A LETTER FROM A PRISONER

There are so many, many things that are happening in today’s world that can and will be disastrous for all of mankind.

One of the principle things that is fermenting into a worldwide conflagration is the events that are taking place in the Middle-East. Jerusalem has become the burdensome stone that YAHWEH'S prophet Zechariah has stated that it would be (Zech. 12:1-3).

Until the time that both Israel and Judah will repent and embrace YAHshua the Messiah as their Savior and King, and come under the true new covenant, there will continue to be troubles upon both of the houses of Israel. Those troubles will only grow worse and worse as time goes by. Oh, there may be some victories and even great ones here and there as what we have been seeing taking place with the Israeli’s attack against the Palestinians and America’s attack against Afghanistan. But YAHWEH'S people can’t continue to turn their backs to Him and expect to continue to receive the great blessings that we have been imbibing in for so long a time.

The hatreds that we see so many nations and peoples exhibit against Israel and America are hatreds that have been smoldering for millennia. The Arabs hate the descendants of Isaac because Isaac’s birth caused Abraham’s birthright and blessings to be passed on to the descendants of Isaac and not Ishmael. The Ishmaelites (Arabs) will always look upon Isaac and his descendants as usurpers.

Then there are the Edomites, the descendants of Esau. The Edomites have always resented and hated the descendants of Jacob because they claim that Jacob not only stole their blessings (Gen. 27), but that he deceived Esau into selling his birthright (Gen. 25:29-34). Of course, YAHWEH sets the record straight in His word, but the problem is that too few people are reading and believing what the Scriptures say in this modern day world.

If you will continue to read our series of articles entitled Who-What Is The Beast?, you will learn that one of the major headquarters of Esau’s descendants in this modern day world is Moscow, Russia. Edom means "red." Moscow, Russia is the center of "Red (Edom) Square" and also the central focal point of the "Red (Edom) Doctrine" called Communism. Esau hates Jacob, which means that Russia not only hates the modern-day nation of Israel, but they also hate and resent America, the descendants of the ancient northern kingdom of Israel.

The struggle between Esau and Jacob began in the womb even before they were born, "And Isaac intreated YAHWEH for his wife, because she was barren: and YAHWEH was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, ‘If it be so, why am I thus?’ And she went to enquire of YAHWEH. And YAHWEH said unto her, ‘Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger," Gen. 25:21-23.

The children, even in the womb, had a spirit of struggle. They didn’t understand what they were struggling for, but there was a spirit there that caused them to struggle to be the firstborn. Esau prevailed and became the firstborn to whom the birthright and blessings would belong, but YAHWEH had already decreed that the older would serve the younger. Generally, what YAHWEH decrees doesn’t matter with man anyway. After all, the carnal mind (natural, physical, fleshly man) is enmity against YAHWEH, it is not subject to YAHWEH'S law nor, indeed can it be (Ro. 8:7).

Neither the Arabs nor the Edomites are willing to accept YAHWEH'S decree concerning Isaac, Israel and Judah. Their intent is to totally eradicate both peoples and exercise their own authority upon the earth.

We have entered or are very close to the times of Jacob’s troubles. Reports reveal that terrorist activity is increasing. Their aim is to totally destroy Judah (the modern day nation of Israel) and Israel (the modern day nation of America).

Terrorist groups are working all over the world for this eventual downfall of the descendants of ancient Israel. These peoples are totally dedicated to this agenda. They will not cease in their efforts until their goals are realized.

Both Israel and America are now on the defensive. Oh, it looks like we are on the offensive and we are to a point, but the conflicts that we are waging are conflicts very similar to that which was waged in Korea and Viet Nam. We will go into an area, fight a battle, achieve what looks like a victory, and then pull back. I say, what looks like a victory because we aren’t really sure how many of the enemy we have killed. For instance, project Anaconda was supposedly waged against around 500—700 Al Queda fighters, but when the dust had settled, the body count was extremely low. As soon as our forces are gone, the enemy comes back in full force.

Israel is also now being forced to fight the same type of conflict. They are no longer allowed to conquer any new lands. They can enter into other so-called territories (Lebanon, Palestinian, etc.) as they have recently done, but the world’s nations and media protest, complain and threaten until they are forced to fall back.

The question is, Who is forcing this type of warfare upon America (Israel) and Israel (Judah)? The answer of course is the United Nations which is basically controlled by Russia and the other socialistic, communistic nations of Europe. This is hypocrisy to the "nth" degree because if we look at the way the Europeans have waged war, when a territory and peoples were conquered, they were annexed into the conquering nation. The only way for the land to be given up was due to an invasion of a superior force.

The next question to ask is just who is it that has generated the world’s most grievous conflicts and wars? Hasn’t it been Europe? The Europeans have been conquerors and warmongers throughout history. True history reveals that outside the Civil War, the new nation of America has attempted to stay out of conflicts with other nations and has generally only entered into war or conflicts when attacked or drawn into them.

The European nations were imperialistic, but when America fought and won battles that we were forced into, then we were labeled as imperialistic by the same nations that employed imperialism. It’s worse than pot calling the kettle black.

The type of conflict forced upon America and Israel in today’s world is very grievous and expensive in lives and dollars. While the military movements and exercises puts a lot of money in many people’s pockets (much of it goes into European Aristocratic and rich men’s pockets), the truth of the matter is that it saps the economic strength of a nation and eventually the will (spirit) of the people.

Remember also the riots and destruction waged in the 60’s during the Viet Nam war? Liberal, pinko college professors stirred up our young people to participate in anti-war, anti-government, anti-American demonstrations and riots. The same liberal professors can and will bring about a repeat performance. The young people are easily indoctrinated with these liberal traitors. I know, I sat in a college class where all the professor did during the whole class was condemn the American government and everything that our country stood for. He was a socialist and hated any kind of free world economy. While he didn’t sway me, I am sure that he did sway many of the younger minds.

The enemy has come among us sowing all kinds of unrest. Remember the social unrest of the late 50’s and the 60’s? Our national motto is "United we stand, divided we fall." The enemy has come among us to sow the seeds of division and it’s working! Yes, the conditions were fertile and ripe for the enemy to do so. The enemy has seen our weaknesses and has and is utilizing those weaknesses to the fullest extent.

The enemy saw racial prejudice and has utilized that racial prejudice and pre-slavery conditions to the fullest extent. Forget the fact that the enemy that sows the seeds of unrest is himself prejudiced. Forget the fact that even in Africa there is prejudice and slavery practiced between blacks of different tribes. Forget about the fact that it was the many different African tribes and the Arabs who sold the American blacks into slavery. The modern day media doesn’t like to focus on these existing conditions because it would pull the teeth from the opportunity to sow civil unrest. Forget about the fact that average black person is far more blessed to be able to be born in the enterprising nation of America rather than the poverty stricken, backward conditions and tribal prejudices that exist on the African continent.

The enemy has not only sown civil unrest, but has also sown unrest in every imaginable area, between sexes, between business and consumer, between corporate heads and laborers, between the government and the people, between civil and religious orders, etc., etc.

But now, we have cells of terrorists sown among us just waiting for the simple message to do their work of destruction that they have been pre-programmed and pre-ordained to do. September 11th revealed this fact.

Of course, we do understand that the government that we see is not the real government behind the scenes, even in America. We also understand that the government is not necessarily working for the best interest of the general public. But such is the situation of all governments in all countries of this present evil age. There are evil spirits in high, heavenly places who very easily manipulate evil men in high places and, of course, the people love to have it so.

There are manifold conspiracies being promulgated all around the world. One of the major conspiracies is found in the book of Psalms, "Keep not Thou silence, O Elohim: hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O El. For, lo, Thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate Thee have lifted up *the head," Psa. 83:1-2.

*Note: this should read "their head." We certainly know that the Moslems are lifting up their head Allah and their prophet Mohammed against YAHWEH'S people, don’t we?

"They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted (conspired) against Thy hidden ones. They have said, ‘Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance," vv. 3-

Look at that! They hate the name Israel! Therefore, their heart is completely set upon eradicating any nation bearing that name. Ever since the tiny nation Israel has existed in these last days, the Arabs and others have been plotting to completely overthrow and destroy it. Such is even written in their constitutions. They will not change their mind.

Even though they may not realize that many of America’s peoples are also descendants of the ancient Israelites, there is still a spirit there that causes them to hate and despise us as a peoples and nation. It’s the same spirit that caused enmity between Ishmael and Isaac and enmity and struggle between Esau and Jacob, even while they were in the womb.

You see, the spirit that causes the enmity and hatred is the spirit of Satan the devil. He absolutely hates YAHWEH and His Son YAHshua. He also hates YAHWEH'S people Judah and Israel. Why? Because Satan wants to exalt himself to the very throne of YAHWEH and he, therefore, must depose YAHWEH and YAHshua. He also realizes that Judah and Israel are to be the rulers of the world to come.

Jacob was named Israel because, "...as a prince hast thou power with Elohim and with men and hast prevailed," Gen. 32:28.

Satan and his people don’t want to be ruled by Israel and Judah. They will pull out all the tricks in their dirty bag that they can to prevent such from becoming a reality. Satan is a great deceiver and has deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9) including the great overall preponderance of YAHWEH'S people Israel and Judah.

The closer we get to the time of the deposal of him, his angels and his people, the worse things are going to get because, "…he knoweth that he hath but a short time," Rev. 12:12 (last part).

But now let’s get to the real reason for Israel’s problems, in the first place. Scripture, the Torah, the Prophets, the Psalms and even the New Testament reveal that YAHWEH'S people Israel and Judah turned away from Him to the deities of the nations around them. They corrupted His covenant, His name and His ways. They also wanted to be like the other nations of the world.

Speaking of Jerusalem and Israel YAHWEH says, "Son of man, say unto her, ‘Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.’ There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. Her priests have violated My law, and have profaned Mine holy things: they put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain (an apt description of America (Israel) and Israel (Judah) today. And her prophets have daubed them with *untempered mortar, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, ‘Thus saith the Sovereign YAHWEH,’ when YAHWEH hath not spoken. The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully. And I sought for a many among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out Mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Sovereign YAHWEH," Ez. 22:24-31

*NOTE: The word "mortar" in the phrase "untempered mortar" is an added word which does not truly belong in the Scripture. "Untempered" is translated from the Hebrew word "taphel" and means "to smear plaster (as gummy) or slime." Figuratively, it means "frivolity!"

YAHWEH'S people are, even today, being covered with a useless "gummy plaster" or even "slime" and are actually led into frivolity by their own prophets and leaders.

The prophet Jeremiah also was led to proclaim, "And YAHWEH said unto me, ‘A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear My words; and they went after other elohim to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken My covenant which I made with their fathers. Therefore thus saith YAHWEH, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto Me, I will not hearken unto them. Then shall the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the elohim unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. For according to the number of thy cities where thy elohim, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have they set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal. Therefore pray not thou for this People, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto Me for their trouble. What hath My beloved to do in Mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? When thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest. YAHWEH called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult He hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. For YAHWEH of hosts, That planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke Me to anger in offering incense unto Baal," Jer. 11:9-17.

Is that conspiracy still going on today among the prophets and leaders? Absolutely!!! Look at what Jeremiah is inspired to write, "Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of YAHWEH, and because of the words of His holiness. For the land of full of adulterers; for because swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right. For both prophet and priest are profane; yes, in My house have I found their wickedness, saith YAHWEH. Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith YAHWEH. And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused My people to err. I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto Me as Sodom; and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah (NOTE: the book of Revelation 11:8 proclaims that the modern-day city of Jerusalem is called Sodom and Egypt.). Therefore thus saith YAHWEH of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land….I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed.’ How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; which think to cause My people to forget My name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their father have forgotten My name for Baal," Jer. 23: 9-15, 25-27.

Not only have the leaders and prophets led the children of Israel and Judah away from YAHWEH into wicked works and the worship of the deities of the nations of the world, but they have also taken away the knowledge and importance of YAHWEH'S wondrous name. Joel (2:32), Peter (Acts 2:21) and Paul (Ro. 10:13) proclaim that YAHWEH is the name of salvation. Judaism has long taken the name YAHWEH out of the mouth of its people, originally substituting the word Adonai (the Lord or My Lord) in its place. Christianity has followed suit by substituting "the Lord" or "God" in places where YAHWEH'S name occurs.

Interestingly, the name/word "Baal" means "Lord". Today’s Jewish people utilize the term "HaShem" (the name) in reference to YAHWEH. This term is not Scriptural at all in reference to His name. The leaders also proclaim that YAHWEH'S name is "ineffable" which is another term not found in all of Scripture. The leaders and false dreamers and prophets of both Israel and Judah are still working their conspiratorial designs, even in today’s world.

YAHWEH says that the leaders of Judah and Israel are like wolves. The prophets (spiritual leaders) are false. As long as falsehood and deceit, as long as Israel and Judah continue to work wickedness there can and will be no peace.

The truth of the matter is that there can be no peace until YAHshua the Messiah, the King of Peace will return to this earth, establish His kingdom in Jerusalem and install His government over all the kingdoms of this world. It will be a restoration of Israel and Judah to their rightful place as the principal rulers of the world with the capital of the world located in the city of Jerusalem.

Of course, there will have to be a change in leadership, both of the civil government and spiritual (religious), as well. While the modern day civil leaders make it look like they have the best interest of the people at heart, their actions speak louder than words. Their own self interests are in their heart.

The same goes for the spiritual leaders. While they make it look like they get their teachings from the Scriptures, it doesn’t take much Scriptural study to overthrow and destroy their false doctrines and teachings. Of course, it’s hazardous to expose the truth about both civil or spiritual arms, but such must be done.

Of course, it will take YAHWEH to intervene in His own people’s affairs to open their eyes to the truth so that they can repent and turn from their wickedness. Until that time there can be no peace. JH

The Passover, and the first two days of Unleavened Bread were observed by YEA in Atlanta, Texas. Brethren from Paris, Detroit, DeKalb, Texarkana, Carthage and Dallas (all Texas locations) were in attendance, along with others from Florien, Louisiana. What a blessing it was to have fellowship with these beloved brethren.

On the third day of Unleavened Bread, Elder Healan traveled to the New Braunfels area to fellowship with the San Antonio brethren who were holding the feast at Sattler, Tx. The brethren truly had a beautiful feast site located near Canyon Lake.

Morning and evening meetings were held daily. There was plenty of spiritual and physical food, with abundant fellowship, dancing to Hebrew music and dance lessons for those who seem to be either all left feet or right feet, whichever case applies.

During that time, on April 1st, Elder Healan was able to travel to the Stevenson Prison Unit at Cuero, Tx., where 5 men were baptized in the saving name of YAHshua. Those baptized were Robert Miller, Jesus Oňate, Apolonio Rameriz, Jose Rosales and Kevin Williams.

What a blessing it was to be able to visit with these men and to learn of their faith and walk in the Messiah! Elder Healan left that meeting with a joy, rejoicing, love and peace that is wondrous to experience, indeed! One other brother, Rudy Trevino, was at the meeting and desired to be baptized also, but due to the chaplain’s insistence, it was put off for a season.

On April 3rd. Elder Healan again was blessed to be able to travel to the Connally Unit in Kenedy, Tx., to meet with and baptize brother Ennis Dewayne Davis.

Brother Davis explained that while he was in the holding facility in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area that he had a vision in which an elderly white man (brother Davis is black) appeared to him, a starry background was behind the man. He informed him that the name of the Creator was YAHWEH and that he should be called Elohim, not God. Brother Davis’ first permanent facility was in Beeville. It was there that he came in contact with a man who had a Yahwist Bible. This certainly helped Brother Davis to become convinced concerning the names. This meeting also was a blessed and happy meeting.

It seems that YAHWEH placed brother Davis in the right facility at the right time, for brother Davis had been on our list of baptism requests for some time, but he was located in Amarillo, Tx., which is quite a distance from Elder Healan’s home in Atlanta, Tx., making it difficult to get the visit and baptism scheduled. But brother Davis was transferred to the Kenedy facility just in the right time making the opportunity more readily available.

Elder Healan had also been scheduled to visit the McConnell Unit in Beeville, Tx., where another 8—9 men have requested baptism, but the chaplain there called the day before the scheduled visit and informed Elder Healan that due to personal problems, he had dropped the ball and had not been able to get all of the necessary clearances taken care of. Thus, another trip will be required to be scheduled shortly in order to take care of these men in the Beeville facility and also the Cuero facility.

Please pray for us, brethren. We have a total of at least 41 names of men in the prison system who have requested baptism. These range in facilities all over Texas, Alabama and Missouri. We are pleased to report that the YAHWEH'S Assembly In Messiah at Rocheport, Mo., is also developing a prison ministry and is willing to go meet with and baptize men in prison, but we get reports from so many, many of the men wherein they state that they have requested other assemblies to come and baptize them to no avail. The harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Your prayers, concern and help are desperately needed.

Not only are the laborers few and far between, but we get all kinds of resistance from the prison system itself. We are so very thankful for the many chaplains who are willing to work with us in order to serve these men, but we do get resistance from some. Of course, the rules and regulations of the system itself, is also a hindrance.

However, many of the men in prison are doing a ministry and work themselves and the truth is being disseminated throughout the system. YAHWEH is truly blessing these men’s efforts and it is our duty to help them as much as we can. The problem is that the demand is far greater than we, as small as we are, can fulfill at this time. Please pray that YAHWEH will provide the laborers needed to work in this great harvest.

We also are so thankful that Sabbath Keepers Fellowship is willing to contribute such a great helping hand to these men and women. HalleluYah!!!!

I was beaten and bludgeoned, at the hands of men,

For it was written to happen, FOR FORGIVENESS OF SIN.

To a hill called Mt. Calvary, I hung upon a tree,

For Salvation to come, these things had to be.

Yes, the blood ran upon me, from a body so pale.

No, I was NOT the Savior….I WAS ONLY HIS NAIL!!!

Well, what about them? I received a 4 page treatise finding fault with them. Do we not think that YAHWEH has the power to get into what is called the Bible (the Separate Scriptures) what IS separate and true? If we are going to carry it around, we had better believe it.

The Apostle Peter indicated the same thing—that Paul’s letters are Scripture in which are some things hard to understand, that those who are unlearned and unstable twist to their own destruction (2 Pt. 3:15-16). YAHshua said, "You do err not knowing the Scriptures, nor the POWER of the Mighty One (Mt. 22:29).

My dad was often a man of few, to the point, words; and I often write that way. Here are a few of his examples:

The occasion: Me learning to ride and balance a bicycle, and falling down some.

Dad: Turn in the direction you are falling.

The occasion: Christmas eve at grandmother’s house, and me hoping for the stocking to be filled.

Dad: There is no Santa Claus.

The occasion: Me in Germany in WWII. Me in a letter: I attended a church service.

Dad answering: Whatever you do, don’t forget the Name of your heavenly FATHER.

The occasion: Early on in my serious study of the Scriptures. Me: I don’t think Paul knew what he was talking about.

Dad: I think PAUL knew what he was talking about.

I don’t recall Dad having to explain any of his admonition in detail. If I had my thinking cap on, I would know, or learn what was necessary with YAHWEH'S Spirit teaching.

As to Paul’s writings, I soon learned through Elder A. N. Dugger’s paper from Jerusalem that there were two laws. One telling us what to do. One telling us what to do when we broke the one telling us what to do.

YAHshua has made the ultimate offering taking care of the second one; so Paul can speak of us not having to do that one—not that he is speaking against the first one—the ten commandments, the main part, or summary of the first one.

We need to keep in mind that the Scriptures we carry around are what YAHWEH gave us to live and learn by; that Paul was a firm believer in the Scriptures that they had in his day (called the Old Testament); that he would not speak contrary to that; that what he and the other New Testament writers wrote, being eye witnesses to facts, is also Scripture; that some of Paul’s writings may be hard to understand at first, but with our thinking caps on, and the Separate Spirit leading us, we can understand them; that knowing Paul believed Scripture, what he wrote would not be contrary, and thus that we need to read the whole context of his statements to get the point of what he is trying to get across, albeit he may not plainly say it or explain it in detail, such as at Gal. 4:10 where he condemns some for believing days, etc. We have to know they were not YAHWEH'S commanded times that he refers to here, but Gentile practices they were going back to (verse 9); that when he says we are not justified by the deeds of the law, he does not mean that we are not to do such as the ten commandments, but that we are not atoned for by so doing; that we must repent and believe in faith that YAHshua died for that; that YAHWEH raised Him from the dead, and we are saved by His life; that we do do the deeds of the law though, because we have repented of breaking it; that Ro. 2:13 does not contradict Ro. 3:20 for this reason; that when he said circumcision is nothing, knowing the Scriptures, of course he knew it was something, but nothing compared to what? (Check all the New Testament references on circumcision); that we need to know what he is talking about in each case, him being a believer of YAHWEH'S word, etc.

On referring to a Scriptural subject of discussion, Elder W. L. Bodine used to say, "What is it talking about?" So instead of going around listing all the points of Paul’s writing that may seem to be contrary to the Word of YAHWEH, and condemning him for causing Christians to have a no-law doctrine, we would best be praying about each point, and asking YAHWEH to help us understand what Paul is talking about, as well as total Scripture. The Divine Sacred name of our FATHER, YAHWEH, is composed of four individual Hebrew letters; h ((hei) w (waw) h (hei) y (yod), which corresponds with our English letters YHWH. (NOTE: Hebrew reads from right to left, while English reads from left to right.) Each individual Hebrew character of the Divine personal name YAHWEH is considered a "DIVINE CHARACTERISTIC" of the FATHER'S name.

The Hebrew word for "MAN" is rendered vya (pronounced "ish"). Notice that the second (middle) letter of this word is the Hebrew y (yod), the same letter that appears in the tetragrammaton (four letter writing) of the FATHER'S Divine Name! This means that "MAN" has a "DIVINE CHARACTERISTIC" of His Creator, our FATHER, YAHWEH.

The Hebrew word for "WOMAN" is rendered hva (pronounced ishah). Notice that this word ALSO contains a "DIVINE CHARACTERISTIC" of our FATHER'S name, YAHWEH, in the third (last) letter of this Hebrew word. The last letter being the h (hei) contained in the FATHER'S name.

When you combine the two "DIVINE ELEMENTS" contained in both these Hebrew words you get hy (yod, hei). When combined the Yod and the Hei create the name "YAH" WHICH IS THE SHORTENED, POETIC FORM OF OUR FATHER’S NAME, YAHWEH...SEE PSA. 68:4! So the combination of a man and woman into a covenantal "marriage" relationship, at least in the BEGINNING, has the "SEAL OF APPROVAL" (so-to-speak), by being stamped with the VERY NAME OF "YAH"! (hy).

But notice what happens if YAHWEH, our Heavenly FATHER, should lose His place among the married couple. If you remove the "DIVINE ELEMENTS" of both Hebrew terms, the one for "MAN" (vya), AND the one for "WOMAN" (hva). By removing the y (yod) from the man, and the h (hei) from the woman, in BOTH instances it leaves you with va. THE COMBINATION OF THESE TWO HEBREW LETTERS FORM THE WORD FOR "FIRE" IN HEBREW!! So, BY REMOVING YAHWEH'S PRESENCE IN A MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP YOU HAVE DESTINED THAT MARRIAGE TO A FIREY DESTRUCTION!! Let us strive to keep FATHER YAHWEH as the head of our individual lives...AND OUR MARRIAGES!

EDITOR’S NOTE: We certainly want to thank brother Dale Whitworth for reminding us of this Hebrew sagacious teaching. While we did run a similar article in a past issue, it is important that we be reminded of these things.

Many false and erroneous teachings concerning marriage have been coming into the assemblies (the body of the Messiah) recently and we need to deal with these issues in this article.

It is now being taught by certain ones that since Moses permitted divorce in the Torah (Dt. 24:1-4), as long as a man or woman gives their mate a bill of divorcement (cepher keriythuwth) to dissolve their marriage, that divorce is honored and approved by YAHWEH. It is stressed that what really displeases YAHWEH is when a bill of divorcement is not given and the marriage is just left hanging (so-to-speak).

One of the major problems that we are facing is the fact that many are now proclaiming that the Torah is the ultimate guide and if anything written in the New Testament is or seems to be contrary to the teachings of the Torah, then the Torah takes precedence which nullifies the New Testament teaching.

Both Peter and Jude warned that there would be those who are pre-ordained to enter into the assembly who would teach destructive, corrupting doctrines. Many have even declared that the writings of Paul are not sound and shouldn’t even be included in the New Testament at all. But Peter warned, "Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things (a new heavens and a new earth), be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Sovereign is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given unto him, hath written unto you; as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction," 2 Pt. 3:14-16.

Notice that! They not only wrest the writings of Paul, but they also wrest the other Scriptures to their own destruction.

The question is, are the Scriptures being wrested and corrupted on this divorce and remarriage to their own and other’s destruction? The answer has to be a resounding, YES, ABSOLUTELY!!!

While Moses was the administrator or mediator of the Old Covenant which was based on the promises of men and YAHWEH, YAHshua is the administrator or mediator of the New Covenant which is based upon YAHWEH'S word alone, "Behold, the days come, saith YAHWEH, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in My covenant, and I regarded them not, saith YAHWEH. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those day, saith YAHWEH; I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a Elohim, and they shall be to Me a people: and they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know YAHWEH:’ for they shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more," Heb. 8:8-12.

Those who want to force the fullness of the Torah upon everyone have not given enough thought to this very promise here, for it does decree a change, does it not? We will do a comparative analysis of the Old and New Covenants in a future article, such is not the purpose here, except to reveal that there is a precedence for change.

We already know that the animal sacrifices are done away through YAHshua's one sacrifice for all time, but we learn from the above Scripture that the New Covenant is based upon YAHWEH'S promise alone. Men’s (Israel’s) promises have been rejected because they were not faithful to their word.

We also know that there is a new mediator, for even though Moses (the mediator of the original covenant) was faithful in almost every detail, we also know that he failed when he was commanded to take his rod and to stand before the rock and simply speak to it so that the waters could come forth. In his anger and impatience with the people, he struck the rock twice with his rod, contrary to YAHWEH'S command (Num. 20:7-13).

Moses (the representative of the law [and covenant] of Moses) failed in unbelief according to YAHWEH'S own words which also brought about the failure to sanctify YAHWEH in the eyes of the people (Num. 20:12).

But this situation was also a wondrous type. It should bring into the mind of the true believer that no manner of Torah observance will bring about forgiveness of sins and deliverance from death. Nor can we earn eternal life through the strictest Torah observance.

Yes, we do uphold YAHWEH'S law, the ten commandments. Yes, we do uphold many of the commands and principles of the Torah because they are good for us and are for cleanness and health. But without the mediator of the New Covenant, YAHshua the Messiah, no manner of Torah observance can save us. Besides, there are other factors which are also involved (order our articles entitled Is The Law Done Away? and A Most Deadly Sin for greater clarification).

As stated, YAHshua is the mediator of the new covenant as well as being the great High Priest. What did He say about marriage and divorce? "The Pharisees also came unto Him, tempting Him, and saying unto Him, ‘Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?’ And He answered and said unto them, ‘Have ye not read, that He Which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?’ Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore YAHWEH hath joined together, let not man put asunder.’ They say unto Him, ‘Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?’ He saith unto them, ‘Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication (Gk. = porneia = sex sins), and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.’ His disciples say unto Him, ‘If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.’ But He said unto them, ‘All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, which are so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which are made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it," Mt. 19:3-12.

Notice that YAHshua was asked why Moses allowed them to give the bill of divorcement and put the wife away. This destroys the argument of those who proclaim that divorce is allowed as long as the bill of divorcement (cepher keriythuwth) is given. YAHshua followed their question concerning the bill of divorcement with, "And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication (Gk. = porneia = sex sins), and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery."

Paul also writes, "Know ye not, brethren (for I speak to them that know the law), how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? For the woman who hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he liveth," Ro. 7:1-2. "The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth," 1 Cor. 7:39 (first part).

The father, mother and children comprise what is called the "nuclear family." What happens when atomic particles, which are bound by nuclear forces, are broken up? In an uncontrolled environment a tremendous explosion occurs which is devastating to a large area. Even long after the explosion is over the area affected remains "hot" and polluted with deadly radioactivity which can endure to tens of thousands of years.

Even when atoms are split in a controlled environment the resultant radioactivity and its waste is harmful and deadly for thousands of years. Man has tapped into an energy that he really does not know what to do with.

The break-up of the nuclear family is no less devastating on the people’s lives involved. Husband and wife suffer traumatically and the children even more. The consequences are obvious as all studies indicate.

YAHWEH has put the atomic and nuclear structure together. Man should not be breaking it asunder. YAHWEH has brought the man and woman together in a nuclear family. Man should not be breaking it asunder. The disaster in both areas is quite obvious for all to see.

YAHshua said, "What therefore YAHWEH hath joined together, let not man put asunder." Hearkening back to the Hebrew wisdom that Brother Dale shared with us, when a man (vya) and woman (hva) are brought together in marriage, the Creator YAHWEH (hy) is in that marriage. It is interesting that the two Hebrew letters that remain in each word produces the Hebrew word fire (av). Fire (av) can represent zeal. A newly wed couple truly have a fiery zeal or passion and love for each other. This is good in YAHWEH'S sight for He created man male and female so that they could become one flesh. That love and passion for each other has to be maintained. In too many cases the love and passion that the man and woman have for each other is allowed to cool down, eventually becoming cold. But then another kind of fire can take over. The fire of hatred and resentment can flame up. This can lead to fiery arguments. YAHWEH (hy) is being taken out of the marriage. Adultery or other types of sex sins are usually the result. Whoever breaks up that marriage is not only destroying that marriage, but is also working against and breaking up the very name of the Creator! That’s why the Hebrew word av (esh/fire) is left. The marriage covenant that binds the man and woman together is unlawfully broken, coming to a fiery end.

We know that there are many other religions that allow men to have more than one wife. Sadly, there are some who have entered into the body of the Messiah lately who are justifying such a lifestyle. But again, YAHshua, our High Priest and Mediator said, "Have ye not read, that He Which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh."

Notice that! He only made one man and one woman in the beginning. He also said that a man should cleave to his wife and they twain shall be one flesh. For those who can’t seem to understand mathematics, "twain" means "two," not three or more. The only way a marriage should become three or more is through the process of gendering children.

Some have asked about the situation with Abraham, Sarah and Hagar, and what about Jacob with his two wives and two concubines, and David and Solomon with all their wives and concubines. They had more than one woman and YAHWEH seemingly didn’t condemn them for it.

Even though Abraham was YAHWEH'S friend and was righteous, he made a grievous mistake when he went into Hagar. He sired a child that he thought would become his heir and so did the child. But the child of promise was Isaac, not Ishmael. Ishmael hated Isaac and had to be cast out of his father’s house because had he remained, he surely would have slain the child. The world is still suffering from the hatred and jealousy that the descendants of Ishmael have for the children of Isaac.

Jacob took two wives, but each was vying for his favor over the other. Since Rachel’s womb hadn’t been opened, she gave him her handmaid to bear children for her and therefore, find favor in his eyes. Then Leah became jealous and gave him her handmaid so she could find more favor. The struggle between the two didn’t cease until Rachel died in childbirth. But even then, there was strife and jealousy among the children.

Look at the problems David suffered with his many wives and children even though he was a man after YAHWEH'S heart. Then, his son Solomon outdid them all with 700 wives and 300 concubines. The sad thing is that his many wives turned his heart away from YAHWEH to the destructive practice of idolatry.

The old adage, "Two’s company, three’s a crowd" certainly applies in marriage. When there is more than one woman in a marriage, there is jealousy. Each woman wants to be the most favored over the others. Each will struggle to get the upper hand over the others. A man can’t help but show favoritism which leads to problems.

Even though YAHWEH did provide for more than one marriage in the Torah (He knew what is on the heart of most men and women), under the New Covenant, YAHshua only made provision for a marriage consisting of one man and one woman. Read it for yourselves and believe and follow your own Mediator and High Priest, YAHshua.

While it is true that the Torah written by Moses permitted divorce, why was such allowed? Again, YAHshua gives us the answer, "Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so."

It was due to the hardness of the heart that Israel had under the first covenant. The Greek word employed for "hardness of the heart" is "sklerokardia." Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance defines it thusly; feminine of a compound of 4642 and 2588; hard-heartedness, i.e. (specially), destitution of (spiritual) perception.

Look at that! It not only means "hard-heartedness", but it also means "destitution of perception, especially spiritual perception!"

The people under the Old Covenant were carnal! They had the covenant that existed at that time and age, but it all had to do with physical, outward, fleshly things. Things that man could do and see with their hands. They had fleshly circumcision, but their hearts weren’t circumcised, "And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, ‘Ye have seen all that YAHWEH did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; the great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles: yet YAHWEH hat not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day," Dt. 29:2-3.

YAHshua was telling those of His day that their hearts were still hardened and because of the hardness of their hearts and lack of ability to have spiritual discernment and understanding, they were allowed to even divorce their wives, but under the New Covenant, YAHWEH'S people are not supposed to have a hardened (uncircumcised) heart! We are supposed to have that special love that YAHshua had for each one of us, for He loved us so much that He gladly laid down His life for us. If we can’t exercise that love in our marriages and families, how can we exercise that love toward one another in the assembly, the body of the Messiah?

After all, the husband is the head of the family as YAHshua is the head of the assembly. YAHshua sacrificed Himself for His bride, the assembly, even when she was yet His enemy. Husbands should love their wives to the point of being willing to die for them for the husband is a type of the Savior. Do we men get that? Are we willing to put our lives, our passions, our fleshly desires on the line for our brides in spite of the way they treat us from time to time? We had better think of this walk that we have been called to before we embark on that walk because it is a walk of sacrifice!

The justification for divorce comes from Dt. 24, "When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house," verse 1.

Notice the word "uncleanness." It is translated from the Hebrew word "ervah" and is defined as, nudity, literally (especially the pudenda) or figuratively (disgrace, blemish). This word has been utilized in the Scriptures about 40 times. Out of those 40 times, only once was it translated as "unclean" (Dt. 23:14), once "uncleanness" (Dt. 24:1), and once as "shame" (Isa. 20:4). All other times it was translated as "nakedness."

What would this mean? It means that in Dt. 24:1, the more correct word would have been "nakedness," which would be in reference to fornication (premarital sex), or adultery (sex outside of marriage), or lesbianism, or beastiality, etc.

This would, therefore, clarify YAHshua's words for He was asked if a man could divorce his wife for every cause and He responded with, "Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication (Gk. = porneia = sex sins), and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery." Therefore, according to YAHshua's own words, the only permissible reason for divorce and remarriage is sex sins.

What about other infractions? What if the man (or woman) is abusive or a drunk, or can’t show love or any other reason? The answer can only be according to the Scriptures and the word of the Savior who is our Mediator and Heavenly High Priest, and that answer is that sex sins are the only reason.

I know that this sounds hard and it can be very difficult on many people (both men and women). In writing what has been written here, are we making it too difficult on certain people? We can only teach what we find in the Old and New Testaments. Even Paul writes that a woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. This can put undue pressure on many people’s lives, but YAHshua said, "All cannot receive this saying, save to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, which are so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which are made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."

We never want to cause undue pain, grief, stress and/or suffering on anyone, but we must be upfront and truthful concerning what YAHWEH'S word says. This world is an evil world that is full of deceit. It is a world that brings undue pain, grief, stress and suffering on everyone. YAHWEH made a world that was good and free from suffering, but because of the rebellion and disobedience of the first man and woman (under the influence of the serpent Satan), their own actions have brought that undue pain, grief, stress and suffering upon all their progeny and the whole creation itself. YAHWEH and YAHshua are working to restore the creation to its original goodness and purity. That job won’t be complete until they have destroyed the devil and his angels and rendered their just judgment where and upon whom it belongs. Therefore, our ruling must fall in line with YAHshua's and His ruling is that a men (or woman) cannot legally divorce and remarry unless sex sins have been committed by the other partner.

If a man or woman is in a situation where abuse, danger and threat to life, etc., exists, they are certainly not required to continue living in that situation, they can separate, but for the true believer, divorce and remarriage is out of the question unless or until the offending party has committed the offence that justifies divorce (sex sins).

We know that this makes it extremely difficult on some people, but the Scriptures are clear and the words of YAHshua are very clear. Let those who can receive it, receive it.

Some are also moving in together, having sexual relations and proclaiming that they are married. They may go so far as to privately exchange vows. Are these people really married? Shouldn’t there be a wedding ceremony where vows are exchanged in front of witnesses?

In almost all societies, marriage through a wedding ceremony in front of witnesses and attendees is very important. In Judaism, Christianity, Islam and other pagan societies, wedding ceremonies are very important. They are even important in the assemblies.

Does YAHWEH expect a wedding ceremony in front of witnesses? One of the first things that we see YAHshua doing in the Scriptures, even before He began His ministry, was attend a wedding ceremony (Jn. 2).

The Heavenly FATHER is preparing a wedding (marriage feast) for His Beloved Son (Mt. 22; 25, Rev. 19). Are we not to live by YAHWEH'S example? Didn’t YAHWEH create the earth in six days, resting on the seventh? Don’t we try to follow His example of working six days, but resting on the seventh day Sabbath? Isn’t YAHWEH righteous and don’t we try to follow in the ways of righteousness?

If YAHWEH is righteous, and He is preparing a marriage feast for His Son and His bride, shouldn’t we follow His example in our own lives?

The fact of the matter is that formerly in our society, for a couple just to move in and live with each other was a terrible shame. The Hippie culture of the 60’s with its "free sex" attitude changed all of that. This group made a sham of marriage and the family. Now we have certain ones even in the body of the Messiah declaring that the Hippie culture and its shameful practice is good, while the traditional wedding ceremony is not.

We know the spirit and attitude of the world today. The world wants to present homosexuality as an acceptable alternative lifestyle. While this may be acceptable to those who are carnally minded, both Old and New Testaments condemn such practice as abominable. Moses wrote, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination," Lev. 18:20.

The Apostle Paul wrote, "Because that when they knew YAHWEH, they glorified Him not as Elohim, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible Elohim into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore YAHWEH also gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themseves: who changed the truth of YAHWEH into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, Who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause YAHWEH gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet," Ro. 1: 21-27.

Look at the words that are associated with homosexuality which is a result of man’s denial of YAHWEH and His righteous law: abomination, uncleanness, lust of their own hearts, dishonour, vile affections, against nature, that which is unseemly and error.

Those who readily practice and accept homosexuality in today’s world may profess themselves to be wise but, according to Paul, they are fools. Any who withstand homosexuality are labeled as "homophobic" and are vehemently criticized in today’s world. They have conveniently forgotten the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah during Abraham’s day because of this grievous sin. We learn from Scripture that to be "homophobic" is good, but we learn from the so-called wise of this world that to be "homophobic" is dreadfully evil. One can possibly even be sent to prison for resisting homosexuality.

How blind the world has become to embrace such a "deadly" practice as acceptable. YAHWEH made man male and female for the purpose of reproduction and the building of families. In the natural world, two men can’t bear children, nor can two women. Thus, the pattern of reproduction and replenishing the earth is ended when homosexuality is embraced. Families and family names can and will perish if this deadly sin continues. Again, we see man working destruction, because YAHWEH won’t idly sit by and watch His creation come to total destruction. He will intervene and send His fiery destruction upon the destroyers of the earth, saving those for His purposes who continue to preserve it.

Since YAHWEH (hy) created man male (vya) and female (hva) for the purpose of marriage, sexual relationship and bringing forth children, to promote homosexuality is breaking asunder what YAHWEH has brought together. YAHWEH (hy) has been taken out of the relationship and what remains is the fire (va) of destruction.

We encourage those of the body of the Messiah to strengthen their marriages and glorify YAHWEH in doing so. We also encourage those involved in the practices we have discussed to REPENT! and embrace the paths of righteousness, pleasing YAHWEH in your walk, or you may be facing the fire of judgment which will be poured out on the adversaries. These are the lines of the United Nation’s song taught by our social studies teacher to us when I was in grade five. Its message induces us to believe that in this world of chaos, there is a hope of humanity through the founding of the United Nation’s Organization (UNO). Many world leaders believed that after the foundation of this world’s organization, wars could be prevented and nations in this world would be able to live peacefully with one another, but since the creation of the United Nations, wars are still breaking out all over the world.

Man wanted to form a unified world government to control the nations by imposing its laws in order to avoid the devastation of wars, but human effort has failed. Lasting peace can not be obtained by trusting in manmade plans because neither man nor his government is perfect. Since man has rebelled against his Creator, he has organized his own governments. Now he is seeking to organize a one world government to control the many national governments. The rulership of heaven has been rejected. Man is ruling himself according to his own will, not in accordance with the will of His Creator.

The popular system of man’s organized government today is called democracy. The word "democracy" is derived from two Greek words "demos" which means people and "crasus" which means government. This type of government, supposedly is of the people, by the people and for the people. In this system, it is the people who choose their leaders and the choice of the majority must be followed, but is the majority always right?

YAHshua said, "Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go thereat," (Mt. 7:13, Holy Name Bible). The many (the majority) walk in the broad way which is wrong because it leads to sure destruction. It is only the few who walk in the narrow way that leads to life (read Mat. 7:14). It is very obvious that the Bible says the majority choose the wrong way which leads to misery, so the verdict that the decisions of the many should be followed is against the teachings of our Saviour Who proclaims the way to the eternal kingdom.

Hoping and trusting in man’s organized government will just bring us more miseries and strifes. Its consequences will be a curse on us. The Holy Scriptures say, "Thus saith YAHWEH: Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from YAHWEH," Jer. 17:5. Almighty Heavenly FATHER YAHWEH evidently says that those who trust in man and depart from Him will be accursed. Damnation will be upon those who rely on human hands and forsake the way of the Most High. Man plans his own way of governing himself. That is why YAHWEH sends different forms of disasters to the nations of this world, to punish mankind for departing from His way. War is one of the disasters that has plagued the human race since man has wanted to rule himself by organizing his own governmen (-s) in his own way. Since there is no perfect human government on earth today, humanity will never truly be able to establish a government that can grant a real lasting peace and happiness to its people.

The human heart is greedy for power and fame because when power to govern and popularity are obtained, one can acquire great wealth and homage from the people. Many politicians around the world are slain due to the struggle for rulership. If a politician can not defeat his opponent in a matter of popularity, he feels that he must defeat him by bullets. That is why violence breaks out sometimes when various nations are choosing governmental leaders. There are those who, due to their greed for power, form conspiratorial groups, rising up with arms against the ones in power to overthrow them so that they can replace them and gain the fame and glory for themselves.

So many of the governments of the world’s nations fall by coup d’etat or by popular uprisings of the people who are not contented and happy with the government rulers because of the failure to grant a cozy or better way of life to every citizen. While man’s governments rise and fall, there is yet a government soon to be reckoned with which is reigned over by a Heavenly Monarch which will never fall and will never fail to fulfill its promise to grant a much better life to every citizen. It is the eternal government of YAHWEH which is the only hope of mankind. The Scriptures say, "And in the days of these kings shall the Eloah of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever," Dan. 2:44.

When our King YAHshua reigns in the Kingdom of YAHWEH someday (and it is now at hand) there will be a lasting peace and wars will be no more as it is written in the Holy Scriptures, "And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plough-shares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up sword

against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore," Isa. 2:4.

There will be a lasting love in the glorious and beautiful Kingdom to be controlled by the eternal government of YAHWEH and everlasting happiness will be enjoyed by the people who are worthy to live there as it is promised by our Saviour, "And YAHWEH shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things are passed away," Rev. 21:4.

How sweet to live under a government that can really fulfill its promise to grant a better life to all of its citizens. A life of real and everlasting happiness will be enjoyed by the righteous people who will live in a kingdom under the control of the government of YAHWEH. There in that beautiful kingdom, government failures will be no more. Social injustice, corruption of leaders and oppression will not be heard of anymore under the perfect and righteous government that will soon come.

The hope of living forever in a kingdom of eternal peace, happiness and real justice is not just a dream. It is a sure and a blessed hope for the chosen few who believe, trust and obey YAHWEH'S word.

Like any other government, YAHWEH'S government, of course, also has several laws to be kept by its subjects. But those laws aren’t made by man, they are formed and framed according to the will of YAHWEH because He is the framer of the fundamental laws of His Kingdom.

Some of the laws to be kept under YAHWEH'S eternal government are the ten commandments which were written by the Creator's own hand in a couple of stone tablets (Ex. 20:3-17). These laws were not done away nor destroyed according to what our Savior YAHshua said, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to stablish," Mt. 5:17, Holy Name Bible.

The first three of the ten commandments prohibit man to have other objects of worship than YAHWEH and His holy Name to whom should be given great honor and reverence (Ex. 20:3-7). But the great deceiver had deceived the whole world and many people worship the pagan idols rather than the true Creator of the heavens and earth. The great deceiver has exchanged the holy Name of our Heavenly FATHER with the names of the deities of the nations. Uninspired bible translations are the vessels of the devil to bring the holy Names of YAHWEH (our Heavenly FATHER) and YAHshua (our Savior) to naught by substituting them with the fictitious names of pagan idols. The great enemy of the eternal government of YAHWEH'S kingdom broadcasts the seeds of rebellion and disobedience in the hearts of many people in this world so that, if possible, no one would be qualified to enter into the kingdom ruled by the Heavenly King.

What must we do to be qualified in YAHWEH'S kingdom? YAHshua our Savior and King told us, "Not everyone that saith unto Me, Rabbi, Rabbi, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My FATHER which is in heaven," Mt. 7:21. We know that it is the will of YAHWEH for us to serve Him by obeying all the laws of His soon coming eternal government. Even though we keep many of His laws and yet we offend in a single point, we would not be qualified to enter into His kingdom according to what James wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and ye offend in one point, he is guilty of all," Jas. 2:10. A guilty person is a sinner who disobeys the will of the Heavenly FATHER and no one who continually and purposefully disobeys the will of YAHWEH can enter into the kingdom of heaven (We must repent of our sins).

The laws to be kept are not far from us. It is already written in the Holy Scriptures. In Dt. 30:11-14 YAHWEH says, "For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it. Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us that we may hear it and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it."

The eternal government with its lasting peace and true justice is at hand. It is in YAHWEH'S glorious kingdom whose King is YAHshua. He will reign forever. Anyone who desires to live in that kingdom must repent and obey the laws of YAHWEH'S eternal government which is the only hope of humanity. YAHWEH doesn’t leave us hopeless nor helpless. When we are called, repent of our sins and are baptized in the name of YAHshua the Messiah, He gives us the Holy Spirit to help us in our new walk in Him.

Brethren, do you believe in the secret rapture?

If you do, then you are being deceived. Time and time again, our Master warned us, for we read in just one of the many versed, this one written by Matthew in 24:4—KJV thoughout—who tells us what our Master said in His own words: "Take heed that no man deceive you."

Do we understand these words?

We must understand that Scripture is written for us for Paul tells us in 1 Cor. 10:11, "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples; and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come." Do we understand those words?

Paul also tells us in 2 Thes. 2:7, "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way."

Now we must ask ourselves, what is this mystery of iniquity?

This next quote is from a book that I am presently reading and I would highly recommend it to all who are being deceived by the lie of the secret rapture. If your pastor is teaching it, I suggest that you run, not walk, to the nearest exit and throw yourself on the Rock, YAHshua Ha Mashiach, for your peace and safety. Please read Psa. 118:8 & 9 to find out why.

Anyway, this book is entitled The Mystery of Iniquity: The Legal Prerequisites to the Return of the Messiah. It is written by Michael John Rood and can be ordered by sending $20.00 which covers shipping to: New Moon Publishing, P.O. Box 402, Two Harbors, MN 55616.

One note. I am not in the business of selling books, nor do I receive any compensation. I am recommending this book because it truthfully and intelligently addresses the massive deception that has infiltrated the mainstream organized religions now headed by the state and not our true Head, YAHshua Ha Machiach.

You read right. If your organization is 501(c)3, the head of that body (corporation) is the state. It is imperative that we truly understand the WORDS of our Master in Rev. 18:4 which reads, "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues."

We have to ask ourselves...Who is her? The way I understand it is this: there are two women in the end time scenario. One is the harlot and the other is the Bride. The Bride is Israel.

Yes, the middle wall of partition has been broken down but there were those who deemed it to their own advantage to put it back up again!!! And that wall defines the harlot.

Study Ro. 9, 10, 11, and Eph. 2, 3:1-12. Also, compare Rev. 12 (the Bride Israel) with Rev. 17 & 18 (the harlot).

Getting back to the quote on page 5, "The mystery of iniquity will play a big part in your life in the next few years. Unfortunately, the mystery of iniquity has been ignored, or redefined and neutered of its significance. It is uncomfortable to consider its impact on the way we should live in these last days. The redefinition of this section of scripture pertaining to the mystery of iniquity was offered as part of the well-received ‘peace, safety, and prosperity gospel’ that caught on at the onset of the Industrial Revolution. The outgrowth of this redefinition, and resultant doctrinal error, has become part of the strong delusion to which both [YAHshua] and Paul prophesied. The warnings we see in [Elohim's] word are clear. If [Elohim's] people continue to ignore these warnings, He will allow those who love comfort more than truth to walk straight into the snare that has been set for them."

Also on page 5, "The mystery of iniquity entails Satan’s legal authority as god of this age. If a person’s mind is blinded by Satan, he is unable to see even the obvious truths of life; much less so the conflicts of power in the spiritual real and the deep mysteries of [Elohim]."

Dear reader, if you want the unvarnished truth, read Scripture. And for a sound refutation of the secret rapture lie, I recommend this book.

EDITOR’S NOTE: We have noticed that Sister Anne has replaced certain words evidently utilized by Mr. Rood, such as [YAHshua] and [Elohim]. To us, this means that Mr. Rood is still employing false names and titles in reference to the Savior and our Heavenly FATHER. THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY
(What is it?)

In chapter two of the second epistle of Paul to the Thessalonians we read of a man of sin and the mystery of iniquity. What does mystery of iniquity mean?

On checking various translations and the Greek words from which the translations were made, we find that sin means lawlessness; and iniquity means lawlessness or illegality. The Greek word for mystery here is in a sense of something secretive. The Scriptures translation has "secret of lawlessness."

Verse seven indicates that the secret of lawlessness was already at work when the epistle was written about 54 C.E. The context speaks of sin or lawlessness. Remember, sin is lawlessness, 1 Jn. 3:4. Just what is the secret of lawlessness?

When the Messiah, YAHshua, was here on earth He taught and kept His FATHER'S commandments. He also revealed and made known His FATHER'S name to men (Jn. 17:6 & 26). But as time went on, compromise was made with the heathen. Churchianity today contains heathen practices; and priests have done violence to YAHWEH'S law (Ez. 22:26). Many ministers today even say we can’t keep the commandments. Thereby they are hiding the importance of law keeping that the Scriptures teach. Here are some examples:

1. It is kept secret that not observing the Scriptural Sabbath on the seventh day of the week (Saturday) is a major sin, breaking the fourth of the royal ten commandment law (Ex. 20:8-11; Mt. 28:1).

2. John 3:16 is emphasized about being saved by believing in the only begotten Son of the Almighty One; but the condemnation of not believing in His true Name (verse 18) is kept a secret. Darkness is loved, evil is done, not doing truth (verses 19-21). It is kept too secret that if we REALLY believe in the Son (YAHshua), we will do what He said, Lk. 6:27 & 49 and that He indicated keeping His FATHER'S commandments concerning everlasting life (Mt. 19:17-19).

3. Love of the Almighty and neighbor is emphasized (Mt. 22:37 & 38); but the importance of the fact that ALL the law is yet here hanging on these two commands, is kept secret (verse 40), as is the fact that love of the Almighty One is keeping His commandments (1 Jn. 5:3). YAHshua indicated that He did not come to destroy the law (Mt. 5:17).

4. Legalism is condemned. This leaves illegality. YAHshua will one day say, "Depart from me, you that work illegality" (or practice lawlessness), Mt. 7:23. This is kept secret.

5. "We’re all sinners" is emphasized. Yes, we’ve all violated the law; but we are to repent of that. Kept secret is the fact of the importance of working at not sinning after repentance, being righteous; and that the righteous are scarcely (or hardly) saved (1 Pt. 4:18), and that works are important (Ro. 2:13).

6. It is kept secret that Ro. 3:20 does not mean that law keeping is not important; but means just that our sins cannot be atoned for by our merely obeying, or beginning to obey the law. We must believe YAHshua died for that.

7. "We’re under grace" (favour) is emphasized, implying that we don’t need to be too concerned about law keeping. What this really means is a secret. Suppose one commits a sin (illegality) such as stealing or murder, and by the authorities is sentenced to a term in jail as the penalty. He is freed after serving the term, and is then under the grace (favour) of the authorities not to be committing the crime anymore. If he does, he’s back in jail. So too with YAHWEH'S law. The penalty for the offense is death, Ro. 6:23); but YAHshua paid the penalty for us. As a free gift we may have life. We are under YAH'S favour not to be continuing in sin. If we do, we are again under the death penalty. At 1 Jn. 2:1 the Word indicates to not sin; but if we do, we have an intercessor with the FATHER, YAHshua the Messiah, the Righteous. However, if we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, YAHshua's offering does not remain (Heb. 10:26) - such as breaking the Sabbath every week, for example.

Thankfully one day the man of lawlessness will be revealed and rendered entirely idle by the manifestation of YAHshua's coming, 2 Thes. 2:8. There will be no more secret about what YAHWEH'S law has to do with our salvation. There will be no more mystery about lawlessness. YAHWEH be praised. GK

NOTE: Our King James version also keeps lawlessness somewhat of a secret where the word "iniquity" is used instead at Mat. 7:23, 13:41 and 2 Thes. 2:7. Rotherham, The Scriptures, and New American Standard versions have corrected this. And prefaces often show that the true name of the FATHER has been left out of the text, as also is the Son's name.

The Monroe Blue Grass Festival Park is located near Texarkana in the heart of the piney woods of east Texas. There are plenty of facilities for RV’s, campers and tents. It’s hard to believe that two months have already expired on this year’s sacred calendar. In only 4-1/2 months, we will be observing the Feast of Tabernacles. Make your plans now to come Feast, worship and praise with us.

We have also spoken to Daniel Marshall (he and his wife Regina are the ones who made the Sing O Zion! CD and tapes), he and Regina are considering tabernacling with us this year. If they do, we will have Hebrew dance classes on a regular basis. Many of you already know about their beautiful singing voices. You will be able to meet them in person and will also learn how to serve and worship YAHWEH in dance.

Start making your plans now, and make those plans to Feast with us this year! We hope to see you here!

As many of you know, not long after we began this current ministry, we were offered the opportunity to embark on a radio ministry. At one time, we were on as many as 7 radio stations. But the expenses for broadcasting on radio can be enormous, much more enormous than our fledgling income can afford.

While it was fruitful and productive for a while, the stations eventually went up on our prices to the point that we could no longer justify spending the money to continue the venture. We eventually suspended all radio broadcasts.

Recently, we had an opportunity to broadcast on a station right here in Atlanta, Texas. The rates were reasonable and we were getting some responses to our program. Then Jimmy Swaggart ministries bought out the radio station and suspended our contract.

Sometime ago we were offered the opportunity to begin broadcasting on the Wilkins Communications Network. They offered us a two for the price of one deal and we couldn’t resist. The rates are reasonable as long as we are able to broadcast on two stations.

We began broadcasting on the Wilkins Network on the last week-end in April. We are on Station WLMR (Chattanooga, TN) Sabbath morning at 10:30-11:00 a.m. Sunday morning we air on WELP (Greenville, SC) at 1:00-1:30 p.m.

Please pray with us that these programs will truly reach out and touch the lives of many in these areas. Please also pray that YAHWEH will give us the Spirit to lift up the voice and cry aloud the truth and the words that the people need to hear in order to begin changing their lives and preparing for these end times.

There was a little boy with a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, to hammer a nail in the back fence.

The first day the boy had driven thirty-seven nails into the fence. Then it gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one."

Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their hearts to us.

You will soon be receiving a sample copy of our proposed World Events In The News Newsletter. Yes, I know the complaints that it is so difficult to get around to reading the YEA Newsletter because it consists of 26 pages jam-packed with articles, etc. But this newsletter is actually dedicated to news of events taking place in the assembly (-ies) as well as articles related to the Scriptures. If we have room left for news items of important events taking place around the world, we usually will set aside a section for those matters. However, in so many cases those news items have to be cut extremely short.

There are so many, many things going on around the world that we need to be informed of which are or will have great effects and influences on our lives. There are things going on behind the scenes that the primary news media generally refuses to publish because they like to focus on the spectacular.

Some of those things are purposely squelched because the higher powers don’t want these news items to go out to the general public.

Things have and are happening in order to nullify the U.S. Constitution which, as you know, has already been greatly eroded.

Are you hearing about the real truth concerning genetic engineering from our seed that we plant, to the animals that we eat for food, to our own bodies and our own human reproduction? Did you know that there is currently a huge land grab by the United Nations for our own U.S. properties? Another land grab is also going on for water rights, which are expected to be as important and big as mineral rights. What about what is really going on in the Middle-East and other areas of the world?

We try to focus on these things as well as many, many others, but our space is so limited and so much has to be neglected.

The Savior YAHshua told us to "WATCH" for the events that would ring in the end of the age. So many manifold things are going on in the news that is proving on a daily basis that the end of the age has come upon us.

Should we allow these things to cause us to greatly fear? Should we turn our backs on these things and hide our heads in the sand like the ostrich? Absolutely not! We need to be able to detect the signs of the coming of the end of the age and get ourselves prepared for it so that we can hopefully stand before the Ruler of the real New World Order that is soon to appear. (YAHWEH'S Kingdom)

The Scriptures reveal that all the tribes of the earth will mourn when they see the sign of YAHshua's coming. They further reveal that all men great and small, rich and poor, free and enslaved will flee and seek to hide from His presence. What about you?

My name is C…. R. A……, #…… Today I attended my first Assemblies of YAHWEH service (Coffield Unit). I wish to clear a matter which means a great deal to me. I was erroneously introduced as, "a new brother in YAHWEH."

I was born and raised a Lutheran. As a child I was taught all the Christian beliefs, traditions, customs, etc. Being from the melting pot of the world (New York), and curious by nature, at age seventeen I seriously looked into other religions. For three-plus years I earnestly attended services (studies in synagogues, mosques and a multitude of other "off" religions). I also attended all the other Christian services/ studies. To me, all religions taught the same essential message: love others as you love yourself, the "Golden Rule," etc. Cool. By the time I entered the Air Force (at twenty-one) I reverted to Lutheranism.

All my life I’ve never felt truly fulfilled with any religion or faith. Yet I am a spiritual man. So I trekked forward, adhering to my Lutheran upbringing. At age thirty-five I was incarcerated.

I am a multiple addict. I’ve got serious problems with an obsessive, compulsive personality. Twelve years ago, I came to Coffield. I attempt to overcome my daily obsessions—to no avail. I sought help in the psychology dept. The problems stayed the same. I was very angry. Being well versed in the Bible, I could no longer abide by it. 1 Cor. 10:13 was the kicker for me. I ceased believing in the entire Bible, split from the church and proclaimed myself to be agnostic. That was here, ten years ago.

Although I earnestly believed myself to be a non-believer, I never felt comfortable with this either. SOMETHING or SOMEONE got this ball of myriad miracles in play! (This earth) It’s not a chance thing. I have been devoid of a spirituality for a long, long time. But all I’ve studied thus far is not the answer for me either.

Three times: When I was sixteen, my Aunt J… once told me, "C…., our Savior's name is really YAHshua and our Creator's name is YAHWEH." We talked about it for several minutes, but I quickly dismissed it after leaving her.

When I was married, I continued to study the Bible, and once I came upon the name YAHWEH.

And now, at forty-seven, my good friend E….. P……. Is telling me about YAHWEH and YAHshua, our Creator and Messiah. That is three times, and I still feel a "spiritual pulling."

I’ve been reading up on this faith and, well, frankly, I’m astonished to some degree. I mean, I have a "rounded education" (M.S. in microbiology), and I’ve studied the Bible. So I already knew many of these truths. Yet I’ve denied them to myself, as only a true addict can. I rationalized, "the vast majority can not be wrong, can they?"

So I’m studying, digging deep. I’ve got a Sacred Scriptures Bible on order. As much as I need a faith—a relationship with my Creator and Savior—I am very hesitant to claim any. Thus far, I see consistancies in Yahwism. Yet, my cynical, suspicious turn of mind is looking for the catch, the lie. (if any)

Of course, you are welcomed to attend our services/studies. I know that the fellowship with the other men will be a great help to you, but the realization that there is a great Creator Elohim will be an even greater help.

What we suggest you do to overcome the cynical mind is to do what you are already admitting and that is to profess your faith in a great Creator Elohim. Then you need to establish a personal relationship with Him confessing to Him that you not only believe but know that He is, He exists, and that you know that He has created all things including yourself.

Since you know that He has made all things, including yourself, then you must realize and know that He has made you with a specific purpose in mind as He has every person who has ever lived and died, is now living and who will be living in the future. You need to submit yourself to Him, asking Him to help you to seek His will and purpose and not your own.

Also, you need to confess to Him that since He is the Creator, You do understand that His word is truth. Ask Him for the ability to search His word out for the precious gems and nuggets that are contained therein, not from a cynical approach, but as a child who needs to be spiritually fed and nourished.

I would suggest that you not dig too deeply until you have established the more important and basic things in your mind such as His true name, the true name of His Son, His commandments (which include the seventh day Sabbath), the annual holy days, repentance, baptism, the receiving of the Holy Spirit, etc. These all reveal Him, His Son and His plan. Learn that He is working out a plan first and stick to that plan as your basic foundation before you proceed to weightier matters.

I remember speaking to you and you admitting that, due to your degree in microbiology, you can prove that the creation didn’t evolve. Excellent!

You say all of your life you have never felt truly fulfilled with any religion or faith. The reason is that what you have been studying into may look wondrous and great on the outside, even proclaiming itself to be representative of the great Creator, but none of them are.

It is true that you are spiritually incomplete. Just as a man and a woman are physically incomplete outside of marriage (it takes a male and a female to become one flesh), we are also spiritually incomplete without the "earnest" of the Holy Spirit. In other words, without the Holy Spirit we can understand things of man because of the spirit of man that is within us, but we can’t begin to comprehend the things of Elohim without the Spirit of Elohim in us (1 Cor. 2:11-13). I am sure that you already know the formula to receive the Holy Spirit, but you can read it in Acts 2:38-39. The world’s religions teach a false salvation through a false Savior which includes Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Acts 4:12 sets us straight on that one. I wish to tell you that I have been blessed by material that I have read from your web page. In order to introduce myself to you briefly, I have come to realize that my background has been sadly lacking in understanding the Culture in which YAHshua came and ministered. Since salvation is of the Jews, it has seemed to me that a correct understanding of the scriptures requires far more than I received growing up in a denominational setting. I am presently retired from a university position and am enjoying time to study the Jewish understanding of the Bible.

Thank you for your letter, newsletter and booklet. I have had my nose in the Bible for four years now and about 1-1/2 years ago YAHWEH revealed His Name to me. I was blessed enough to be of a mind to take his name to heart, as well as YAHshua's. For a long time it had bothered me to no end how many times I would read in Scripture, "In the name of the Lord, or Call upon the name of the Lord," without actually saying what that name was. I was quite certain it was not Lord, or God, which having their roots (as I was to learn later) in Baal, and Gad, Phoenician and Babylonian deities of pagan worship, which were actually an insult to YAHWEH. It is unspeakable joy to me that my search for the truth was rewarded by YAHWEH Himself. So now I live with the terrible pain of not being able to understand why so many in Churchianity are so radically opposed to the use of the proper names of our FATHER and our Savior. I sure that Satan was overjoyed when the early Jewish priests decided that YAHWEH'S name was too sacred to be uttered aloud. Not to mention that "Ieseous", borrowed from the Greeks (meaning healing Zeus), was also an insult to the Messiah. I sometimes consider the only redeeming quality to Churchianity today is that they still say "HalleluYah", not knowing what they are saying. I don’t tell too many of them for fear they will stop saying even that.
