THE FORGIVENESS LIE

So now we are to the forgiveness lie. It seems to me Christians have been telling me for a long time now how I should have forgiveness in my heart, and how we should forgive all. Is that the way it is? Do all Christians forgive? It seems to me if we look through history it is not!
First before I go on let me say something here that put an impression on me. As my wife and I were watching a show on cannibalism, different scenarios were brought up as some justified eating other human beings because they were stranded and starving. We also saw where men raped, child molested, and murdered then ate their victims body parts. Then from my wife’s lips came "Do you think that the people who do these things here on earth when they leave this life it will be different for them because they seem to be in hell here and now?" This to me was a strange statement coming from my wife's lips. You see she hates child molesters with a burning passion, but there was a passion in her heart for forgiveness, one of tender mercies for these men. WHY? All I can say is GOD'S LOVE was in her heart, not her love, but GOD'S love! Only GOD can put that forgiveness in our hearts, but as I saw my wife's tears and trembling for these men, I told her that GOD in HIS perfect LOVE will make it even out, as in HE is the POTTER and we are the clay, meaning that GOD makes vessels of honor, and vessels of dishonor, Rom. 9:16-23. In the next life it will be that they are not responsible, because GOD made them this way, but they are and will be accountable for what they did. This accountability is that they must be shown where they were used in GOD’S plan and why they are not held responsible. Their error will be shown them, whether they thought they were doing right or wrong.
Now for you who believe that Christians love and forgive, lets look at some of these stories, starting with one from Foxe's Book of Martyrs.
"The Inquisition of the church of Rome was, in its days, one of the most terrible engines of tyranny ever created by man. It may be said to date from about the year 1200, when Pope Innocent III sent his inquisitors among the Walderness and others differing from the church, and continued until 1808 running its course. They totally crushed Protestants living in Spain. The final count numbered 31,912 people burned alive and 291,450 imprisoned. In the eighteen years that the Dominican monk Thomas of Torquemada led the Inquisition, 10,220 people were burned and 97,322 punished with the loss of property or imprisonment. Although its main victims were citizens of Spain, there were others who became its victims, too." I hope all who read this article will read such books as this.
I'm not going to write much about John Calvin, other than I hope you take time to read about how Mr. Calvin burned a man with slow burning wood for his beliefs. His name was Michael Servetus. Here is a small excerpt on Mr. Servetus:

"To rescue Servetus from his heresies, Calvin replied with the latest edition of his 'Institutes of the Christian Religion,' which Servetus promptly returned with insulting marginal comments.

Despite Servetus's [sic] pleas, Calvin, who developed an intense dislike of Servetus during their correspondence, refused to return any of the incriminating material."

"Convicted of heresy by the Roman Catholic authorities, Servetus escaped the death penalty by a prison break. Heading for Italy, Servetus unaccountably stopped at Geneva, where he had been denounced by Calvin and the Reformers. He was seized the day after his arrival, condemned as a heretic when he refused to recant, and burned in 1553 with the apparent tacit approval of Calvin."

In the course of his flight from Vienna, Servetus stopped in Geneva and made the mistake of attending a sermon by Calvin. He was recognized and arrested after the service.

"Calvin had him [Servetus] arrested as a heretic. Convicted and burned to death."

From the time that Calvin had him arrested on August 14th until his condemnation, Servetus spent his
remaining days: " ... in an atrocious dungeon with no light or heat, little food, and no sanitary facilities."

Let it be noted that the Calvinists of Geneva put half-green wood around the feet of Servetus and a wreath strewn with sulfur on his head. It took over thirty minutes to render him lifeless in such a fire, while the people of Geneva stood around to watch him suffer and slowly die!

Is this what our GOD meant by forgiveness?
I could go on and on about how Christians killed Christians in history, but this is about the forgiveness lie. Although it seems to me maybe Mr. Calvin, being a good Christian, must have forgot to forgive his enemies.
Is it in our nature to forgive, can we forgive without GOD'S perfect love within us? I say NO! JESUS said in Lk. 23:34, "FATHER, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." Did John Calvin know what he was doing? Do any of us really know what we are doing?
I find when I'm in that GODLY loving SPIRIT I have no problem in forgiving my fellow man. But what seems to be my problem is when I'm in traffic, not only do I forget forgiveness, but I forget to hold my tongue as well. Then there are those times when us believers can't agree to what we believe. I have seen venom dripping from the teeth of believers because I believe GOD can and will SAVE ALL MEN!!! (For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living GOD, who is the Savior of ALL men, especially of those who believe, 1 Tim. 4:9-11). Why wouldn't you want to believe this?
The one that really is strange to me is we can't even forgive our own families, the ones we are to bond with and learn to love, or at least that’s what I used to think before I read the Bible (Matt.10:34,35; 12:47-50). This is another story though.
It seems to me the forgiveness I have seen in this world is wonderful until you piss the ones that forgave you off, then its back to the same old BS until they need you again.
Then I have heard about believers who want to fuel the fires of hell with the unbelievers and in some cases believers, like John Calvin as mentioned above. It reminds me of the words of JESUS in Lk. 9:54-56, "...and when HIS disciples James and John saw this, they said, LORD, do YOU want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did? But HE turned and rebuked them saying, You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the SON of man did not come to destroy men's lives but to SAVE THEM."
Where is the forgiveness, is it of GOD or of man? Does GOD expect us to forgive, and yet HE burns us for eternity? Ask yourself is GOD a hypocrite, and does this ring true to your heart? Why can't HE forgive us, if HE is the LOVING ALL POWERFUL GOD? What force, or powers keeps HIM from having mercy to forgive us of our sin? Is it satan? Is satan a GOD? I thought there was only one GOD. It seems religion (check out the link) http://www.tentmaker.org/Dew/Dew1/D1-EtymologyOfReligion.html   has two GODS, one for good and one for evil, fighting it out to see who will have us for eternity. The last time I remember reading my bible it said we only have ONE GOD!!! Does this sound close to blaspheming? It makes you wonder since GOD, JESUS, and the SPIRIT are ONE, as Christianity teaches, are we in unforgiveness? How about blaspheming the HOLY SPIRIT, as mentioned in Matt.12:31,32? JESUS said in vs. 31, "Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the SPIRIT will not be forgiven men." It sounds permanent, but lets read vs. 32. "Anyone who speaks a word against the SON of man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the HOLY SPIRIT, it will not be forgiven him; either in this age or in the age to come." (NKJ). But that isn't how the Greek is written. The Greek in vs. 32 says, ".. and who ever says word against of the SPIRIT of the HOLY not be forgiven to him in to the now age or in to the coming one." (NKV-GREEK).  So pray about this, for those two ages will end and there will be forgiveness afterwards.
JESUS forgave us when HE was hanging on that cross, as GOD sent HIM here to SAVE the world (Jn.4:42). If HE fails and loses just one person HE hasn't saved the world, just the ones HE did save and that would make HIM the sinner (as sin means "to miss the mark"), but we know that HE isn't.
We hear HE won't force HIMSELF on us, but HE is the FORCE of the universe, as it's GOD'S work for you to believe in whom HE sent, not yours!!! (Jn. 6:29). So again do you think GOD has the power, the love, the grace, and the almighty wisdom to forgive us, if HE asks us to forgive each other? Matt. 7:7-12 says if you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your FATHER in heaven know how to give good things if you ask HIM? Like maybe forgiveness?
We will never see the kingdom if we don't learn to forgive!!!
When you see a transformed hitler, homosexual, rapist, child molester, or murderer in the kingdom you will thank GOD they were here on earth for us to learn this forgiveness of one another, for if you can't forgive and have LOVE in your heart for all, then you can't inherit the kingdom of GOD until you do, and this will be GOD'S work in us.
How many people do you think are going to inherit the kingdom of GOD without HIS mercy or forgiveness? NONE!!! So its back to GOD'S responsibility, HIS WORK!!! The first shall be last, and the last shall be first, and you can keep reversing that saying on and on, for we are all the same in GOD'S EYES (Matt.9:12-13).
This is what our FATHER desires of us! Mercy not sacrifice. We can't forgive as we should for we live in this flesh that holds us down, but living in the SPIRIT is what free's us from the sin problem. By the way I see no way for me to live totally in the SPIRIT as long as I have this flesh, so THANK GOD for GRACE!!!
The harder I try to live in the SPIRIT the more I fall, and the more I learn of GOD the more vulgar I see my flesh. There is nothing good in us but what GOD is shaping in us.
We will be able to rejoice when GOD has finished shaping us ALL INTO HIS IMAGE. Then and only then will we be able to forgive and have that GODLY love that is required to be in HIS presence, so that HE can be ALL IN ALL (1Cor.15:28).
So the next time you can't forgive as you really want to do, go to THE SOURCE that has freed us from sin and death, that has given us grace freely, the ONE who has forgiven you, and give HIM glory for HIS work is finished! (HEB.4:3, 12:2).
You can't add to HIS work, not even your best effort at forgiving people.
So the forgiveness lie is thinking your own efforts at forgiving will get you into the kingdom of GOD!!!
