Just a note, that there is no official meeting planned for June 1st although the rest of the group may want to use the normal meeting spot. Feel free to discuss it on the message boards or the cache page if you wish to meet on the 1st despite me not being able to be there. I hope to see as many of you as possible on the 8th of June instead at the Spring Fling

Congratulations! to the Golden Retrievers on being the first Tulsa and Oklahoma based team to find 100 caches. Don't let your guard down, Me and the Parkermen are right on your tail.

Just thought I would preserve this photo for the GR's while it lasts. (isn't the first sign of addiction admitting you have a problem?)

The second TAG meeting was held May 4th and we had a good turnout. There were 8 "teams" at the meeting including, fleabittn (Bob & Genia), Golden Retrievers, BKDotCom, Zzons, beatnik, Baron Von TnT, Parkermen, and the Tribe of Two. I thank everyone who came out and hope you all had a good time. Topics of discussion were as follows.
Next month the TAG meeting will be held June 8th at the OK Geocachers Spring Fling along with the OKC geocaching group. It's a long trip but I invite everyone to try and make it. We still have the current location for our meetings reserved for June 1st if anyone wants to get together on that day. I can't make it, so those that want to meet or can't make it to the Spring Fling feel free to discuss it on the message board.
Everyone seems to like the new page and message board. Anyone that wants to make their own web page similar to this one please visit blogger.com. It is a great utility.
The link is at the bottom right hand corner of this web page.
We breifly discussed travel bugs. Woody the Wanderer stopped by for a visit at the meeting with the Tribe of Two. The Parkermen gang kidnapped him after the meeting, he's headed towards Tennesee soon.
We discussed ideas for caching. Zzons has some pretty cool sounding caches in the works. I'm still trying to put my two BMC containers out somewhere. I also have a plan for a multicache. We talked about mini-caches and how hard it is to get tiny logs in them. I mentioned the idea of a Route 66 multicache.
We discussed a few caching stories. Everyone got a laugh out of Genia's tale about being drug across the Arkansas River by Bob. We missed OKTwinboy, as we wanted to know more about his trip or was it fall at the Port cache. I told about scaring some poor girl at WetBlanket. No one seems to like getting attacked by ticks or poison ivy. People in Arkansas are rumored to be immune to poison ivy as well. And we all agree that a good Plumber's wife is hard to find.
I'm sure I forgot something in my notes. Feel free to bring it up on the message board. I hope to see everyone at the next meeting June 8th

Was looking at the leaderboard and I just realized that I hit my 75th cache yesterday. It was "Thar She Blows" a wonderful cache alongside a Route 66 icon. Go check it out if you haven't yet, bring the kids they will love this one. As one of the primary states for the old "Mother Road" maybe a Route 66 Multicache of some kind is in order.
