The New Covenant Fellowship Congregation of Emory, Texas, hosted a revival beginning on the evening of Feb 15 through the morning of Feb. 17. We began the revival with spirited music and worship followed by anointings for healing and prayers for deliverance for the young.

Jerry Healan gave the opening message on the need for revival and the importance of our keeping the worship, the ministry, and the fellowship clean and pure (holy). He showed how Zechariah 3 reveals that the Savior and His priesthood would be corrupted and satanized because Satan is shown to be at YAHshua's right hand and He (YAHshua) is dressed in filthy clothing. The replacement of the mitre (headdress) of YAHshua reveals that the names would also be corrupted. He also likened the latter day ministries to the Laodiceans who were neither cold nor hot. He encouraged all to become repent, become zealous and be clothed with the righteousness of YAHshua.

Brother Richard Roy of Alexandria, Louisiana gave the second message on Sabbath morning. The central theme of his message was based on repentance, but he also revealed how only 19 men made a great impact on the world and changed it when they coordinated their attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11th. While their works made a change through destruction, a small number of people (such as ourselves) can make an impact upon the world through the constructive works of the Holy Spirit.

Brother Harold Watkins gave the third message on Sabbath afternoon. The main theme of his message was focused on the forsaking of YAHWEH, the fountain of living waters by Israel and their hewing out broken cisterns which can hold no water (Jer. 2:13). He gave five points on how to begin to drink of the deep, refreshing waters of the Holy Spirit. All agreed that his message reminiscent of the original Pentecost message of Acts 2:38.

The evening message was given by Brother Jim Thompson of Alabama. He spoke on Israel’s forsaking of their great Elohim, YAHWEH and the sad destruction that followed. He lamented the sad fact that there are no great healings among YAHWEH'S people as he has personally seen in some other ministries. the greatness of YAHWEH and the power of healing can be restored to YAHWEH'S people if we will only learn to serve Him with the whole heart.

Brother Willie Beard gave the fifth and final message on Sunday morning. His message summarized the previous four messages and focused on the faith and grace of YAHWEH'S true people. He encouraged us to go home and not to forget the experience of the revival, but to get involved in the spirit of revival everywhere that we can. He encouraged us to stir up the gift that YAHWEH has placed within us.

Many gave testimonies on the last day, that the revival had more than accomplished its purpose. Everyone felt renewed in spirit and we are praying that YAHWEH will give us the strength and power to continue with the revived spirit for revival comes from Him and if it is to endure, He must be in it.

Jerry Healan closed with some parting comments concerning zeal. Zeal, of course, has to do with ardor, fervency, passion, etc. It has to do with being on fire for YAHWEH, YAHshua, their work, their names, their ways, their kingdom. But zeal also has to do with jealousy. We need to be jealous for YAHWEH and YAHshua. We must lift their names on high and give the credit, glory and honor to them. We need to be jealous of the works that we see done in the Gentile, pagan names. We need to be holding their names up on high and attributing all works to their true names. We need to be jealous of any other elohim or any other name that has subtly replaced theirs.

We have dedicated ourselves to keep the revival going. We have also dedicated ourselves to others in other areas. If you would like to hold a revival in your area. Frances Hayes has recently succumbed to the ravages of cancer. Frances was the wife of Ed Hayes. They were dwelling in Cane Hill, Arkansas. The particulars of her age, other survivors, etc. have not been made available. However, our deepest sympathies go out to the surviving family who have suffered a tremendous loss.

YAHSHUA IS COMING SOON!

The crucial question is, Do we consider YAHshua's return a matter of vital importance? Are we allowing the anticipation of His return to shape all of our thoughts and actions? Whatever the reason, has His delay made us careless and indifferent? With all the knowledge we have of the nearness of His coming, based on the evidence as well as our senses, it seems that many are experiencing a lesser sense of urgency than the early Messianic believers. It seems as if the attitude of eager waiting and anticipation has diminished in inverse proportion to the chronological nearness of the event. What a tragedy it is when hope grows dim and faith unsettled! Believers in YAHshua's coming need to reaffirm their faith and confidence, not only in the general concept of YAHshua's return to the earth, but in the chronological nearness of that will be the earth’s most cataclysmic experience.

"For yet a little while, He Who is coming shall come and shall not delay," Heb. 10:37 (The Scriptures). The early believers expected YAHshua to return soon. They stood in danger of being impatient. I can imagine some of them saying, If YAHshua does not come today, He shall certainly come tomorrow." Their faith seemed to have pivoted on immediate results. They needed encouragement.

We may apply these words to ourselves in the end of the age. Many believers stand in danger of discarding their former confidence. Under the spell of worldly comforts, activity for Almighty YAHWEH has dwindled to a trickle. The result...YAHshua's return is further delayed. Charging YAHshua with the results of our neglect, we feel justified in reducing our activity still further. We reason that there still remains much probationary time. Under such circumstances confidence cannot easily survive. Confidence of the type that survives discomfort and disappointment is not gained through a mere observing of signs. To be sure, signs form a framework, "When ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors," Mat. 24:33. But knowledge leads to confidence only when it involves the heart.

What does the return of YAHshua mean to You? No doubt, your answer to this question will largely determine both the degree of our confidence and the nature of your activity for our Almighty. It has become customary to speak of the second coming as the end. This, of course, is Scriptural. The ‘end’ is frequently mentioned in YAHWEH'S word. It is the end of grace, of the reign of sin with its incomprehensible suffering and horror. But it is also a beginning, the beginning of a new heaven and a new earth, the beginning of a settled universe, resting everlasting secure in YAHWEH'S love and justice. Too often we emphasize the end when we should emphasize the beginning. If the end is great, the beginning will be greater. That which ends is only temporal. What begins is eternal.

The second coming of YAHshua means many things. It is a homecoming, heart stirring beyond description. WHAT A GATHERING OF THE FAITHFUL THAT WILL BE! During his long and often fear-inspiring journey, the pilgrim’s compass needle unfailingly pointed to the home of the soul. Now his heart is completely satisfied.

YAHshua's return is also a reunion. It was conceived in the heart of our Almighty FATHER YAHWEH, "And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You," Jn. 17:11. "FATHER, I desire that those whom You have given Me, might be with Me where I am, so that they may see My esteem which You have given Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world," v. 24. "I go to prepare a place for you, I shall come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you might be too," Jn. 14:3. These are the words of a loving Savior to His undeserving children. Ever since the tragic events in Eden, YAHWEH has felt the sorrow of separation.

Hosea gives a poignant insight into the heart of our Heavenly FATHER. Our Redeemer cries out, "How could I give you up, Ephrayim? How could I hand you over, Yisrael?" Hos. 11:8. "From the power of the grave I ransom them, from death I redeem them," Hos. 13:14. This is the purpose of His second coming.

Recent amazing scientific discoveries have permitted man to view our planet from space. It appears fearfully isolated. Revelation, of course, has provided us with a vastly different picture. During those original happy days, the Creator walked here and communed with innocent man. Then came the heartbreak of separation. Sin caused it. YAHWEH withdrew Himself, but not for long. He announced the infinitely gracious plan of salvation. True, for centuries thereafter, our earth remained quarantined. However, definite steps were taken to end the chilling isolation, not of the planet, but of the creatures on its surface, "But when the completion of the time came, YAHWEH sent forth His son," Gal. 4:4. YAHshua Who dwells in eternity, who directs the affairs of the worlds throughout infinity, adopted human nature. YAHshua became flesh to share our limitations and our temptations. Then He made the supreme sacrifice. He yielded His life. YAHshua made peace through His blood on Calvary, reconciling all things unto Himself. Because of this unfathomable act, the entire family in heaven and earth is reunited.

Our earth is a small island in space. It hurtles through immensity as it has since its beginning. It will always continue to do so. But a tremendous change will soon take place on its surface. Because the Son of YAHWEH visited it, this planet will be revisited. Spiritual ties have been re-established in and through YAHshua. He will restore this planet to its original position. YAHWEH will do more. Humble and isolated in space, as it appears to us, He will make our earth His dwelling place (Rev. 21:2).

The return of YAHshua in indescribable majesty to our planet is a fitting event to inaugurate the reinstatement of our earth. Early believers thrilled at the prospect. Believers in the 21st. Century should also thrill at the immediate prospect. "YAHWEH is not slow in regard to the promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance," 2 Pet. 3:9.

In the midst of mounting confusion, violence and fear, Advent believers may have confidence, "For yet a little while, He Who is coming shall come and shall not delay," Heb. 10:37. JH

There is a tremendous awakening to the truth about YAHWEH and YAHshua in this country. But that awakening is not necessarily among the general population. The general population falls in the category of Laodicea. Laodicea is a compilation of two words, "Lao" (people) and "dike" (judge or rule). Laodicea can mean two things. It can mean "rulership of the people" or simply another way to say "democracy." (Remember, YAHWEH'S word identifies by name and is also very prophetic.

Laodicea can also be another way to say "people of judgment." Scripture says that judgment must begin at the house of YAHWEH (1 Pet. 4:17). If our nation and much of the so-called free world (especially the U.S., Britain and some of the western European countries) are descendants of ancient Israel (which can be proven to be true), then judgment will fall upon our peoples first. The attack on the World Trade Center can very well be a sign that such is beginning to take place.

Remember that Laodicea is rich and increased with goods, and has need of nothing. (Rev. 3:17) She is also described as neither cold nor hot, but is in a lukewarm condition when it comes to YAHWEH'S word of truth and the truth concerning His beloved and faithful Son YAHshua.

While Laodicea is rich and increased with goods and has need of nothing in the physical realm, she is described as wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked in the spiritual realm. YAHshua counsels her to buy of Him gold tried in the fire, that she may be rich; and white raiment, that she may be clothed, so that the shame of her nakedness may not appear; and to anoint her eyes with eyesalve, that she may be able to see. He admonishes all to be zealous and to repent.

We do not yet see an awakening in the general population of the free world. But we do see an awakening in the prison systems throughout this nation. Yes, many of these men have been offenders of YAHWEH'S law and man’s. While some may even be innocent of the charges that they are serving for, they will all tell you, to a man, that they were not saints when they were free and living in the outside world.

Many have written to me expressing the fact that had they been allowed to continue to live in the outside world, they never would have paid the way of righteousness any attention. But YAHWEH has a way of getting people’s attention and sometimes He gets their attention by having them incarcerated for their sins.

We have spoken to other assemblies lately and the majority of mail that they are receiving and the majority of requests for literature and for baptism is coming from prisons. You would think that people in the outside world would be so thankful for their blessings, for their freedom, etc., that they would love YAHWEH, His truth and His ways wholeheartedly. But it seems that the only way He can get people’s attention is through hardship, troubles, lack or want.

The legacy of the Laodicean spirit is that as long as things are going well, as long as one can work, purchase and possess that is all that is important in this world. So much of the general population is turning away from YAHWEH and His word wholesale. We were told at the Revival about a wedding that was to take place in the British Isles. Even Christianity has faltered to the point that a minister couldn’t be located locally and had to be flown in from a far away place to perform the wedding ceremony. The minister showed up wearing a woman’s brassier!

The news reports concerning many places in Britain is that because of a lack of interest in the faith in the Scriptures (whether Christian or Yahwist) the churches are being closed. This has led to an increase of the pagan Druidic faith. Many people, even in this country, are beginning to speak very favorably concerning the pagan Druidic faith, witchcraft, the eastern religions, Islam, etc. Even our own President has spoken favorably concerning Islam.

The question is, Are we all going to have to go through some kind of incarceration, hardship, trial, period of lack and want in order to have our hearts turned to the living Elohim YAHWEH? Believe it or not, this was prophesied long ago in the works of Moses. We read, "But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook Eloah Which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation," Dt. 32:15.

YAHWEH has tremendously blessed His people according to His own promises, His own word. He doesn’t fail. He is faithful. But we must all realize that man fails, man falls away from the truth, from the right way so easily.

Notice what happens when Israel waxes fat or becomes rich, "They provoked Him (YAHWEH) to jealousy with strange elohim, with abominations provoked they Him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to Eloah; to elohim whom they knew not, to new elohim that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Of the Rock that begat thee thou are unmindful, and hast forgotten El That formed thee. And when YAHWEH saw it, He abhorred them, Because of the provoking of His sons, and of His daughters. And He said, ‘I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is not faith (fidelity)," Dt. 32:16-20.

Such is the description of YAHWEH'S people in every age, especially the end of the age! The spirit of Laodicea is prominent in today’s world. The men in prison are beginning to realize this and to repent and turn to YAHWEH their Elohim, but those on the outside are still so full and have their attention focused on things other than YAHWEH, His truth and His plan of salvation! We must repent while there is time to repent. The time is coming when it will be said, "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still," Rev. 22:11. In other words, the space given for repentance will have come to an end!

We still have a chance to repent today and fulfill YAHWEH'S will and purpose in our lives, but the time is coming when that will no longer be the case! Many of the men in prison are realizing this, but the sad thing is that many on the outside are not. They are too caught up in the everyday cares of this life and this world!

When I go to Tennessee Colony once per month, I have a greater audience of people than I have in the body of believers in the outside world. We will have between 20—30 men in prison, meeting with us while it is difficult to muster more than 5—10 in the outside world. This is a very sad state of affairs.

Another sad state of affairs is the reports that I get from the men in prison themselves. Every place that I go, I am told that they have cried out to various other assemblies for help and for baptism and no others have responded. On Feb. 13, I traveled to the J. V. Alred Unit in Iowa Park, Texas, to baptize a man named Thomas Reynolds. He told me that he had requested baptism from other Sacred Name organizations (one in Texas very near Iowa Park, the other far away in Pennsylvania) and they advised him to come to them for baptism. The problem is that this man is not yet spirit and simply doesn’t have the ability to walk through the prison bars and walls in order to go have this service performed.

Another man in Hamilton, Alabama requested baptism of an organization in Missouri. He was advised that since he had turned and embraced the truth, that would be good enough.

The reports are not all negative, however. I spoke with George Garner of YAHWEH'S Assembly In Messiah (YAIM) the other day and they are making arrangements to visit with and hold Bible Studies and or services with the men in the Moberly Unit there. They are also beginning to hold Bible Studies in another facility in Kansas, I think John Dupus is holding that study. Elder George also informed me that Bob Hopperton will begin holding a monthly meeting in an Ohio facility. HalleluYah!!!

We also received a report from David Salley who is incarcerated in the Potosi facility in Mineral Point, Missouri. Bob Bonderand of YNCA was able to make arrangements to baptize six men in that facility. They are Chris Cowans, Walter Harvey, Derek Holmes, Kenneth McGee, James Naugles, and David Salley. Bob is also cleared to hold at least one Bible Study or service in that facility each month. HalleluYah!!!

We have recently baptized two men in the Tennessee Colony, Texas Coffield Unit (Dec.). They are Kellee Carey and Dennis Crayne. We are in the process of making arrangements to baptize another man in that facility, as well as two men in the Michael Unit of that same area. There are also men in Rosharon, Navasota, Cuero, Beeville, and Amarillo that have requested baptism and we are trying to make arrangements and get these baptisms scheduled as soon as we can. Some of the chaplains and facilities are very easy to work with, but others make things quite difficult. Please pray that YAHWEH will continue to open the doors for us so that we can serve all these men.

I would be remiss if I didn’t also mention another group that is trying to serve these men in prison. They are named Sabbath Keepers Fellowship. Paul and Nancy McEnany and daughter Lisa Henderson are spearheading this group.

They are publishing a monthly newsletter to Sabbath observers. We also want to mention the Assembly of YAHWEH at Holt, Michigan. They have been serving men in prison with Sacred Name Bibles, the Faith Magazine, a pen pal list, and many other things for years. It is our intent to work for the greater purposes of YAHWEH. We will work hand-in-hand with almost any Sacred Name organization to do YAHWEH'S work in these last days. Differences must be overcome and we need to get on with doing the work.

Finally, many of these men have expressed the desire to correspond with those on the outside. We would also like to get involved in establishing a pen-pal list for these men. If you desire to become involved, then please send us your name and address letting us know that you desire involvement and we will see what we can do about getting something started.

Remember that YAHshua said, "Come, ye blessed of My FATHER, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungered, and ye gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in: naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.’ Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, ‘Master, when saw we Thee an hungered, and fed Thee? Or thirsty, and gave Thee drink? When saw we Thee a stranger, and took Thee in? or naked, and clothed Thee? Or when saw we Thee sick, or in prison, and came unto Thee?’ And the King shall answer and say unto them, ‘Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me," Mt. 25:34-39.

Let’s get on with our FATHER'S work and His business while we still have time!

While we do not know the specifics in each and every case, there are some whose condition we do know of and would like to enlist the specifics of their problems here so that your prayers for them can be broken down a little smaller and more specifically.

Brother James Edge slipped and fell on icy steps which dislocated his right shoulder. It has not responded to treatment and his right arm and hand are useless.

Sister Eleanora Edge suffered congestive heart failure in 1990. She has had 3 pacemaker implants and is only able to get around with a cane, a walker or a wheelchair.

Sharri Hodges has recently suffered the loss of her husband and is destitute. She has a 14 year old daughter to raise.

Sister Floy Rynard has recently suffered heart problems.

Thank you for the books and knowledge that you have sent my way. Now, I need a calendar or some guideline of how to get my days and Feasts right. Also, if possible, I’d like to attain the booklet "The Word" that is written by you. I have been deceived and now I know that I’m on the right track. In order to introduce myself to you briefly, I have come to realize that my background has been sadly lacking in understanding the Culture in which YAHshua came and ministered. Since salvation is of the Jews, it has seemed to me that a correct understanding of the scriptures requires far more than I received growing up in a denominational setting. I am presently retired from a university position and am enjoying time to study the Jewish understanding of the Bible.
