to Ireland with his brother Dave, who is also retiring soon

Verna Martin Eastman(BHS) - Herndon, VA, married(Gordon), 2 children, works for US Government, Intelligence, she likes hiking, bikiing, and jogging...to burn off the calories from her baking hobby.

Ralph Messuri(BHS) - Elyria, OH, married(Ethel- 38 yrs), 2 children, 1 grandchildren, self-employed courier and delivery service.

Susan Miser Burkholder(BHS) - Sarasota, FL, married(Jeff-27 yrs), 2 children, 4 grandchildren, still working as a dental hygienist 4 days a week for Dr. Hazlett(he's a Mich grad, Sue is OSU grad), and enjoys golfing, raising orchids, reading , walking for exercise, fishiing, former Harley Davison motorcycle owner, traveling and, of course, her grandchildren. Will not probably make it to the reunion.

Joe Mogor(BHS) - Wheaton, IL, married(Elaine-40 yrs), 1 daughter, retired from Consolidate Container, VP Engineering, 33 yrs, doing consulting in plastic manufacturing, likes fishing, travel, and working on his "old" house.

Doug Moseman(BHS) - Eden Prairie, MN, married(Carol), 2 children, 3 grandchildren, manufacturing manager,

Jim Mordarski(BHS) - Olmsted Falls, OH, married(Debbie-36 yrs), 2 children, retired metal pattern maker, used to drag race cars(legally), like to around the house and antiques

Irene Morgan Zieja(BHS) - Westfield, OH, widowed(Ted, died 2 years ago), 1 son(police officer), Irene and husband trained dos for 30 years and she still boards dogs. Previouosly, they ran Hunters Trials and AKC Trials with their Springer Spaniels which her husband trainded and bred. She lives in the country for last 22 years, and retired after 28 years from DeLuxe Check Printers. Presently, she volunteers with the Medina Police Dept. with the Citizens Policing Assoc. - had to take a 10-week Police Academy class.

Vivian Myers Smith(BHS), Elyria, OH, married(Charles E - 44 years), 3 children, 4 grandchildren, retired nurse, but still some part-time nursing, sings in church choir

Jerry Novak(BHS) - Jamestown, NC, married(Gloria), 2 children, 3 grandchildren, tour bus operator(Anderson Coach & Holiday Tours - 28 yrs), he's just enjoying the mountains and beaches of North Carolina.

Brian Ogilvie (BHS) - Olmsted Falls, OH, married(Jan-23 yrs), 5 children, 8 grandchildren, retired(30 yrs. Berea City Schools), retired state technology consultant to 43 NE Ohio school districts, project manager for Grace Church building project(2.5 yrs), likes to golf, tennis, bike, boating, church - leads Marriage 911 (for couples in crisis), travel to see grandkids on East coast, and vacations to the Mexican Riviera Maya.

Ray O'Hearn(BHS) - Centennial, CO, married(Sharon-25 yrs), 2 children, 3 grandchildren, retired(United Airlines-38 yts), likes reading, walking and taking care of the grandchildren - and they love Baseball and Basketball.

Ned Phillips(BHS) - Sedona, AZ, married(Sally-41 yrs.), 1 child, 2 grandchildren, retired from Hinchcliff Lumber Company, self-employed as a part-time Independent Financial Advisor, likes to hiking, reading, teaching, traveling and Economic Policy(Obama could use Ned's help!!)

Leslie Prince Greissing(BHS) - divorced, 2 children, 2 grandchildren, retired(MetroHealth Medical Center), enjoys traveling, She lives in a detached cluster home and have flower beds which she keeps full of flowers, both annual and perennial. When the weather allows, she enjoys long walks outside with her Sheltie.

Vicki Plucinski Good(BHS) - Kirkland, WA, divorced, 5 children, 4 grandchildren, Boeing Company ~ Software Developer, she says, "I have eclectic interests from kayaking to hiking. I’d rather ride my bike 2 miles to the store than walk, but the longest I ride is about 20 miles. I also like to sit home and read or knit or try to make a quilt and for fun in the garden, I PULL those weeds! I am a member of the “Woodlands Rangers” which is a group that monitors the trees in the local woods to identify sick or dangerous trees. …and of course, my favorite people are those that call me Gramma! "

Dave Purdy (BHS) - Berea, OH, married(Ann), 3 children, 1 grandchild, retired school counselor and principal(Berea City Schools), biking, exercising,assistant girls basketball this winter at BHS, loves to travel, spend time with family, consulting and giving presentations on parenting.

Linda Short(BHS) - Berea, OH, single, she is a Methodist minister serving as Director of Christian Education, interests include music(singing), gardening, and traveling.

Jack Shotton(BHS) - Minneapolis, MN, married(Erlinda), 2 children, sells power transmission equipment, sails Lake Superior in summer, snow ski in the winter.

Charlene Smith Tyrrell(BHS) - Sagamore Hills, OH, remarried(Ron), 2 children, 6 grandchildren, retired, working as a Doula(birth/labor coach)

Joyce Somsak(BHS) - Chevy Chase, MD, married(Donald Kosin, Jr), daughter,Katharine at NW Univ., she directs 8 health care programs for US DHHS. They love to travel, attend Georgetown basketball games, see foreign movies, and eat any place but at home. Charlie Spencer(BHS) - Parma Heights, OH, married(Debbie), 2 children, 2 grandchildren, retired(detective in Midd. Hts. police dept), Black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Sky Diving until a motor vehicle accident blew out my knee, then Scuba Diving & Instructing from 1988 to the present, *so don't mess with Charlie*

Sharon Stearns Miner(BHS) - Strongsville, OH, married(Bob('63) 40 yrs - Deceased, 4/20/09), 2 children, 3 grandchildren, still working as a legal secretary, likes spending time with grandchildren, traveling, golfing, hiking, and collecting magnets from places they have traveled.

Janet Synk Slade(BHS), married(Larry-38 years), 3 children, 2 grandchildren. Janet says, "I am a certified, licensed occupational therapist assistant practicing in geriatrics and rehabilitation.  I also enjoy the dynamics of group therapy. I only have one child living at home so I am starting to enjoy more leisure time and explore more activites.  Alot of my time is spent chauffering my youngest son to his activities including Special Olympics.  Best wishes to everyone and hope to see you in May and rekindle friendships."

Winifred Taylor West(BHS) - Berea, OH, widowed(Dwight), 2 children, 2 grandchildren, retired from AT&T after 39 yrs, 5 mon, 13 days (approximately), loves to travel by land/sea/air. cruised to South America last year.
