Note the different forestock, rather than the hand grip, I  call this the "Military version" and the one with the front hand grip the "Gangster version" - a la Al Capone, the roaring 20's....  These semi-auto guns have the star wheel and can shoot 10 shots as fast as you can pull the trigger.  I used cherry for the stocks and handlegrips, but the latest ones are solid oak.   

I recently acquired a bunch of 1 inch thick oak and have been making Tommy guns with removable stocks, also changable clips, you can remove one screw and switch between a clip and a drum magazine. These take a bit more making, but I do have a few.
