More Greenville Air Force Base Memories
Of the Airmen that were there when the Base was open and was their first permanent assignment when they began their career.

Be sure to notice the style difference of the Barracks in different pictures.

After seeing these pictures, makes me wonder,
Were some of us still in basic training when we got to greenville?
We kept our clothes hung the way we were taught in Basic, we have our
"Foot Lockers"
Even the Barracks look the same.
and we did our beds the same way on Thursday, as in Basic.
Somebody tell me it ain't so.
Otherwise, I feel as if I stayed in Basic Training till 1959,
Heck, I stayed in the 4th grade in school 4 years. I guess I was hard headed.

Many Thanks to Robert Ragno for allowing us to post these pictures on the Web-Site.
These were took around 1956/1957

This I believe is one of the parking lot's for the 3506th Squadron, If I'm not
mistaken, the 3508th had the newer barracks, as in the background.

Thanks to all for your input of pictures and names of some of the Greenville Airmen.
