The Snake PlansEasy to make, Pretty tough puzzle (Something new, scroll down) (More new stuff, scroll way down!) (Outside USA? Scroll way, way down)
Here are 2 of my cherry wood snakes, one all together
and one taken apart. These have about 36 to 38 pieces in each one. This can
be a tough puzzle to put back together, notice I keep the pieces in order.
These 2 were made from 1 1/4 inch X 1 1/4 inch Cherry, 28 inches long to start (the size I had on hand)
This is my grand daughter Kathy holding one of my big cherry snakes, the
plan is very easy to enlarge to the size of your hardwood. I used 1 3/4 inch thick cherry for this one. Different sizes, The top and bottom ones are maple. Harder to work but
strong! I use Minwax wood hardener on my Cherry snakes.
Something NEW! I finally finished a new "how to do it" DVD for the snake and lizard I believe will really help. Using slides and movies I give closeups and explain every step of the way. For a short sample, click here, This is a sample in the mpeg format so it should open if you have an older computer or a newer one. It's a bit blurry as I had to keep the size down online. The DVDs will be much clearer.
