''RUNGS OF LIFE''
Rise ye up my fallen friend
and brush away the dust;
the fall you had was not that bad,
so try again, you must!
You're young my friend,
now heed the call...
more rocky steps ahead;
"The bigger they are, the harder they fall"
are only words instead.
And many falls may hurt inside;
so never let them stay.
The pain you feel is in your pride,
just stand up to the frey.
Proverbial "rungs" can lead you up,
or they may bring you down,
but, your " boot straps" are strong enough
to keep you off the ground!
Those ladder "rungs of life" may yield...
each step a truly test;
so " toe the line" with all your will,
brings out in you...the best!
