Upgrade Instead of
the notches, if you would rather, drill a sharply angled 3/16" hole at
the front of both barrels, glue in a dowel with about 1/4" - 5/16"
exposed, then sand the rear of the dowel as shown above. If not sanded,
the bands tend to hang as they are fired, but this way loads much
faster.
