SEVERE EYE PROBLEMS
ANIRIDIA

The iris surrounds the pupil and regulates how much light is allowed to enter into the inner eye. The size of the pupil is altered by the iris during normal operations. When the iris is damaged or missing, the pupil cannot be adjusted properly. This condition is aniridia. Aniridia is normally associated as a birth defect, but can also be caused by an eye injury.
