After the unfortunate results of Dr. Winston Peabody's experiments in 1948, it is advised that rabbit hunters take an experienced guide, and load for big game.

Muriel Grimwood became the Principal of Arkham High School in 1901 and was quite successful at restoring order to an unruly school
Her bullwhip, and the Discipline Room, are still spoken of in hushed voices by Arkham teenagers.

Frieda Horstweiler and her daughter Muriel were instrumental in bringing the joys of Ruritanian rural cooking to Arkham. Their blend of rat, cat and hamster into the famous "Mauskatzenpfeffer" brought a new dish to Arkham households.
Ethnic Ruritanian restaurants are still quite popular in Arkham, surpassing German, Chinese and sushi.

The clean-up after "Perky" Thermowhistle's graduation party was a bit difficult, as some of the guests partied until they (quite literally) dropped dead in their tracks.
"Perky" thought it all to be great fun, and bubbled about it for weeks afterwards.

John Franklin Rebeck invented the famous Sausage Machine of which the song spoke:

"Oh Mr. Johnny Rebeck how could you be so mean?
I told you you'd be sorry for inventing that machine!
Now all the neighbor's cats and dogs will nevermore be seen!
They've all been ground to sausages in Johnny Rebeck's machine!"

Miriam and Zev Freeberg at Manassas Freeberg's Bar Mitzvah with Uncle Moishy, the world's smallest Kaballist.
After witnessing the unique aspects of an Arkham Bar Mitzvah, Moishy fled screaming back to Brooklyn and became quite insane.

The Ruritanian Festival of Spring being celebrated by the Orthodox Cthulhu Ladies Auxiliary.
Because they use the (really) Old Calendar the celebration is held 4 days after Arkham's Spring Calling.

Annie Warbucks was a famous traveler and adventuress whose home was here in Arkham.
Her travels and adventures were chronicled regularly in the daily papers all across North America.

Herman Raster came to Arkham (from Innsmouth) to study fish-human crossgenetics at Miskatonic University.

Rudolf Albrecht Undsoweiter, Ruritanian immigrant and famed as the inventor of the Cthulhu-clock
Arkhamites were charmed by the hand-carved wooden clocks that announced the time by a tiny little tentacled being that popped out of a door and intoned the hours.
