"UP AN' AT 'EM"
When you rise in early morn,
are there thoughts of what to do?
like doing chores where bliss is born,
that makes your life feel new.
How 'bout jobs that brings rewards
that keeps your mind at peace,
like mowing grass or seed the yards,
or walking your dog on leash.
Or building a simple blue bird house,
or painting your wood shed red.
Get your spirits to really arouse,
by painting your house instead.
A thousand things that joy here brings,
that's calling for your hand,
so remove ye from those inner springs,
and rise to do what's grand!
If you perform what I suggest,
then I know you're not a "dub",
'cause they're the deeds
we love the best,
so welcome to the club!
