What to Expect
Initial Visit The first visit begins with a complete medical, nutritional and lifestyle history and evaluation of the pulse, tongue, blood pressure and other relevent diagnostic tests. Pulse and tongue evaluation are vital aspects of TCM. They reflect the condition of the internal organs, chi, blood and body fluids. A diagnosis is developed based on your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual condition. A natural treatment plan will be developed and discussed with you and may include Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Acupressure, Moxibustion, Cupping, Nutritional Guidance and Lifestyle Recommendations. Follow-up Treatments Each treatment begins with an update of your condition and an evaluation of pulse, tongue and other relevant diagnostic tests. A combination of Acupuncture, Herbs and other TCM modalities may be prescribed. |
