General Resume

I have been teaching psychology and sociology courses at Arizona Western College since 1964. Before that, I was an instructor, teaching assistant and research assistant at the University of Arizona while doing my graduate work. I received my doctorate in 1975. In May 1999, I retired, but I still taught one section of Human Sexuality until May, 2002. Now I am completely retired from classroom teaching. When my wife finally retired in Jaunary, 2003, we moved to Sun City West. Currently I give talks to RISE at Rio Salado, PORA and other community groups in the Phoenix area. Here is a list of my speech topics. On an almost daily basis, I also tutor for online message boards at Jishka and PATH (Pupils Ask Teachers Help).

More recently I am a volunteer reader to record books for Reading for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D) and reading to elementary school classes via BookPALS.

I wrote a weekly column, "A Line on Life," on psychological topics from 1983-1999. It appeared in the SuperShopperin the Yuma area.
