3-19-05 -
March 26th: Community Impact Day with CRC at Young's Park. Event is from 11am-2pm. Ben will be ministering a song.
April 16th: United In Him Outreach Program 12pm - 5pm. PS2 Tournament for Kids/ Basketball Tournament for men/ Blow-up Inflatable Bouncing Playground Machine
May 15th: Singles Society from 4pm - 7pm. CRC Ben will be doing one of two of his songs.
12-18-03 - THE GOD SQUAD ministers at the detention home in Norfolk, VA every 4th Saturday of the month and the members consist of 25 committed men and women of God. Here is a picture of the GOD SQUAD praying before the residents of the detention home enter the gymnasium for a time of praise and worship, rap, dancing, stepping, singing, skits, testimonies, encouraging words, and most importantly an invitation to salvation. From Left to right: Jay Nu from a Christian Hip-Hop group known as the W.U.N.D.A. 7-19-03 - Recently SOJ performed at University Park Baptist in Charlotte, NC for the Inspirational Channel Talent Search. Here are some pictures from the event.
02-06-03 - Hello & happy new year. It's been a while since the last update and it's time to start the new year off right. SOJ will soon be performing at Cornerstone Christian School in Chesapeake on Sunday, Feb. 23rd. A large crowd is expected so try to get there early and get a good seat. 10-14-02 - GOOD NEWS! On September 28 SOJ was selected as the 1st place winner of Gospel Apollo Night at New Hope Community Convocation Center. There were many talented performers and everyone had a good time. We will have pictures of this performance as soon as possible.
10-14-02 - You're Invited to YOUTH SUNDAY! October 27 * 10:00 am @ Life In His Word Christian Center. This service will be especially geared for (but not limited to) young people.Click here for more info and directions on how to get there.
8-25-02 - On Thursday, Sept. 5, Ben will be performing at Old Dominion University for The College Ministry's "Catalyst". The event will take place from 7:30 - 9:00 PM. Please come out and have a good time. Bring a friend too!
6-24-02 - Ben Barrow - Son of Jacob will be performing again soon at the Portsmouth Crusade held by Calvary Revival Church on FRIDAY JUNE 28th at 5:30 PM. There will many other artists there as well, so why not come out and get your praise on - it's free. Click here for directions
6-13-02 - SOJ will be performing this Saturday evening (6/15) at Planet Rock Church in Virginia Beach.
6-01-02 - SOJ recently performed at Azalea Garden Church of God in Virginia Beach. Leah Barrow Nisbet helped perform the new song, "He Died For Me." Their performance was preceded by a great play done by the Azalea Church youth group.
