Regular
Plans
"Grandpa, make me a rubber band gun!" I used to
hear, over and over till I would go out to the shed
and cut a piece of wood and tape a clothespin to
it. Years later when I got into the craft show bit
(loved it!) I needed something cheap, and something
for boys. I thought of how my grandsons loved their
rubber band guns, and how the grownups do too,
& set my mind to making a "repeater" clothespin
gun. I finally figured out how to do it (hey,
that's easy!) and made up a bunch of 2 shot and 3
shot rubber band guns. I sold the 2 shot guns for
$4 and the 3 shot guns for $5. I couldn't believe
how good they sold! I had grown women buying them
for the men in the office! They are pretty easy to
make and a hot selling craft show item.
Here are two different sized "regular" clothespin rubber band guns, These are both 2 shot pistols, each with just one rubber band. They are very easy to make, I do dowel the handles to the "barrels", but only 3/4" thick wood is required, and you can use just about any type of wood you want.
