Hardison</div> <div> <TABLE BORDER="0" CELLPADDING="1" CELLSPACING="1" WIDTH="234" BORDERCOLORLIGHT="#C0C0C0" BORDERCOLORDARK="#808080" FRAME="VOID" RULES="NONE" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" > <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 2473 WIDTH="230"><bR> <div> "THE STORM"</div> <bR> <div> I am born upon the sea,</div> <div> a terrible, violent force,</div> <div> whirlwinds of a mass degree</div> <div> just spiraling on a course.</div> <div> I have no special goal in mind,</div> <div> I go where warm air leads.</div> <div> To gain my strength I have to find</div> <div> warm water to heat my needs.</div> <div> I'm called the most horrific storm</div> <div> the world has ever known.</div> <div> No greater force was ever born,</div> <div> no greater winds have blown!</div> <div> I am a killer from the sea.</div> <div> I stay upon a verge.</div> <div> I drown my sites immediately</div> <div> with raging water surge!</div> <div> I am a mighty hurricane!</div> <div> I romp the world at will,</div> <div> unleashing torrid winds and rain,</div> <div> upon the earth I spill!</div> <div> I conquer all that's in my path,</div> <div> I devastate and Kill!</div> <div> I blast away with all my wrath</div> <div> before my winds come still.</div> <div> I am the force that knows no bound,</div> <div> nor care what's in my wake.</div> <div> I terrify all the life around</div> <div> with furor that I make.</div> <div> I wash away, and tear away</div> <div> what man has strove to build.</div> <div> I'll blow it into disarray</div> <div> within a moments yield.</div> <div> I'll flood his land, remove his sand,</div> <div> and put him out to flee.</div> <div> Run him out like no one can,</div> <div> except...the likes of me!</div> <div> Although my winds are sometimes gone</div> <div> I still retain a name;</div> <div> I will form another spawn,</div> <div> and I will storm again!</div> <div> Here in the midst some names I'll list,</div> <div> but only just a few;</div> <div> Was Danny, and Barry, Arthur and Chris,</div> <div> Cesar, Bob, and Andrew.</div> <div> In '89 I had more fun</div> <div> where I dealt the mightiest blow,</div> <div> upon the city of Charleston,</div> <div> and my name was then- Hugo.</div> <div> I was Andrew named in '92,</div> <div> in '93, I'm Stan.</div> <div> In '96 I blasted through,</div> <div> and my tag was labeled Fran.</div> <div> My other names of hurricanes</div> <div> are Berth and Isabel.</div> <div> Wendy, Debby, and Helene</div> <div> and the worst of all, Camille!</div> <div> I left my marks upon the earth</div> <div> with many more in store.</div> <div> It's up to you, and all you're worth<FONT SIZE="5" COLOR="#660033" FACE="Arial" >,</FONT></div> <div> take heed forevermore! </div> <bR> <div> William E.
