We had breakfast with a couple of bikers like us that were traveling the opposite direction as us.....they had just left where we were heading. They recommended we head to the 'high country"--Sun Valley--- to avoid the record heat. It was a beautiful ride and area of Idaho. However...we were still greeted with record high temps in Ontario, Or ---our overnight target.... 105 degrees just to our south in Boise !!!! It was a very HOT ride...but we made it just fine. We will also have to alter our plans later due to California fires. Still headed that way..but will probably have to alter coming home plans.....may just have to sit it out here for a few weeks ;-)
