James Humbert's Truck -- Picture circa 1939
Used for work and play
We think this was a berry picking expedition
James Humbert would put sideboards on his truck,
put bales of hay along the side, place picnic things in the middle
and would take half the Rowes Run neighborhood
to Shady Grove or some other park.
He also used his truck to drive the baseball teams
to some of their games.
