The Grim Reaper

The Reaper was inspired by a latex prop I saw at a website. Our Reaper was made with a skeleton, a hooded costume with a mesh face, and a pvc stand to hold it while it dried. We built the frame so it had arms and shoulders. The costume was placed over the skeleton and the the whole thing was attached to the stand and we postitioned the arms. Once we had it to our liking we sprayed it several times with watered down glue. Letting it dry between coats stiffened it up. Once it was fairly rigid we removed the stand and the skeleton. The Reaper was then placed on a pvc pipe which was slid over a piece of rebar. We might place him out in the grave yard or in front of the garage.
