WHAT REALLY HAPPENED?

 Do you really believe the Scriptures and what they say? That is a very good question for each and every one of us, don’t you think? Do you allow Yahweh’s own word to instruct you, or are you susceptible to questioning or implications that things were different from the way they were presented? Are you susceptible to Yahweh or Satan? I find that I must write this article to hopefully correct those who have fallen away to Satan’s ploy and to hopefully get them back on track, or if they will not hear, at least attempt to strengthen those who remain.  A very dear friend and I were speaking via telephone recently when he told me, "Jerry, don’t you realize that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil really wasn’t a tree?" I knew what he was getting at because I had visited various websites, some Jewish, some Christian, some Yahwist who were implying that everything written in the first few chapters of Genesis were simply metaphors for other things that took place. Their idea and teaching is that the account of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was such that the serpent and Eve had sexual relations producing Cain, who was truly the serpent’s child. This is how sin and death entered into the world. This idea can almost appear right for we read in 1 Jn. 3:11-12, "For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous." I also recently received an email, which stated, "Hello Jerry, I read your page on the Parable of the Fig tree. It was pretty much right on except it seems you left something out so I have to ask... Who do you believe is the father of Cain? Thank you. J…" Who do I believe is the father of Cain? Who do you believe is the father of Cain? Do you believe what is written in the Scriptures, or do you not really believe what is written in the Scriptures? The Scriptures say, "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from Yahweh. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground," Gen. 4:1. The Scriptures say that Adam knew, had relations with Eve, his wife, and she conceived and bare Cain. If you believe otherwise, then you have fallen and are falling for the same subtle deceitful tactic that Satan utilized against the woman Eve in the first place.

Were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil really trees, or were they just metaphors? If you believe that they were just metaphors, then you have once again fallen into the trap of deceit set by Satan the devil, that great dragon and serpent of old (Rev. 12:9).

While I am in the midst of writing this article, I want to clear up something else that I have heard many ministers erroneously declare, or have written in articles in their magazines, newsletters, etc. Yahshua came speaking in parables. These ministers will disarm and deceive their followers by proclaiming that parables are simply little MADE UP STORIES, which are tendered or brought forth in order to convey an idea and make it clear and easy to understand. Well….what did Yahshua, Himself, say that He utilized parables for? "And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear," Mt. 13:10-16. Again, Yahshua declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me," Jn. 14:6. Now, let me clarify something. Yahshua said that He is "the truth," did He not? If He is the truth, then how can He just MAKE UP STORIES, make up some fiction, which is a lie, an untruth, in order to convey truth or make something clear? Do you understand what I am getting at? Even though He spoke in parables in order to keep the overall preponderance of mankind blinded, for His own purposes, those parables had to have been about real events that had taken place, were taking place, or will take place. Let me serve warning to these ministers now, not that Jerry Healan is anything, but that Yahshua is; you are treading on dangerous ground. You need to examine yourselves, whether you truly are in the faith or not; whether you are really believing Yahshua or not; whether you are feeding His sheep the truth or not. This also goes for those who are teaching untruths about the trees in the midst of the garden, the serpent, Cain, etc. INTERCOURSE

But let me ask the question, "Do you really understand what intercourse is, and do you really understand what kind of intercourse the serpent had with the woman? Webster’s New World Dictionary defines "intercourse" as; 1. communication or dealings between or among people, countries, etc.; interchange of products, services, ideas, feelings, etc. 2. the sexual joining of two individuals; coitus; copulation; in full, sexual intercourse. Intercourse can just be an exchange of words, ideas, commerce, etc., between people, countries, families, etc. But it can also be of a physical sexual nature. It can be either one alone, or it can also be both. However, in the case of Eve and the serpent, in accordance with the Scriptural account, the word of Yahweh, which is the truth (believe it or not), only the first definition applies.

The second definition applies, according to the Scriptures, the Word of Yahweh, which is the truth (believe it or not), to Gen. 4:1 wherein Adam knew his wife Eve, and she conceived and bare Cain, and also Abel.

Satan, in his intercourse with Eve, simply planted the seed of doubt and disbelief in her mind through words, a lie (Gen. 3:4-5, Jn. 8:44).

Notice the account in Gen. 3, "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which Yahweh Elohim had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath Elohim said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Elohim hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For Elohim doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as elohim, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons," vv. 1-7. Yes, this is intercourse, but not physical sexual intercourse. It is the intercourse of communication or dealings between or among people, countries, etc. It is the interchange of ideas and words only.

Notice that when the serpent came to the woman, Adam wasn’t anywhere around. They weren’t even near the midst of the garden where the two trees were located, which at this point we need to dispel other false teachings lurking around. One false teaching is that they were forbidden to eat of either tree, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (I have read this on a Jewish website.) But that teaching is false because Yahweh said that He planted the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the midst of the garden (Gen. 2:9). But the tree that was forbidden to eat of was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen. 2:17). We can readily imply that the serpent and Eve weren’t near the midst of the garden when the serpent came to her because she replied to his question, "And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Elohim hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die," Gen. 3:2-3. Had they been near the tree would she not have said, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of this tree, Elohim has said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die." But notice also that her words do confirm that the only tree that was forbidden was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Furthermore, verse 6 reveals that it was sometime later when she beheld the tree and took of its fruit for it says, "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." Notice that the serpent is no longer around and her own husband, Adam, is with her. It also says "And when…." This term actually means that she beheld the tree later in the process of time. Many artists depict these very Scriptures falsely because they depict a tree of apples (generally) with the serpent entwined around it and the man and the woman both standing either near or under it. These works of art convey a false image to the people in the same spirit of the serpent. They are causing mankind to imagine a false concept, which leads them to disbelieve the word of Truth and rather believe a lie.

ONE OF US

Another falsehood that we must dispel is the statement made just before Adam and Eve were ejected from the garden, specifically verse 22 which says, "And Yahweh Elohim said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever." "Of us" is translated from the Hebrew word "wnmm" (memanu). Let’s notice where this word is utilized. "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it (wnmm): for in the day that thou eatest thereof (wnmm) thou shalt surely die," Gen. 2:17. "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Elohim hath said, Ye shall not eat of it (wnmm), neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die," Gen. 3:3. "For Elohim doth know that in the day ye eat thereof (wnmm), then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as elohim, knowing good and evil," Gen. 3:5. "And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of (wnmm) the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?" Gen. 3:11. Notice that in every instance of the use of this word wnmm it is speaking of eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The question we must now ask is, Should Gen. 3:22 have been translated as it appears in all of our Bibles, or shouldn’t it have been translated as, "And Yahweh Elohim said, Behold, the man is become as one from it (the tree), to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever…?" Weren’t Adam and Eve originally made like Elohim? "And Elohim said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So Elohim created man in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him; male and female created he them," Gen. 1:26-27. Weren’t they, as well as the rest of the creation pronounced to be "very good?" "And Elohim saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day," Gen. 1:31. How could man, after he had eaten of the forbidden fruit, any longer be like Elohim? Man’s nature had changed. What had he become like? Wasn’t it the tree? Yes, man had become like the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Each of us has the potential in ourselves to do both good and evil. As a matter of fact, when we are with our friends and others, we normally like to put our best foot forward so that we will appear good to everyone. We want everyone to think, Hey, he’s a good guy, or she’s a good gal. But those who live with us know that we have our good days and our bad days. We have good points and bad points. We have strengths and weaknesses. We have successes and failures. But we all fall short of being like Elohim (Ro. 3:9 & 23). The natural, carnal, fleshly man is filled with both good and evil. Some may gravitate more toward the good than the evil and vice versa, but this tree is in everyone of us who are born of, are descendants of Adam and Eve and it is working the works of death as Yahweh warned the man in the first place. As a matter of fact, the Biblical account of the birth of Cain and Abel is just an exhibition of the fact, the reality that the tree was working in both. Cain was influenced to be more evil than good. Abel was influenced to be more good than evil. Cain couldn’t stand the good in Abel, which made him jealous so he slew him (Gen. 4:8; 1 Jn. 3:12). Satan, the serpent, through his lie, has brought death, murder on all men (Jn. 8:44). Adam and Eve were made "very good." Satan and his angels, his ministers, all want to look good; like messengers of light (2 Cor. 11:12-15). The natural, carnal, fleshly man hates the good and loves the evil. Yahshua came, a light to the world, "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in Elohim," Jn. 3:19-21. THE REAL JEWS

The above Scripture brings me to another point that I feel I must dispel. The idea is going about in many circles that the Jews of Yahshua’s day weren’t really Jews, they were Edomites. The Jews of today’s world aren’t really Jews; they are Edomites. While it is true that the Edomites were suppressed in David’s day and again during the Maccabean period. Actually, many of the Edomites were forcibly converted to Judaism during this latter period. It is also true that during the Middle Ages, the Kazarean Kingdom converted to Judaism. So we can say that many in modern Judaism are not factual descendants of the tribe of Judah. However, the problem is that many are proclaiming that today’s Jews aren’t really Jews at all. But is this really true? Again, we must go to Scripture to establish proper thinking and understanding. "He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not," Jn. 1:10-11. Of course, there are also those who can’t believe the He made the world. They can’t understand that He existed before He was born in the flesh. So I guess that I must be killing two birds with one stone here. Get it? The Stone that was made without hands (Dan. 2:34, 45), and the stone that was refused, which is become the head of the corner (Psa. 118:22), which Yahshua and Peter reveal is Yahshua, "Yahshua saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is Yahweh's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?" "Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yahshua the Messiah of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom Yahweh raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved," Acts 4:10-12. The Hebrew word for "stone" that is utilized in both of these Scriptures is "eben" (nba). Interestingly, this Hebrew word, as small as it is, can be divided into two Hebrew words ab (ba) and ben (nb). Ba (ab) is the Hebrew word for father. Nb (ben) is the Hebrew word for son. Amazingly, we have a combination of TWO words IN ONE. Amazingly, Yahshua proclaimed, I and my Father are one," Jn. 10:30. "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him," Jn. 10:37-38. "Yahshua saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake," Jn. 14:9-11. The Hebrew word nb (ben/son) is defined thusly, "a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc." (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance) The son’s name was Yahshua. In the Hebrew language it is [cwhy. The Hebrew name for the Father is hwhy. Furthermore, Yahshua was a descendant of King David who was of the tribe of Judah. The Hebrew for Judah is hdwhy. Notice the dalet "d" in the name Judah. Hebrew letters were not only utilized as letters for words, they also served as numbers and hieroglyphics. Dalet "d" is a hieroglyphic for a door. Now, let’s take the dalet "d" out of the name hdwhy and we will get hwhy. Judah hdwhy is the door to Yahweh hwhy. Yahshua is the door (Jn. 10). His own name Yahshua ([cwhy) contains three of the four letters which compose the name Yahweh (hwhy). The Father and Son are one. They have a oneness, a relationship, both spiritually and physically, that the natural carnal mind of man simply can’t grasp nor understand. This author has to come to the conclusion that the principal occupants of the land of Canaan at the time that Yahshua appeared in the flesh were of the tribe of Judah. Yes, there were other non-Jewish peoples who had converted to Judaism, specifically many of the Edomites who were living in the land with them. Even Herod, who had an Edomite father and an Ishmaelite mother was practicing a very loose form of Judaism. He repaired the temple of Yahweh and granted many favors to the Jewish people, but his conversion was in name only. It wasn’t real. We understand this because he went outside the land of Canaan northward and built the city of Caesarea wherein he also built a temple for the dedication and worship of Caesar as an elohim, as the son of elohim.  As a matter of fact, we have been led to discover that much of the northern kingdom of Israel, which was termed the "lost ten tribes," primarily became converted to Christianity. Their travelings and wanderings have been traced by many authors in today’s world, as well as in times past. The Kingdom of Israel had been divided between the northern Kingdom of Israel, which was headed by the Ephraimites while the southern Kingdom was headed by the Jewish line of David. Therefore, the southern kingdom became known as the Kingdom of Judah. There are ministries in today’s world, which focus on the "Two House" concept. Their concept is that Judaism and Messianic Judaism are primarily headed by the descendants of Judah. But there are many non-Judahites, non-Hebrews who are members of these movements today. There are actually many Edomites and Israelites (non-Jewish, but descendants of the tribes of Israel) who are a part of modern day Judaism, both Orthodox and Messianic. Christianity is primarily made up and headed by the "lost ten tribes of Israel" (Ephraimites/Israel). However, there are many non-Israelite, non-Hebrew peoples in this group. There are also descendants of Judah who are members of various Christian organizations. It was prophesied that the northern kingdom of Israel would be scattered among the non-Hebrews and become "not My people" (Hos. 1:9). The northern tribes lost their identity, but the southern kingdom did retain their identity. The major point is that modern day Judaism is made up of both Jewish and non-Jewish peoples. This is according to the Scriptural and historical accounts. The descendants of Israel, the northern kingdom, have lost their identity and are still in the state of being "not My people." But the Scriptures do show that even though they may not know, nor acknowledge who they are, Yahweh knows and will restore them all in His own time and in His own way. Actually, John the Baptist’s message was that the axe was laid to the trees and whosoever was not bringing forth the fruits of the kingdom were going to be cut down and cut off. In other words, one must become grafted into Yahshua if he is going to become a member of the new Israel, whether he is a descendant of the tribe of Judah, Israel, Hebrew or non-Hebrew. (See Romans chapter 11) CONFUSION

The Scriptures proclaim, "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed," Gen. 2:25. In their state of being "very good," Adam and Eve could stand before Yahweh unashamedly even though they were naked. But something changed once they partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Their eyes were opened and they knew that they were naked and proceeded to cover their nakedness with fig leaves, of all things! I possess a fig tree and let me tell you that the leaves will irritate the flesh as do many plants, leaves, etc. Doesn’t this reveal that something had gone wrong in the old noggin (head)? Furthermore, when Yahweh popped in for a visit, Adam and Eve heard Him calling out to them and they ran and hid from Him. But Yahweh called again and they couldn’t resist His voice, so Adam said, "I heard Thy voice in the garden and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself," Gen. 3:10. Now, let’s dispel another falsehood that has been taught by some. I know that a former group that my wife and I were members of, taught that the serpent implied or told Adam and Eve that they were naked. But what do the Scriptures say? "And He (Yahweh) said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?" Gen. 3:11. Notice that two conditions were proffered. Either someone told them that they were naked, or they had eaten of the forbidden tree. Again, it is obvious that the serpent wasn’t even around when Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruit. So the only condition was that they had eaten of the forbidden fruit. Besides, the Scriptures say that they ate of the fruit and their eyes were opened and they knew that they were naked. All one has to do is allow the Scriptures to be their guide. But since Adam and Eve had sewn fig leaves into aprons in order to cover their nakedness, why did Adam say, "I was naked; and I hid myself?" Wasn’t he covered? Yes, but not before Yahweh. Something happened. Something took place in their mind so that they thought that they could cover themselves with the works of their own hands. But the reality is that no matter what we seek to cover ourselves with, if it is by the works of our own hands, then it is unacceptable. Only the covering provided by Yahweh can now be acceptable. But their attempt to cover themselves is a type, a parable, a forerunner of the many different types of religions that man has dreamed up in an attempt to cover his spiritual nakedness before his Creator Yahweh. We will get into this a little later.

Going back to Gen. 2:25, which says, "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed." Interestingly, the Hebrew word for "ashamed" is "buwsh" (cwb). It not only means "ashamed," but it also has to do with being "confused, confounded, disappointed and delayed." It’s obvious that the man and woman became ashamed when they took the forbidden fruit because they tried to cover that shame. But it is also obvious that they became confused because they tried to cover their nakedness with fig leaves! A fig leaf is pretty big and does cover about the same area as a loin cloth would, but the choice, as stated, is a rather irritating situation to the flesh. Furthermore, once plucked from its source of nourishment, the fig leaf will soon wither, then it becomes desiccated (dried out) and will crumble to pieces. Doesn’t this show that they had become rather confused? Doesn’t this show the emptiness and vanity that has afflicted mankind since that time? Not only had they become ashamed and confused (buwsh), but the kingdom was taken from them and its reign upon the earth was disappointed and delayed. I think that it is interesting that in these last days we have had two presidents, a father and son, both with the last name Bush. They have actually been very capable of living up to the Hebrew meaning of that name! I think that it may be very significant that two of our latest presidents have had that name. I think that we are very soon to find ourselves entering into a great period of unprecedented chaos and confusion. We are going to be a very disappointed, unhappy, confused and confounded people. Man has become confused, confounded very early in the game and continues to be so. Nothing has really changed in about six thousand years of history.

DUST

Most people have never really understood the concept presented in the curses pronounced upon the serpent and also the man Adam. Yahweh told the serpent, "And Yahweh Elohim said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel," Gen. 3:14-15. Then He told the man, "And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return," Gen. 3:17-19. Adam and his descendants were made of dust and return to the dust upon the cessation of life. The serpent’s food is dust. Man, Adam and his descendants were appointed to be food for the serpent. The serpent Satan deceives, confuses, confounds, divides and conquers. After all, his name or title is revealed to be Abaddon in the Hebrew tongue and Apollyon in the Greek. Abaddon is a combination of two Hebrew words; abad and adon. "Abad" is defined as, a primitive root; properly, to wander away, i.e. lose oneself; by implication to perish (causative, destroy). "Adon" is defined as, from an unused root (meaning to rule); sovereign, i.e. controller (human or divine). (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance) Thus the serpent Satan is revealed, in the Hebrew language, to be the sovereign, master, controller of those who wander away, get lost, and perish. "Apollyon" simply means "a or the destroyer." All men born into this world are born with the spirit of Adam, except for those special ones in whom Yahweh placed His Spirit. John the Baptist, and Yahshua are two of those special ones. (Yahshua was also conceived by the Holy Spirit.) Paul reveals that those with only the spirit of man, the spirit of Adam simply cannot know the things of Yahweh or Elohim, "For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of Elohim knoweth no man, but the Spirit of Elohim. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of Elohim; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of Elohim. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Elohim: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned," 1 Cor. 3:11-14. Now let’s learn a little more about our end-time and this "dust." The book of Job declares, "Iron is taken out of the earth…," 28:2. The Hebrew word utilized here for "earth" is aphar (dust). Adam was made of dust (aphar). The serpent’s food is dust (aphar). Is it not significant that the fourth kingdom of Daniel chapter two is a world ruling kingdom of iron (taken out of the earth [aphar]) which continues the rulership of the "goyim" (Gentile or non-Hebrew nations) until the stone is cut out without hands (Yahshua), which strikes the image of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream on its toes, breaking those kingdoms to pieces? (Dan. 2:34, 45) Job was speaking a parable. Daniel was also interpreting a parabolic dream that Nebuchadnezzar was given from Yahweh. Parables are given to literally hide the true meanings from the world. We must interpret the parables, spiritual things given by Yahweh thorough the Spirit of Yahweh. The natural man reads these things and can’t fully understand what they mean. As a matter of fact, false interpretations are generally tendered, but the overall preponderance of peoples in today’s world fulfill Paul’s words, for he writes, "…for they are foolishness unto him (the natural man), neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." Furthermore, since they are foolishness to him, most have been led to cast Yahweh’s word aside declaring that it is just ancient history that doesn’t even apply to today’s world. Or, because of the advancement of the teaching of evolution in today’s institutions of learning, man has been led to disbelieve the Biblical accounts and the Creator altogether. The fourth kingdom of Daniel chapter two is Rome. It was represented firstly, by iron in the legs, iron and clay in the feet, and iron and miry clay in its toes. Since Job’s parable declares that iron is taken from the aphar (dust), and man is "dust" (aphar) in accordance with Gen. 3:19, and that this "dust" (aphar) is the serpent’s food (Gen. 3:14), we must conclude some things of importance. The iron kingdom is subservient to none other than Satan the devil, that old serpent, which deceives the whole world (Rev. 12:9). This fourth kingdom is also the kingdom that the Apostle John wrote about in the book of Revelation chapters 13, 17 & 18. This last kingdom, in its final stages, has amalgamated both the civil and ecclesiastical customs of the previous three kingdoms of Babylon, Persia and Greece into and along with its own customs. That’s why it’s called Babylon the Great. Babylon comes from the Hebrew word babel. Babel simply means confusion. Babel comes from another Hebrew word balal, which has to do with mixing, mingling, etc. in order to cause confusion or confounding. Balal, in turn, yields another Hebrew word beliyl, which has to do with mixing feed (for cattle). Beliyl would be linked with another Hebrew word belial, which means to be worthless, without profit, wickedness, etc., which leads to destruction. IRON

Now, let’s learn something about iron. The Hebrew word for iron is barzel while the Aramaic word is parzel. Barzel is a combination of two words bar and zalal. Bar most importantly means "son!" When an Orthodox Jewish boy reaches the age of twelve, his Bar Mitsvah is celebrated. Bar Mitsvah simply means "son of the commandments or law." The second word in combination with barzel (the Hebrew word for iron) is zel. It comes from another Hebrew word, zalal. Zalal is defined as; a primitive root; to shake (as in the wind), i.e. to quake; fig. to be loose morally, worthless or prodigal! This certainly describes our day and age.

Remember the parable about the prodigal son? "And he said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him," Lk. 15:11-16. Most people think that this parable is about the kingdom of Judah and the kingdom of Israel. The northern kingdom of Israel was cast out of the land for their unrepentant Baal worship with the final captivity taking place in 722-721 BCE. The reasoning is that Judah is the faithful son, but Judah’s sins were worse than Israel’s because they saw what happened to Israel for their unfaithfulness and turned to Baal worship anyway. (Jer. 3:1-11) Hence, it is a parable concerning those few who have remained faithful and the overall majority of Israel and Judah who have not. CAESAR

Just before Yahshua appeared on earth, the fourth and final kingdom, Rome, had risen. In due process of time the government of Rome was converted from its republican form to that of dictator. The first absolute dictator who was worshipped as the son of god was Augustus Caesar. Caesar is the English rendering of the word. The Latin is Kaiser while the Russian is Czar. The family of the Caesars was despots of the worst kind. An in-depth study of the Roman Empire and her leaders will reveal this.

The book of Psalms reveals something critical for our understanding on this point. Psalms 80 speaks of Yahweh having taken a vine out of Egypt and planting it in the land. She grew great, but Yahweh broke down her protective hedges and allowed passers by to pluck her. (vv. 8-12) Verse 13 declares, "The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it." The Companion Bible has an important note concerning this verse. It states, "The Wood = forest. The Hebrew word for forest here (miyya’ar) has the letter Ayin ([) suspended…Read with this letter, the word means ‘forest’; without it, and with an Aleph (a) instead, it is miyy’ar, ‘river’. The ancient Jewish interpreters took this suspended letter as denoting that, when innocent, Israel would be assailed only by a power weak as a river animal; but when guilty, it would be destroyed by a power as strong as a land animal. Until the Roman power arose (whose military ensign was the ‘boar’), it was understood as ‘river’ (meaning Egypt); but afterward the Septuagint, Chaldee, and Vulgate read ‘forest’." (end of excerpt) It is important to note that the Roman standards were images of their deities, which accompanied them into battle. When Titus destroyed Jerusalem in 69-70 CE, his soldiers took him and their standards to the place where the temple of Yahweh had been and offered sacrifices to those standards, also proclaiming Titus to be Caesar.

It is important to understand that Hebrew is the language of revelation and that Yahweh utilizes various plays on words, which must be compared to the Hebrew in order to come to true spiritual understanding. For instance, one of the Hebrew words for enemy, foe, adversary, affliction, tribulation, etc., is TSAR! The head of the eastern half of the Roman Empire had the title of TSAR. The Roman Empire was the fourth kingdom of Daniel chapter two and the fourth beast, the great, and terrible, and dreadful beast of Daniel chapter seven. The head of the Roman Empire was Yahweh’s, and Israel’s enemy, their adversary! The TSAR, the enemy, is identified throughout Scripture. The Hebrew for "boar" or "swine" is chaziyr, pronounced; khaz-eer'. The Latin for Caesar is Kaiser. The Russian is Czar. Both terms are too close to chaziyr, khaz-eer’ for comfort. Furthermore, look at the image that is reproduced from The Two Babylons by Hislop. It depicts the Emperor Trajan burning incense to the goddess Diana or Artemis, also known as the Great Mother, Ishtar, Ashtaroth, etc. Notice the boar’s head in the top of the tree. The whole depiction is quite revealing to those who have eyes to see! The Caesar/Kaiser/Czar Trajan is offering incense to the goddess Diana/Artemis with the great boar/swine (chaziyr) overlooking the ritual. This is uncleanness! Rome, the iron kingdom, is a morally loose kingdom. While the kingdom appears to be magnificent and wondrous, it is actually worthless. It is the place where the wayward children of Israel (both Judah and Israel), the prodigal children, have ended up. They have lost their inheritance and are in the process of feeding the swine (chaziyr/Kaiser/Czar)! They have been given over to the enemy (oyeb), the adversary (Tsar).

CONSTANTINE

Constantine, called the Great, became sole emperor of Rome around 312 CE. The titles of Constantine’s office were Augustus, which means that he was worthy to be worshipped as god; Caesar, which has to do with the boar or swine (chaziyr); Pontifex Maximus, which meant that he was high priest over all paganism; and Tsar, which identifies him as the enemy and adversary of Yahweh and His people. Psalms 74 is quite revealing concerning the remnants of Yahshua’s disciples and Constantine, "O Elohim, why hast thou cast us off for ever? Why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture? Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt. Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary. Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs," Psa. 74:1-4. Yahshua is the Redeemer of His people. His people are His congregation, the congregation of Yahweh. They are the physical and spiritual elements of Mount Zion. Yahshua is Hebrew. He came to Hebrews. The Hebrews were given the covenant, which contained the Sabbath day as one of the commandments. It was a "sign" for Yahweh’s people (Ex. 31:13). Other "signs" were the annual feast days (Lev. 23). By the way, the New Covenant is also made specifically with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Read it for yourself in Jer. 31:31 and Heb. 8:8. The Hebrew word for "enemies" is tsarar. It is the plural form of Tsar! There were many Tsars, but the first and chief to enter Yahshua’s congregation was the Tsar Constantine, the high priest (Pontifex Maximus) of all paganism. He replaced the seventh day Sabbath commandment of Yahweh (a most important sign) with his own commandment Sunday (a sign of paganism), the first day of the week, which was attributed to Solis Invicti (the Unconquered Sun). He decreed the signs of Easter and December 25th to be the annual signs rather than Passover and the other annual feast days of Yahweh. Other Tsars came along who introduced other annual days such as Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and other days set aside to venerate their saints. Thus, in today’s world "They (the tsarar, the Tsars, the enemies, the adversaries) have set up their ensigns for signs." Verse 9 says, "We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long." The people who were set aside to serve and worship Yahweh teaching His ways and upholding His signs have been deceived to give glory, honor and worship to another. ESUS

Psalms 74 continues, "A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees. But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers. They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground. They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of Elohim in the land," vv. 5-8. Notice that "A man" is italicized. This was added to the Scriptures to supposedly clarify, but the situation is that the Psalm is speaking of the enemy (oyeb) and enemies (tsarar). There was one who was depicted in ancient time lifting an ax upon thick trees.

The accompanying pictures reveals that this one’s name is Esus (pronounced as Hesus). He is a trinitarian deity of the Druids and others. A stone depicting Esus, Jupiter, Volcanus and a bull with three cranes (Tauros Trigaranos) on its back was discovered around Notre Dame in Paris, France in 1711. The stone was dedicated during the reign of Tiberius Caesar (14-37 CE) by Parisian mariners. Esus/Hesus was depicted with an axe cutting trees down. This stone certainly fits with Psa. 74:5.

It also reveals that Esus was a known deity by the Caesars during that time. However, it was Julius Caesar who defeated the Gauls in that area that would have had first contact with this deity. Since Jupiter was the supreme Roman deity, Esus was either incorporated into a trinitarian relationship with him or he was already known by the Romans, but not greatly published. The other deity of this trinity, Volcanus, was the Roman fire god. Freemasonry traces him back to Tubal Cain, the great-great grandson of Cain. (I have the particulars for any who would like have them.)

Psa. 74:7 declares that they have cast fire into Thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of Thy name to the ground. "By casting down" is another phrase that is italicized in order to supposedly clarify. While it is true that the Romans did destroy the temple of Yahweh by fire, burning it to the ground, more is meant here than truly meets the eye on first contact. By introducing Esus (pronounced Hesus), who is a Trinitarian deity with Jupiter and the fire god Vulcan, the Tsars, the enemies, the foes, the adversaries of Yahweh and Yahshua have cast fire into the faith that Yahweh raised up through Yahshua for salvation. In other words, the worship of Esus/Hesus/Jesus, is the worship of ancient pagan fire gods, not the true worship of Yahweh. Constantine made it illegal on pain of torture and death to possess any Hebrew documents. He moved the government of the Roman Empire from old Rome to Roma Nova (New Rome), the city of Constantinople. Constantinople was in the area of Macedonia/Greece and their language was Greek. He presented fifty copies of the Scriptures in the Grecian language to the churches/cathedrals of Constantinople. The eastern half of the Roman Empire was Grecian in nature in contrast to the Latin of the western half.

BLASPHEMY

This author has identified Constantine to be the little horn of Daniel chapter eight. Psalms 74 asks, "O Elohim, how long shall the adversary (Heb. = tsar) reproach? Shall the enemy blaspehme Thy name forever?" (v. 10) The Tsar is the adversary. He is the ENEMY! The Hebrew word for "enemy" here is oyeb. Oyeb has to do with one who hates, an adversary. It comes from another Hebrew word ayab, which is defined as, a primitive root; to hate (as one of an opposite tribe or party); hence to be hostile. (More on this later.) The enemy, the Tsar not only hated the Hebrew language, but he hated the Hebrew names of the Father and Son, Yahweh and Yahshua. Psalms 74:18 also declares, "Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Yahweh. And that the foolish people have blasphemed Thy name." Constantine was the one who was instrumental in removing the true names of the Father and Son from their own word. He replaced the Father’s name with Theos and Kurios, and Yahshua’s with Iesous. Constantine knew that he needed the support of the Greeks, the Latins, the Gauls, the Celts and others, so he performed a little skillful play on the name of Esus. In Latin, he simply added a "y" to the name to obtain Yesus. The Greek rendering of the same name would be Iesous. Constantine was a blasphemer! He blasphemed the names of the Father and Son by converting them from the Hebrew into the names of the pagan, idolatrous deities of the Romans and Greeks!

Psa. 74:23 says, "Forget not the voice of thine enemies (tsarar): the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually." Let’s look at this verse more closely. The Hebrew word that is translated as "continually" is tamiyd. It is the very same word that is translated elsewhere as the "daily sacrifice!" What is being said here? Doesn’t it say in previous verses that the enemy (oyeb), the adversary (Tsar) has blasphemed Yahweh’s name? Historically, the enemy, the adversary, rejected the names Yahweh and Yahshua, blaspheming those awesome and majestic names by replacing them with the names of pagan deities. The people have been deceived to call out, to pray daily in these false, blasphemous names. The Hebrew word for "tumult" is sha’own. It is defined as, uproar (as of rushing); by implication, destruction. Furthermore, it comes from another Hebrew word sha’ah, which is defined as, a primitive root; to rush; by implication, to desolate. Their voice, which is lifted up as a daily sacrifice (prayer), because of the blasphemous names, leads to destruction, desolation. THE LITTLE HORN

Daniel is inspired to write, "And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered," Dan. 8:9-12. Notice that an host is given him against the "daily sacrifice." This is translated from the very same Hebrew word, tamiyd, that "continually" was translated from in Psa. 74:23. Notice also that this little horn waxes "great." Constantine was called "the great." He waxed great to the host of heaven. Who is the host of heaven? The host of heaven are the false pagan deities that mankind set up as their elohim. This little horn, Constantine the great, entered into the remnants of Yahshua’s disciples. He took away the true daily sacrifice (tamiyd) by reason of transgression! Transgression is translated from pesha, which is defined as, a revolt (national, moral or religious). It is generally translated throughout the Scriptures as, rebellion, sin, transgression, trespass. Constantine led Yahshua’s followers into rebellion, into apostasy, a falling away and a revolt against Yahweh’s laws. Sin is the transgression of the law (1 Jn. 3:4). Constantine not only rebelled by taking away the true names from the Scriptures and out of the people’s minds, but replaced them with false abominable pagan names! He ordained Sunday, the first day of the week to be observed as the day to congregate rather than the Sabbath day commanded by Yahweh. He overthrew the annual holy days ordained by Yahweh in favor of annual pagan days attributed to Ishtar (Easter) and the unconquered sun god (Solis Invicti) Mithras (Dec. 25th). By lifting up abominable names and paganistic practices, he casts the truth to the ground or earth and tramples upon it. This process continues to this day! The little horn’s way of transgression practices and prospers. The word for "practiced" is ‘asah. It means to work. Everyone who seeks to declare the way of salvation calls it "the work." The work (asah) of a false salvation continues to go forth throughout the earth through the efforts of this little horn (Constantine) and his successors (tsarar). To "prosper" is translated from tsalach. Of course, we know what "prosper" means, but the Hebrew definition is, a primitive root; to push forward, in various senses (literal or figurative, transitive or intransitive):--break out, come (mightily), go over, be good, be meet, be profitable, (cause to, effect, make to, send) prosper(-ity, -ous, - ously). (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance Hebrew Lexicon #6743. Constantine’s paganized, corrupted religion is pushed forward as the true faith, which is what Christianity has been upholding. DECEIT/FRAUD

More explanation is given, "And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand," Dan. 8:23-25. This little horn causes "craft" to prosper. Craft is translated from mirmah, which is defined as, from 7411 in the sense of deceiving; fraud. Mirmah is generally translated throughout the Scriptures as, craft, deceit(-ful, -fully), false, feigned, guile, subtilly, treachery. Furthermore, #7411, the primitive root word from whence mirmah comes is the Hebrew word ramah, which is defined as, to hurl; specifically, to shoot; figuratively, to delude or betray (as if causing to fall).

Number 7413 is the feminine active participle of number 7411. It also is the Hebrew word ramah, which is defined as, a height (as a seat of idolatry). Remember that Rome, in Latin is Roma. Rome was referred to as being feminine and she became the seat of idolatry. Rome is presented as a very important seat for the worship of the Elohim of the heavens, a high place, but she has been the seat of idolatry, fraudulently deceiving the nations of the earth.

The overall preponderance of the peoples of the earth have never understood that Rome has been divided into three key cities, which have served as important seats of idolatry. Old Rome located in Italy is the Rome that the world is familiar with. She is home to the Roman Catholic Church.

Constantine abolished the government of Old Rome and moved the center of government eastward to Roma Nova (New Rome), which was Constantinople. He built the city named after himself upon the foundation of Byzantium. The city was known by all three names, New Rome, Constantinople and Byzantium. She became the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Church. She was renamed Istanbul by the Ottoman Turks, but continues to serve as the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Church to this day.

Istanbul is a very significant name if one converts it into Hebrew. Istanbul can be broken down into three Hebrew words, Ish-tan-baal. Ish equals man. Tan equals serpent. Bul equals baal. When Israel sang Yahweh’s victory song recorded in Ex. 15, they sang, "Yahweh is a man of war." (v. 3) The Hebrew for man utilized here is Ish. Baal is a Hebrew term which means "lord, master, sovereign. Thus, Istanbul makes the serpent man to be lord, master, sovereign. The Moslems evidently either knew this or were simply led by Yahweh to name the city what it really is. When Constantinople, the Second Rome, was captured in 1453 CE, the headquarters of the eastern half of the Roman Empire was moved to Moscow, Russia, which became known as the Third Rome. She became the headquarters of the Russian Orthodox Church and the center of power for the Tsar/Czar.

The Protestant Churches came out of the Roman Catholic Church in protest, but have never repented of her paganistic influences. Therefore, we have the four major Christian religions, Roman Catholicism, Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox and Protestantism submitting to the spirit and power of Constantine and the serpent pushing forward, proclaiming a message of salvation which is the abomination that leads to desolation.

ESAU

The Encyclopedia Judaica, in its article on Rome, states that "Rome, in Rabbinic literature is Esau, Edom, Amalek, Seir, and Tyre!" It also states that Rome was known as the wanton kingdom being associated also with the pig and eagle among other things. (Remember that the "pig" is chaziyr in Hebrew, relating to the Kaiser/Czar/Caesar.) In The Wisdom in the Hebrew Alphabet, Michael Munk writes, "The evil wv[, Esau or Edom was blessed with wealth and success in this world, while his twin brother, Jacob, was to inherit the world to come." He goes on further to say that Esau is the ancestor of Edom/Rome. A Dictionary of the Targumim, The Talmud Babli and Yerushalmi, and The Midrashic Literature by Marcus Jastrow, PH. D. LITT. D., says, "Esau (Edom), frequently a disguise for Rome." Remember that the Hebrew word for "enemy" is oyeb, coming from the primitive root word ayab, which means to hate (as one of an opposite tribe, or party). Esau was the older twin brother of Jacob. Both men sired tribes. Esau’s family was an opposite tribe or tribes. Esau hated Jacob (Gen. 27:41). The Hebrew word for "hated" utilized in this verse is satam. Satam is defined as, a primitive root; properly, to lurk for, i.e. persecute. It is also variously translated as, hate, oppose self against. The point of this is that if the true Messiah is to come from Jacob, then the anti-messiah (anti-christ) is to come from Esau. Esau’s descendants have maintained a perpetual hatred against Israel, "Moreover the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it, And say unto it, Thus saith the Sovereign Yahweh; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am Yahweh. Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end: Therefore, as I live, saith the Sovereign Yahweh, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee. Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth," Ez. 35:1-7. Esau sold his birthright to Jacob (Gen. 25:29-34). Having been Isaac’s firstborn son, the inheritance and covenant promised to Abraham belonged to him. Yahweh would also be his inheritance. Esau despised his own birthright because he didn’t consider it important enough to lay down his life for it. Thus it is written, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see Sovereign: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of Yahweh; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright," Heb. 12:14-16. "Fornicator" is translated from the Greek word pornos, which is defined as, a (male) prostitute (as venal), i.e. (by analogy) a debauchee (libertine). (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, Greek Lexicon) "Prostitute" is defined as, vt. 1. to sell the services of (oneself or another) for purposes of sexual intercourse 2. to sell (oneself, one’s artistic or moral integrity, etc.) for low or unworthy purposes —adj. 1. [Rare] given over to base purposes; debased; corrupt —n. 1. a woman who engages in promiscuous sexual intercourse for pay; whore; harlot 2. a person, as a writer, artist, etc., who sells his services for low or unworthy purposes (Webster’s New World Dictionary). "Venal" is defined as, 1. [Now Rare] capable of being obtained for a price [venal services] 2. that can readily be bribed or corrupted [a venal judge] 3. characterized by corruption or bribery [a venal bargain]. (Webster’s New World Dictionary) "Profane" is translated from the Greek word bebelos and is defined as, from the base of 939 and belos (a threshold); accessible (as by crossing the door-way), i.e. (by implication, of Jewish notions) heathenish, wicked (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, Greek Lexicon). The Roman Emperor Constantine the Great was evidently a descendant of Esau, an Edomite. He feigned repentance, entered into the New Testament Assembly founded by Yahshua, the chief cornerstone, whose foundation is the Apostles and Prophets, took over as the Pontifex Maximus and began to prostitute, profane and corrupt the faith incorporating heathenish and wicked ways into it.

Bebelos comes from the base of 939. #939 is the Greek word basis. Basis is defined as, from baino (to walk); a pace ("base"), i.e. (by implication) the foot (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance). Interestingly, the Roman Empire is represented by the two legs of iron and the feet, which are part of iron and part of clay in Daniel chapter 2. Another interesting item is that Italy, the home of the original Rome is shaped like a foot or boot. Rome was the center of paganism. The Romans, upon capturing a city, state or nation, would carry their deities, priesthoods and temple appurtenances to Rome so that Rome would become the center of worship for those deities. Rome is truly Esau, Edom, Amalek, Seir and Tyre.

A "debauchee" is one who seduces others into extreme indulgence, especially of a moral nature. A "libertine" is one who leads an unrestrained, sexually immoral life. Remember that Rome is represented by the iron, which is barzel, having to do with being loose morally, worthless, prodigal. SEIR

Esau was given Seir for his birthright, "Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession," Dt. 2:5. "Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom. Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite; And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth. And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel; And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan. And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob. For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle. Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom. And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir," Gen. 36:1-9. Seir comes from the Hebrew word se’iyr, being formed like another Hebrew word sa’iyr. (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, Hebrew Lexicon). Se’iyr means rough. That’s why Esau was named as he was. When he was born, he was very hairy and rough to handle. Sa’iyr is defined as, shaggy; as noun, a he-goat; by analogy, a faun. It is generally translated as, devil, goat, hairy, kid, rough, satyr throughout Scripture, etc. But notice that! Seir’s basic root word is the word from whence comes the word DEVIL! Scripture prophecies that in the latter days, Israel would turn to worship DEVILS! "But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook Eloah which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to Elohim; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten Elohim that formed thee. And when Yahweh saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not Elohim; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them. They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust," Dt. 32:15-24. The Hebrew word for "devils" is sa’iryim, which is plural of sa’iyr. Israel (both Israel and Judah) have lightly esteemed Yahweh, Who is the Rock of his salvation! Yahweh finally got to the point that He couldn’t stand it anymore and cast both kingdoms out of the land of Canaan. Yahweh said that they would be devoured by the teeth of beasts. Daniel saw four beast-like kingdoms rise out of the Great Sea (the Mediterranean). The first beast was like a lion, the second like a bear, the third like a leopard and the fourth was so dreadful and terrible that there was no known earthly beast that Daniel could utilize to describe it. (Dan. 7) Israel has been consumed by Babylon, the first beast, by Persia, the second beast, by Greece, the third beast and by Rome, the fourth beast.

These kingdoms worshipped their own deities, which were of the serpent. The serpent is the adversary (satan) of Yahweh and Yahshua. He hates the truth. He does all he can to deceive, lead astray and to literally devour their flesh, which is made from the dust (aphar).

All of mankind has followed the example of their forefather Adam by covering themselves with the works of their own hands, of which fig leaves are a type, a parable. In their false religious beliefs, as well as their immorality, men and women aren’t having their sexual relations with the serpent, but rather with one another, but are being deceived and misled by the serpent. Their physical intercourse is with each other, but the spiritual intercourse, the power of suggestion is with the serpent. It is time to realize the vanity of following our own ways. It is time to realize that we have been and are being led down a primrose path to destruction. It is time to cease feeding the swine, the Caesars/Kaisers/Czars and to turn to Yahweh with all our hearts through His way of salvation, Yahshua the Messiah.
