"I must tell you how truthful and inspiring it was". -- Debbie H
"Paul Burke is some fantastic,
talented writer. His adventure takes you through the soul of life and
you find yourself reflecting on your own path, questioning the purpose
of where you are going and even to the depths of how to make change in
one self and for the world. It is an eye-opener to the trials
of life. It is down to earth and so humanly raw! I loved this
book and highly recommend it as a must read"!! --

"Hi from the United Kingdom. Thanks
for a brilliant book". -- Terry
"My birthday gift to myself was to read
Journey Home and finish it on a relaxing day. I actually didn't
get to read until evening but was so excited to finish it and see what
would happen! I really enjoyed your book Paul. Such insight and
thoughts to keep me going for awhile. I still love Louise and her
insights. I feel connected with a lot and her character.
I was in awe of your thoughts and how Journey Home teaches me to
really listen, to be in the moment and be aware even more. I
would like to write something for you on Amazon. I never have done
that before but will see where it can be done. Journey Home
shines and it is such a great adventure. You bring up
important thoughts that some of us in our nation turn our heads to. We
need more writers like you...I am so glad to have read this book!!
Glad it arrived on my path." -- Debbie
"Well done my friend!!! Loved it ...

" Some thoughts on
Journey Home. You should be extremely proud it is a great story and I really found it to be
amazing. Journey Home is written with such care and nurture and
it speaks of experiences and observations both subtle and
strong. The characters are extremely well appointed and
interesting. They each have their own intrinsic contribution as you move them through the story line,
revealing their humanness. The literal actions of the characters are juxtaposed and
seeped with inner meaning. I felt as a reader that somehow I too played a part in the book.
I was reeled in so strongly by carefully threaded passages throughout the story.
You captured me through your use of carefully chosen descriptions and seemingly effortless
wording. You conveyed an immense array of existential thoughts and
questions, not easily verbalized by most because of their intense and provocative nature. While
some passages are often cerebral, they are met equally by the heart. In the bigger sense, you cleverly ask readers to think beyond themselves and
beyond the ordinary range of perception. You prompt us to question what is
happening with our environment, government and religious institutions and get us
to really think about and consider what we really could accomplish as a
collective force. You remind us in the end that the choice is
ours." -- A.J.
"I just a little while ago finished reading
Journey Home and I can't tell you how bowled over I am. It is so insightful and powerful and it emanates such wonderment of reality and critically important truths.
You wistfully command the conscious reader up a couple of notches with your impact of imagery, strength of characters, methods and
messages, and provoke in us even more virtue and fervor in our continued examination of this
world and universe around us. Phenomenal on so many levels...
I've got to sit down for awhile now and collect my many thoughts about this and what it's all meaning to me and will have to write you again. Tremendous and tremendously you...
Thank you my friend!" -- Aimee'
"Paul, I got Journey Home sent
to my house and eagerly devoured it on a trip to New York and back via
a long delay courtesy Delta Airlines. You proved to be a great
companion... YOU ROCK" -- Ken
"Paul... I’ve been spreading the word
about Journey Home like a daycare spreads germs.
I really enjoyed reading it so I thought I'd spring for the
hardback. I would love to
send you my book to have you sign it! That would rock!!!
The first copy I got was the paperback which I've read over and
over…and I will I have to say again…excellent read!
Much love & light" -- Renee
"Hello! Thank you for your lovely message.
I can't believe you've met John Renbourn. He is wonderful! Your book
arrived the other day. I'm half way through and I'm really
enjoying it. Hats off to you!
Take care" -- Rae
"When I first started reading Journey
Home I couldn’t put it down! Each person and situation became vivid in my
mind. I could feel the book. It became one with me and the sounds of the bullfrogs and crickets here on Big
River as I read it in the late of the night. Very rarely with a book can I feel each character and their situations as the story moves along.
The unexpected twists and turns, continued to peak my interest, and the first night I read till I could see no
more. Then, as I awoke I read till I was done. A book of this quality is an
Amazing Gift for all to read....and Understand! All the Best!!!"
-- Dusty
"I've been reading a book called "The Celestine
Prophesy." It reminded me some of Journey Home in that it contains a philosophy wrapped in an adventure story.
I also just read "The DaVinci Code." A great story, but not really all that well written. Your writing is much better!" --
Brooke
"Journey Home did pretty much say it all. This
year has been a very spiritually awakening year for myself. It has lead me to
connect with several inspirational people -- one being yourself. I do hope that you are able to write and publish another book.
I have become so discouraged when I look around and see what is happening in this existence; but then there are people, such as yourself, and things, such as this book, that give me
reason to continue going ahead and being positive.
I am going to be sharing your book with some friends who will definitely appreciate it.
I will keep you and your Journey through life in my daily prayers."
-- Donna
"I just finished your book. Wow! Any words I could say here would seem pale to me when compared with the labor you put into it. I've been waiting a long time for this and you didn't disappoint! I'm truly impressed. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Know that it will remain with me for the rest of my life always with me. I thank you for that. I also thank you for choosing to write it. I'm giving it to Kathy to read and intend to read it again in a couple of weeks.
It's very deep and very well written. I'm very proud of you! I mean it. I spoke with Cathi this afternoon and I know they are still awaiting their copy. I received mine Tuesday when I got home. What a great week it's been!
I loved it!! No doubt I'll be passing it around. 3 thumbs up dude!
Beautiful Job!" -- Mark
"That's some deep thinking gone into that literary
wonder. Like Red Fred said when we told him you were writing a book, if he can write as good as he talks, that should be a good book."
-- Rico
"This is a vivid book of poetry; I felt like I could almost hear natures relaxing soothing sounds."
-- Carolyn
"I finally got to it this weekend. A very interesting story, and
a notably fearless use of stream of consciousness. You're not afraid to go for a ride through the tangential thoughts of the characters.
As a big James Joyce fan, I love that!"
-- Rob
"Paul B, the alley scene was riveting!!
Get the word out. Seems to me people should be concerned with the message you have woven in and out the story's framework, and not what color their next cell phone should be.
Get on the bus!! Take the ride!!"
-- Jeana Beana
"I finished your book about a week or so ago. It's been percolating
in my mind these past several days. There are a nice array of characters involved in an interesting story. I would
definitely be interested in reading a sequel... (or a prequel!) I
thought, 'I just want to find out what happens!'
It is a wonderful book - a very enjoyable read.
The writing is very evocative and inspiring." -- Brooke
