FROM THE EDITOR
I know that many have tried to associate the devastating earthquake with
the Christmas celebration of Christianity, but the fact of the matter is that if
such is true, why didn’t the great earthquake occur and bring devastation on
the nations that are truly wholehearted in their observance of this pagan
celebration. The earthquake and resultant Tsunami actually affected nations that
are non-Christian in their beliefs (even though there are some few elements of
Christianity among them). Of course, any religion that is outside of the worship
of the true Creator Yahweh and His beloved and blessed Son Yahshua is idolatrous
and pagan in its concepts. This includes Judaism and Islam.
What has recently caught my eye is an article that has appeared on the
Internet entitled “Brightest
Galactic Flash Ever Detected Hits Earth.” Here is what was said
about this great flash, “A huge explosion halfway across the galaxy packed so much power it
briefly altered Earth's upper atmosphere in December, astronomers said Friday.
No known
eruption beyond our solar system has ever appeared as bright upon arrival. But
you could not have seen it, unless you can top the X-ray vision of Superman: In
gamma rays, the event equaled the brightness of the full Moon's reflected
visible light.”
This great flash was detected on Dec. 27th which was just one day after
the great earthquake. But read what else was stated about this great flash, “Had this happened within 10 light-years of us, it
would have severely damaged our atmosphere and possibly have triggered a mass
extinction," said Bryan Gaensler of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for
Astrophysics (CfA)…..The gamma rays hit the ionosphere and created more
ionization, briefly expanding the ionosphere," said Neil Gehrels, lead
scientist for NASA's gamma-ray watching Swift observatory….Still,
scientists
were surprised that a magnetar so far away could alter the ionosphere.
That it can
reach out and tap us on the shoulder like this, reminds us that we
really are linked to the cosmos," said Phil Wilkinson of IPS Australia, that country's
space weather service….Some researchers have speculated
that one or more known mass extinctions hundreds of millions of years ago might
have been the result of a similar blast altering Earth's atmosphere.
There is no firm data to support the idea, however. But astronomers say the Sun
might have been closer to other stars in the past. A
similar blast within 10 light-years of Earth "would destroy the ozone layer,"
according to a CfA statement, "causing abrupt climate change and mass
extinctions due to increased radiation.”
Is it possible that this great flash of energy is connected to the great
earthquake? The dates are too close to each other to simply discount. When they
admit that we really are linked to the cosmos, it is the belief of this author
that we are getting to the crux of the matter. What takes place on earth can
have an effect in the heavens. When scientists tested the first atomic bomb,
many believed that they might cause a chain reaction that would destroy the
earth and all of creation. If we are closely linked to the cosmos, then the
action of splitting the atom could have caused a reaction in the heavens. Is
this the first reaction in the heavens to the first atomic bomb test? I am just
speculating at this point, but the interesting thing is that with the
introduction of the atomic age, we and the creation have been corrupted with
Strontium 90. It is also interesting that the meltdown that took place in Russia
happened in Chernobyl which is Russian for “WORMWOOD!”
Yahweh warned Israel that if they forsook Him and turned back to the
idolatry of the nations, the result would be a root that bears gall and
wormwood. The Hebrew word for Gall is “rosh” and is linked to the poppy from
whence comes heroin. The reason so many turn to drugs, whether lawful or
unlawful is because we have forsaken Yahweh. The Hebrew word for wormwood is
“la’ana” which has to do with a bitter curse. The Greek for wormwood is
“apsinthos” which also has to do with bitterness and calamity.
Yahshua warned that what Yahweh has joined together let not man break
asunder (Mt. 19:6). While this is dealing with the nuclear family, Yahweh has
also joined together the atomic world. Man should not break it asunder. Great
bitterness is involved with family breakups. Great bitterness in the form of
radiation, Strontium 90, etc. is the result of breaking up the atomic structure
artificially by the hand of man.
Our article entitled “Tsunami, Precursor of the Coming Destruction?”
was written before I came in contact with the article on the galactic flash. As
pointed in Scripture and the article, Yahweh says that He will soon shake the
heavens and the earth. The galactic flash was a shaking in the heavens that did
have its effect on the earth. The earthquake also was a great shaking of the
earth. We may be in store for more galactic flashes in the near future and more
devastating earthquakes, volcanoes, etc. Have we or are we entering into the
times forecast in the Scriptures? If you have been observing the heavens, the
precession of the equinoxes, etc., and also studying and believing the
Scriptures, then you do know and understand that we are nearing the end of an
age. The end of the age will bring dire consequences on this earth. Hang on for
we are in for a violent ride! But after the smoke clears, a new day will dawn
that will bring peace and healing. May Yahweh speed that day.
JH THE IDOL SHEPHERD PART III FORGETTING YAHWEH
“For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land
mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course
is evil, and their force is not right.
“For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in My house have I found
their wickedness, saith Yahweh.
“Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the
darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon
them, even the year of their visitation, saith Yahweh.
“And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in
Baal, and caused My People Israel to err.
“I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they
commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers,
that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto Me as
Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
“Therefore thus saith Yahweh of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall:
for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the
land,” Jer. 23:7-15.
The description that Jeremiah is giving here not only applies to the
people of his day, but it certainly is descriptive of conditions in our world
today. Idolatry and its subsequent fleshly influences have a grip on this age as
it did in that age. Notice that the wickedness and idolatrous Baal worship was
found both in Israel at Samaria and in Judah at Jerusalem where Yahweh’s house
was built.
Yahweh further inspires Jeremiah to write, “I have heard what the
prophets said, that prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have
dreamed.’
“How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy
lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; “Which think to
cause My People to forget My name by their dreams which they tell every
man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten My name for Baal,” vv. 25-27.
Yahweh says that His name has been forgotten for Baal. The interesting thing concerning this
concept is that the Jews WILL NOT pronounce Yahweh’s name. When they speak of
Yahweh they call Him “HaShem” which simply means “the name.”
When they read the Scriptures, upon coming to Yahweh’s name they say
“Adonai” rather than pronounce His name. Adonai simply means Lord, Master,
etc.
Even in the English world and Bible Yahweh’s name has been replaced
with the LORD. When people
speak of Yahweh they say “The LORD this and the LORD that. Most people are even ignorant of
Yahweh’s name altogether and many who are privy to the knowledge of it scoff
at the true importance and significance of it.
The interesting thing about the name Baal however, is that it also means
master, husband, owner, LORD, husband, etc. It is the understanding of the people who uphold the true
names of the Father and Son that both the Jews and modern day Christianity are
steeped in the idolatrous Baal worship that Jeremiah revealed in his own day.
Therefore, the assemblies refrain from the use of “the LORD” and other words employed by the paganistic idolatrous world around
them.
Yahweh inspired Hosea to write concerning Israel’s idolatrous behavior,
“For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no
more be remembered by their name,” 2:17. Notice that it is speaking of
“names of Baalim.” From this we conclude that there is more than one name
for Baal and that there is more than one Baal since Baalim is also a plural word
in the Hebrew. One could say “names of Baals”
for further clarification.
Thus,
there are other names for Baal that we won’t have the space to go into in this
article, but suffice it to say that another name of Baal is the very word that
practically the whole world uses today for their deities and that word is
“God.” (Refer to Isa. 65:11 for clarification)
Yahweh said that He cut His other staff asunder which was Bands,
representing the brotherhood of Judah and Israel, Zech. 11:14.
How was this done? Judah and Israel, though outwardly appearing to be
united today, are at odds, variance with one another through religion! The Jews
worship Baal through their Judaic tradition while Israel worships Baal through
the Christian tradition. Stephen witnessing to the high priest and
Jews of His day said, "Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Molock, and the
star of your deity Remphan, figures (types, symbols) which ye made to worship
them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon," Acts 7:43. Israel and Judah began to
worship Baal through figures, types, symbols that were never commanded by
Yahweh.
Ezekiel confirms this, "As for the beauty (glory, splendor) of His
(Yahweh's) ornament (excellency), He set it in majesty (Yahweh gave all Israel
His tabernacle, priesthood, ark of the covenant and law through which they were
to worship Him): but they made the images of
their abominations and their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it
far from them. And I will give it into the hands of the
strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a
spoil; and they shall pollute it. My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute My secret: for
the robbers shall enter into it and
defile it," Ez. 7:20-22.
Both Israel and Judah are worshipping a foolish (impious, perverse)
shepherd today. Israel worships an idol shepherd.
His name is Jesus! The instruments through which he is worshipped are
false deceitful images that were never commanded by Yahweh.
Christmas trees, Christmas decorations, reindeer, a jolly fat elf,
angels, manger scenes, valentines, eggs, rabbits, the sun, the ghouls of
Halloween and stars are false deceitful images leading Yahweh's people into
idolatry, pagan Baal idol worship.
The Encyclopedia
Britannica says of Tammuz,
"He is described as the shepherd who left his flocks, as the
shepherds sat in the fields wailing for Tammuz,".....Pantibiblas of
the Greek, near Erech, seems to have been the
original seat of the cult, and in the Sumerian tradition of the ten pre-diluvian
kings, the name of one at Badtibira is Dumuzsipa,
"Tammuz the shepherd"; one of the names of Tammuz is Tibira,".....under
the title Sibzianna, "Faithful shepherd
of heaven," he was identified with Orion." (p.p. 777).
The Britannica also has this to say about Tammuz the
shepherd, "It is obvious that a cult which is based upon the death and
resurrection of a propitiating god and upon the love of a divine mother who
wails for her son, has direct connection with the facts and the theological
views based upon them which gave birth to Christianity.
But the form of the cult
which apparently most directly affected the origins of Christianity is that in
which Marduk of Babylon was identified with Tammuz. At the Nisan or new year
festival at Babylon, Bel (Marduk) was said to have been imprisoned in the lower
world, and a priestess weeps at his sepulchre. A malefactor was slain with Bel
and they descend together to the land of darkness. Beltis, his wife, descends to
hell to seek him, and Bel's garments are given Ishtar (mother of Tammuz). Bel
was laid in a sepulchre, from which he soon comes forth." (p.p. 777).
Such are the instruments (implements) of the foolish (perverse, impious)
shepherd. He is an idol (good for
nothing, vain, vanity, no value, thing of nought) shepherd that leaveth (fail,
forsake, loosen, relinquish) the flock.
This foolish, idol shepherd shall not visit those that be cut off
(perish, dead, the dead. He cannot
resurrect them). He does not seek
the young one (the straying according to Bullinger. Yea, the Christian shepherd
encourages straying from Yahweh's truth). He shall not heal that that is broken
(the wounded, sick), nor feed that that standeth still (the weak): but he shall
eat the flesh of the fat (an apt description of modern day Christianity which
feeds on its flock like the mistletoe parasite, taking away the wealth while
promising only empty false lies in the name of its false shepherd) and tear
their claws (hooves) in pieces (the split hoof represents the clean animal when
the cud is also chewed, but the cleanness is torn away through false implements
of worship) Zech. 11:15-17.
He then says, "The name "Jesus" is the name associated
with the shame.....demons or his enemies irreverently call Him
"Jesus." (Ap. 98. X). I have taken this out of context to prove a
point.
If the name Jesus is a name associated with shame, a name of irreverence
given the Saviour by His enemies, then why
should we use it when speaking of Him? Remember how Psa. 74 speaks of the enemy
blaspheming His name? Wouldn't
Jesus, then, be the name of blasphemy?
Isaiah wrote speaking of Israel, "Ye have sold yourselves for
nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.'
For thus saith the Master Yahweh, 'My People went down aforetime into
Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed
them without cause. Now therefore,
what have I here; saith Yahweh, 'That My People is taken away for nought?
They that rule over them make them howl,' saith Yahweh; 'And My name
continually every day is blasphemed," Isa. 52:3-5. Yahweh says His name and the name of His Son
is blasphemed every day. Yahweh's name has been replaced in the scripture with
Lord while Yahshua's name has been replaced with Jesus which are names
associated with blasphemy, shame, confusion, idol worship.
Jeremiah is further inspired to write, "Behold, ye trust in lying
words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear
falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other Elohim whom ye know
not; and come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My name, and
say, 'We are delivered to do all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by My name become a
den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith Yahweh,"
Jer. 7:8-11.
Yahweh here condemns Judah for seeking to mix pagan Baal, idol worship
with His true worship which robs, steals away His glory to another. Yahweh continues in Jer. 7:17-18 explaining
about the family worship of Ishtar, the queen of heaven, by the children
gathering wood, the fathers kindling a fire and the women making cakes (hot
cross buns) to her.
He then says, "Do they provoke Me to anger?
saith Yahweh: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion
(bosheth; an idol, shame) of their own faces?" Jer. 7:19.
Both Israel and Judah turned to idols, idolatry, shame and confusion.
Jeroboam, king of Israel made two calves of gold setting one in Bethel and the
other in Dan, I Ki. 12:26-29. The significance of calf worship is that the
deities of Egypt, both Osiris and Isis were worshipped through bulls, cows and
calves. The Encyclopedia
Britannica has this to say of
Isis, "She commonly wore the horns of a cow, and the cow was
sacred to her," (Article Isis, 14th Ed., Vol. 12, p.p. 708).
It says of Osiris, "Originally Osiris seems to have been an
agricultural deity of Syrian origin, who entered Egypt with the conquering
dynastic people, and was chiefly venerated at Mendes, where he comes to have
adopted a locally worshipped animal,
the goat, if he did not bring him with him. Then in a manner for which various
explanations might be given, he later on became identified with two local gods
of the dead, the hawk Sokri, and the bull (Apis) at Memphis, and eventually,
under the middle kingdom with another local dead god, Khentamentiu ("Chief
of the Westerners") at Abydos," (14th Ed., Vol. 8, p.p. 58, article
"Egypt
- Religion).
Israel, in the wilderness sojourn, sought several times to return to
Egypt.Yahweh, through Moses' leadership, would not permit it. Israel entered the land of Canaan where the Britannica article specifies the origins of Egypt's
false pagan religion stems from. Israel then began to worship Baal, turning from
the true worship of Yahweh, back to the deities from which they had been
delivered when they came out of Egypt. The
Britannica article says, "At Memphis a triple
(tri-une) Osiris, Ptah-Socharis-Osiris, was confounded with the local deity Ptah,
as well as Sokri (Socharis), and the bull Apis was his animal."
(Remember the triple deity of the
Celts? The branches of the oak tree
had "Yesu," "Taranus" and "Belenus" carved on
them).
Osiris was the Egyptian sun deity. He was worshipped through the symbol
of the ankh, the symbol of life which is
a tau cross with the aten or sun-disc on top. (Ency.· Brit. 14th Ed., Vol. 8, p.p. 59). Thus the Babylonian Tammuz, Phoenician Baal, Egyptian Osiris, Celtic
"Yesu," "Esus," "Hesus," "Jesus" are all one and the same!!!
These four items, the hawk/eagle, man, bull and lion are representatives
of a cherub, Ez. 1:5-10; 10:1-20; 41:18-19.
Isaiah chapter 14 and Ezekiel chapter 28 speaks of Lucifer (Isa. 14:12),
son of the morning, having fallen from heavenly
places, a man (v. 16) who sought to be exalted above Yahweh (v.v. 13-14), an
abominable branch (v. 19). He is
called a cherub in Ez. 28:14, having been in Eden, the garden of Elohim (v. 13),
a king of Tyrus (v. 12) who will lose his position because of religious
corruption (v.v. 17-18).
He is being worshipped today in various forms (Buddaism, Hinduism, Etc.)
but one of the most deceptive forms to the modern day western world is in the
form of Christianity under the false irreverent name of Jesus.
Zechariah saw Yahshua the high priest (a type of Yahshua, the Saviour,
the heavenly High Priest) standing before the angel of Yahweh, and satan at his
right hand to resist him. And Yahweh said unto Satan, "Yahweh rebuke thee,
O Satan; even Yahweh That hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand
plucked out of the fire?" Now Yahshua was clothed with filthy garments, and
stood before the angel, Zech. 3:1-3. Satan resists Yahweh's true worship today
through false idolatrous worship. He has even perverted and corrupted the true
name of the Saviour! One Jesus is presented as the son of the right hand of
Yahweh (Psa. 110).
Satan has sought to set himself at Yahweh's right hand. He has clothed
the Saviour in filthy, corruptible, perverted, deceitful garments.
His right eye will be blinded into darkness! His right arm withered so
that it cannot save!
Who will you worship? Jesus, who is the right eye and right arm of
modern-day christian idolatry? Or Yahshua, Who is the Son of Yahweh's right arm,
the apple of His (right?) eye? (Psa. 17:8). Yahshua said, "And if thy right eye offend (skandalizo [from whence
comes scandle]; to entrap, i.e. trip up [fig. stumble] [trans.] or entice to
sin, apostasy or displeasure) thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it
is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy
whole body should be cast into hell (geena). And If thy right hand offend (skandalizo)
thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one
of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into
hell (geena)," Mt. 5:29-30. How can our eye or our hand
cause us to apostasize?Do we look to idol worship with our eye? Do we worship holding
our hands out to idols and images? Yahshua said, "The light of the body is
the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of
light," Mt. 6:22. In another place it is said, "In Him was life; and
the life was the light of men," Jn. 1:4.
Yahshua must be the light that our eyes behold and that in spirit and
truth. He is clean, pure, holy. We must worship Him in the way that Yahweh
commands, according to scripture and not according to the traditions of this
world.
Yahshua continued in Mt. 6:23, "But if thine eye be evil, thy whole
body shall be full of darkness." Yahweh condemns the worship of modern day
Christianity as wicked and evil. The eye of wickedness and darkness must be
plucked from us so that our body might not be cast into the fire.
Our hand and arm must be stretched out to our heavenly Father, Yahweh,
through Yahshua, not an imposter who leads one into Baal worship.
We who have bowed the knee to Baal (Jesus) must turn, repent, cast off
the right eye and hand (arm) of Christianity if we are to avoid Geena!
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth (katecho:
have, hold [fast], keep [in memory],
possess, retain, seize on, take, withhold) will let, until he be taken out of
the way (out of the midst). And then shall that wicked (lawless one) be
revealed (apokalupto; to take off the cover, i.e. disclose), whom the Master
shall consume with the spirit of His mouth and shall destroy (katargeo: to be
[render] entirely idle [useless]:- bring to nought, put away [down]; Satan is
consigned to the abyss) with the brightness of His coming: even Him, whose
coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders
and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause
Yahweh shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie (We have
already seen how the Christian world worships Jesus through deceit, lies): that
they might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness (lawlessness)," 2 Thes. 2:3-12.
The man of sin is now revealed. Jesus is the man of sin that leaves the
flock. He cannot resurrect. He cannot heal.
He does not strengthen the weak nor seek after the strayed. He sits
today, in the temple of Yahweh showing himself that he is elohim. He is the idol
shepherd, the foolish (impious, perverse) shepherd. He has lead the flock into
idolatry, lies, deceit. The coming beast, therefore, the son of
perdition, the child of the devil will come in the name of Yesus, Hesus, Jesus,
the name of shame and confusion.
Yahshua, the Master from heaven, will come in glorious brightness, in the
name of Yahweh and truth. He will
utterly destroy all of the deceitful ways in which man has attempted to worship
Yahweh.
The book of Revelation chapter 12 verse 9 says that the great
dragon serpent Satan the devil has deceived the whole world. (Please read it for
yourself.)
The shepherds left to care for the flock have trampled the
green grass of the fields into the mud and mire causing the sheep to forage for
filthy food. They have muddied the waters (Spirit) with their feet causing the
sheep to drink of undesirable waters. They have made themselves fat and rich at
the expense of the flock by fleecing the sheep and sacrificing them at the
altars of idolatry. Our charge to them is to repent, confess their sins and turn
to serve the True Shepherd and Bishop of our souls.
Let us all
be deceived no longer. Let us, therefore,
repent, turn to the true Shepherd Who gave His life for the sheep. The One Who
opens and no man shuts and shuts and no man opens. The One Who will lead us into
the ways of His Father Yahweh. May Yahweh bless you and have mercy upon you through the
True Shepherd and sacrifice Yahshua the Messiah of Nazareth. Tsunami,
precursor of the coming destruction In
December 26th a tremendous earthquake occurred in the Indian Ocean that caused
tremendous destruction and loss of life in the Asiatic part of the world. The
pictures on our magazine front show several before and after pictures. Notice
the apparent beauty before the disaster and the abject desolation afterward.
The earthquake was so great that it caused the earth to wobble and even
sped its rotation some milliseconds. Reporters, who normally like to keep
religion out of their reports and assessments, were declaring that this
earthquake and subsequent destruction was of Biblical proportions. It was
somewhat good to hear these people speaking of the Scriptures on one hand, but
on the other hand, it’s too bad that it takes disaster, destruction and great
loss of lives to cause people to remember and speak of the Scriptures.
It’s so sad to see the survivors agonizing over the dead. To see so
many who are totally overwhelmed by these things. The looks on their faces and
in their eyes show a sadness, an emptiness, an expression of shock, of torture
and torment that will not vanish for quite some time.
But what has happened to that part of the world is only a precursor, a
forerunner of something even more terrible that will soon be taking place.
We are approaching the end of this present evil age. Man has taken
Yahweh’s word and cast it behind, “Why do the heathen rage, and the people
imagine a vain thing? 2
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together,
against Yahweh, and against his anointed (Messiah), saying, 3
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: Yahweh shall have them in derision. 5
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore
displeasure,” Psa. 2:1-5.
Yes, it does seem like the thing to do in today’s world. Declare
Yahweh’s word to be fiction, myths and/or ancient history, cast it aside and
turn to trust in the rulers and leaders of this world who can’t even deliver
themselves in their time of trouble. |
