About Dr. Pearl B. Chen Dr. Pearl Chen is a licensed acupunctureist certified by the Arizona State Board of Acupuncture Examiners. She is also board certified by the N.C.C.A., also know as the National Certification Commission for Acupuncturists. Dr. Chen was appointed by Governor Jane Hall in 1998 to serve as a board member of the Arizona State Board of Acupuncture Examiners. Dr. Chen was graduated from China Medical College in Tai Chung, Taiwan, where she received training in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. She received her M.D. degree in 1982. She interned as an acupuncturist in the General Veterans Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Chen's pursuit of a deeper understanding of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine lead her to study and take part in research at the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China. Dr. Chen provides natural and holistic healthcare and uses only the finest disposable acupuncture needles and the highest quality Chinese herbs.
