Creek - Step 1
The next step was to start constructing
the creek. After cleaning up any loose scenery foam I mixed up some craft paint
(Delta Ceramcoat from Hobby Lobby) to get the muddy color of a typical Midwestern
small creek. Here's a photo after I had painted the bottom of the creek bed .
Notice that I have the ground cover coming right down to what will be the edge
of the creek.
I also decided to try some cat tails from
Scenic Express. Here's a close-up photo of cat tails and just another photo of
the bank detail.
