THIS COURT IS NOW IN SESSION
*************
The world has one huge docket...
where one judge rules His find.
His courtroom is the sprocket
that turns the wheels of time.
This court has just one juror
to whom we plead our case,
the Judge , the only beauer,
will set the course we face.
For we're all on trial for livin'
an' the judge is one we fear,
We plea our sins forgiven,
and sentence time is near.
He reigns down from His pulpit,
and the gavel makes it's tone,
seeking order from the culprits,
whom make their presence known.
For there are interruptions,
and some won't settle down;
like those who sought corruptions,
and bent on hellward bound.
Then there's the rich and famous,
accused of greed and lust,
and those who tend to shame us,
and rob away our trust.
Then comes the meek and lonely,
the peasants, young and old,
having hopes, but only....
to see despair unfold.
But each will get their hearing
and a verdict shall come in,
for judgment day is nearing,
and be ye free from sin.
Now the sentence has been given,
and only time will tell;
will it be the gate to heaven,
or to the pits of hell?!
