My life with Labradors began with a much loved rescue by the name of Beatrice. Bea was the light of my life
and began my endless devotion to this wonderful breed. Although Bea is no longer with us, her memory lives on
with me as I strive to produce healthy, temperamentally sound and beautiful Labradors.
I am a small hobby breeder and only breed one or two litters per year. Much research and thought go into
my selection process for these breedings. I always keep a pup or two from these matings to improve on my lines.
First and foremost, I breed to continue the quality I have been so fortunate to start with and perpetuate
the type and temperament that I love.
We strive to produce a lab that is not only beautiful to behold, but a wonderful companion with a temperament
of the best. All of our stud dogs and bitches are OFA hip and elbow certified, have an annual eye exam from an
Accredited Veterinary Ophthalmologist (CERF), and are Optigen Normal/Clear. All our boys are OFA Cardiac Normal,
cleared by Color Doppler by a certified Cardiologist.
My mentor, Barry Richards, has allowed me to co-own a number of bitches with him, and without his encouragement
and guidance, I would not have in my kennel what I have today. Thank you, Barry, from the bottom of my heart,
you are an asset to the breed and a true friend.
I would also like to thank my wonderful husband, Jay Dee, who without his unending patience and support I would not
be able to continue to do what I love.
