"THE RIGHT TURN"
A crossroad comes in every life
where people choose between:
The proper route that ends their strife,
or way they've always seen.
Now, many reach that crossing road
with dead end straight ahead,
carrying a heavy burden load,
and ill will that was bred.
And many a man has gone astray
with many a wicked deed,
stepped on toes along the way,
and not one heart would bleed.
Some griped a lot in traffic's snare,
and moaned when lights turned red,
smiled not upon a friendly stare,
but cast their frowns instead!
And spatting with their friends--or foe
and yes, their family,
They wonder now which way to go-
to reach tranquility.
So with respect, I interject:
you have one choice of two:
that when you reach that intersect-
turn right for life anew!
