Beautiful terrain and river..sad to see it in this condition..... very twisty road---a lot of fun for me...I'm not sure if Kathleen enjoyed it as much due to the traffic--she said something about making dents in the handles where she holds on.....we got out of the smoke and are staying the night in Redding, Ca...heading to the east side of Reno, Nv tomorrow
