ThelmaLou was my introduction into the wonderful world of Dalmatians.  If it were not for this wonderful girl I would never have come to love the breed as I do.
Thel and her sister Dixie Lee were both homeless and running the streets at about 5 weeks of age. Their mom, being the smart Dalmatian that she was, dropped the puppies from the litter of 13 (all liver) at different peoples houses. Thel and Dix were dropped at a friend's brothers house. I was at first going to find homes for them both but fell in love with ThelmaLou. Dixie Lee is with my good friend Jane Neely. In this pic Dixie Lee is on the left and ThelmaLou is on the right.
Thellie is my heart dog, my running partner and much more.  We are extremely bonded. She is showing in rally obedience and agility.
