"TROUBLED HEARTS"
Sometime, somewhere, a body must start,
If they're in some deep trouble within,
To remove the turmoil of a burdened heart
By asking God to forgive them for sin.
Some look to the world and its treasures sought
In hopes of fulfilling their gain,
But they will live on without any thought
Of the cause of their strife and pain.
Their search is on going for riches and fame
And yes, some have reached their goals;
But are they aware from whence they came
And the forces that played in their roles?
Is it God that is absent from their heart and mind
As they go through their life of grind?
And is it the devil's drive in which they find
Themselves in their terrible bind?
But the strain of life is upon us all
And not limited to just the rich,
For many a wealthy one stands tall
By using God's post to hitch.
'Cause God doesn't care how much money we earn
As long as it's honest and clean,
But instilling in us His foundation firm
Is living His precious theme!
So friends, if you're bothered in any way,
And you're famous and wealthy or poor,
Take all the problems you have each day
And unload 'em at heaven's door;
And the Lord is there to receive them with care,
Which He will dispose at will;
When in heaven we come to greet Him there,
We will have paid Him in full, our bill!
