Kangaroo Plans

A bit tougher, but a cutie

(Or... make kangaroo Jack)

I used one and three quarter inch thick cherry to make these kangaroo puzzles, but you could make it slimmer (and easier) and of course use other wood, such as walnut or maple.

here's 3 'roos in the outback

Just playing with the photos here.. but here's three kangaroos in the outback.

Uncle Buck holding a lifelike kangaroo

Okay, to give you an idea of the size, here's my son Phil with Kangaroo Jack.

You can position the arms and legs on these wood puzzles to give him different poses.

same roo, different pose

Same kangaroo puzzle, but a different pose. Like my other animal puzzles there is no carving to make him, just sanding. Oh yes, be sure to check out the new Clamp assistant.

These plans run $8.95 postage paid in the USA. It isn't that hard to construct, involves no carving, only sanding. I use a 4 inch X 36 inch sander and a dremel rotary tool. Also a drill press and a bandsaw with a 1/8 inch blade, I'm sure a scrollsaw would work too.

Something new, you don't have to sign up with PayPal to order online any more, PayPal will now handle credit cards for you without a signup!

If you live outside the USA there will be an additional charge of $.50 (50 cents) to help defray the postage differences.
