Anita Prieto

ANITA PRIETO is the author of two published children's picture ABC books and a third Number Book, due for release in 2006.  She holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Louisiana State University and a Doctorate from the University of New Orleans.  Her professional life (33 years) was spent in the Orleans Parish School System, where she served as teacher, television teacher, supervisor, principal and acting area superintendent.  She is now retired and writing full time.
