MODALITIES:

  • Basic Reflexologymassage based around a system of points in the hands and feet thought to correspond, or "reflex," to all areas of the body.

  • Clinical/Therapeutic Massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress; and, to promote health and wellness.

  • CranioSacral Therapy IIprovides the foundation to understand the crucial craniosacral system and its relationship to illness, pain and dysfunction. Also helps therapists develop light-touch palpation skills to access and release subtle restrictions in the body. Examines the craniosacral system in relation to other physiological body systems. Also enhances ability to conduct whole-body evaluations.

  • Deep (Hot) Stone Therapyutilizing heated stones to soften tight muscles, trigger points, and soothe chronic muscle pain while lessening discomfort during therapy.  Also used with Swedish relaxation massage to de-stress and relax with the added warmth from smooth stones being pressed against the skin.

  • NeuroMuscular Therapy is a thorough program of recovery from acute and chronic pain syndromes which utilizes specific massage therapy, flexibility stretching, and home care to eliminate the causes of most neuromuscular pain patterns. This specific and scientific approach to muscular pain relief will help to bring about balance between the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. NMT enhances the function of joints, muscles and biomechanics (movement) and it releases endorphins, the body's own natural pain killers. It can be part of a comprehensive program, complementing all other health care modalities.

  • Swedish Relaxation Massagea system of long strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints.
