This model was designed by Giorgio Giugiaro and
is quite rare. It's item #26 in Mr. Tokunaga's Watch Museum. A similar
model was used in the movie "Aliens", so this watch is commonly referred
to as the "Alien 7A28". I found it listed on Ebay with a Buy-It-Now price
of $60, along with a fuzzy picture. The seller described it as "NOS" (New
Old Stock), so I decided to take a chance and buy it. During the buying
process, my computer locked up and had to be rebooted. I was panicking,
afraid that somebody else would jump in and snatch it up. Luckily, it was
still available when my computer came back online. I guess it was meant
to be mine.
