This has been a long week for me. I need lot's of sleep. But I don't think that that is going to happen. I have so much to still do. We are going to plant a few more plants in my yard. Then it will be finished. The whole front yard was redone, new plant's, tree's and 25 tons of 1inch rock. Then it's time for the regular house cleaning that never wants to go away.
Crochet of the day
I have only 3 and a half more rows till I am done with my Afghan for the crochet Olympics. Then it's off to my other squares that I am working on. I also need to find a few patterns for some shawl or stole's for the next swap and make some pretty flowers that I have in mind for the flower frenzy. Must go work on my afghan for now.

Why does it seem like life fly's right by and you don't know what's going on. It is like all the day's run together. It's not fair that there is not enough time in the day to get all the things that you want to get done. It's also called kid's that cant clean up after themselves after they are don e with something.
I did have a nice Valentine's day I got a new cabinet for my computer. Hubby helped me with the top part of it. (picture soon). I have also been working on my afghan, purse swap and snow flakes.

January 27 2006
Every time I make a note to update my blog, life steps in and I end up having to do other things! I think life has it in for me. The family and I are all doing fine. In the last few months the family and I have been trying to get over the flu and what ever else we ended up getting. For now we are all in good health (knock on wood).
To update from my last post way back in October. The kids had a good Halloween, Thanksgiving was a small get together and for Christmas we had all the family over and it was so nice to have my son out for the holiday. He was out for two weeks and it went by so fast. I loved having him home again. I hope that we can change that in the next few months (in July). That is when I hope I can have him move out and live with us. His sisters are looking forward to it , the only thing is one of the girls will have to share a room with each other and we don't know who it will be yet. When we had him out I made a pair of socks out of Red Heart (camouflage) and black toe and heel The pattern is this one. I make the toe and heel using two strands of yarn, he is always wearing his white socks and it was driving me nuts so now he has a thick pair of slipper socks. Hope he likes them.
As far as my crocheting I did the socks for Jarred , a pair for Emily and half a pair done for Elaine. I took part in the ornament swap and made 2 each for 6 people (sorry forgot pictures of the ones I made)
Also in the winter secret pal and I got lots of neat things from Lani (dhaunae ). She also thought about my girls and sent a few things in her rival package. I took pictures and now I cant find them. All this time she had me as a secret pal and then I got her as ornament swap partner. She also sent me a felted bucket bag that I loved so
Before felting after 1 washing
January 20 the kids and I went to see Shane Doan (also my b-day). What a great day that was.
#19 Shane Doan of the Phoenix Coyotes
A joke form a friend
I am not sure exactly how it works,
The picture below has 2 identical dolphins in
it.
It was used in a case study on stress level at St. Mary's Hospital.
a person under stress would find differences in the two dolphins.
If there are many differences found between
both dolphins,
it means that the person is experiencing a
great amount of stress.
