I. (384) John Waugh, a Scotsman from Ireland, born in 1687, arrived in Boston in 1718, lived in Maine before moving to New Hampshire and then Connecticut. In 1745 he, his wife Margaret and 4 children moved from Lebanon, Conn. and settled in the South Farms section of Litchfield, now known as Morris, Connecticut.

II. (192) Thomas Waugh, born 1727 in New Hampshire; died Feb 24, 1801; married Rosannah Watson, April 11, 1754.
III. (96) John Waugh, born 1756 in Litchfield, CT; died April 23, 1813; married Olive Stone Oct 17, 1787.
IV. (48) Horace Waugh, born Mar 6, 1791 in Litchfield, CT; died July 13, 1854; married Diana Raymond Feb 1816.
V. (24) Leverett Waugh, born Mar 4, 1817 in Litchfield, CT; died Feb 21, 1879; married Lucy Ann Baldwin May 30, 1842.
VI. (12) Theron L. Waugh, born July 6, 1843 in Litchfield, CT; died April 26, 1929; married Alice Westover May 3, 1866.
VII. (6) Burton R. Waugh, born March 17, 1889 in Morris, CT; died Jan 4, 1925; married Ruth Bristol June 26, 1919 in Waterbury, CT.
VIII. (3) Barbara M. Waugh, born 1925 in Derby, CT; married Hollis J. Morin.
