GROUND ZERO
"GROUND ZERO"
There's a site in New York City
we all have come to know;
'twas torn with plight and pity
so they named it "GROUND ZERO"!
Where vapors from the aftermath
still streaming skyward bound;
reminding us of Satan's wrath
that fell those structures down.
Where everyday in God's embrace
come angels from the slain;
instills an image of that place
where memory will not wane.
As "dust to dust" is often said-
this case is, oh, so true!
For many people that are dead-
were never found in view.
But always in the vast beyond
their spirits ever soar;
o'er the walls that rise anon--
to shine there as before!
